Fernando Corona is an out-of-state real estate investor who made his way into the real estate market in search of time freedom. He understands that in order to be a great entrepreneur, he first must be the man that his family needs him to be as both a husband and a father. His goal has always been to enjoy each and every day doing what he's passionate about, even if it means taking multiple steps back to start over. In the short 3 years of entrepreneurship, he and his wife have been able to achieve the desired lifestyle of traveling while working and taking days off to go to the beach with their 17-month-old daughter, all while allowing cash-flowing investments to pay for their lifestyle. They currently invest in a rent-by-the-room model where they turn a 4bed/2bath into an 8bed/2bath to increase rents that would normally be about $2000/month up to nearly $6000/month while simultaneously helping solve the problem of affordable housing.

Dane Kania advises not to be afraid of any rejections while requesting assistance to start something you know would benefit you and how does reading blogs and podcasts help him commit to buying properties.. No matter how small a deal is, as long as you are consistent it will get you to play a role on a much higher level.
Dane Kania grew up in Traverse City, Michigan and received a Bachelor's Degree from Northern Michigan University. Having friends living in Park City, Utah he would spend most of his spring breaks visiting and quickly became infatuated with the "mountain lifestyle". Following his graduation, he packed up his car and headed west to Utah. The first four years, he did as many post grads would do and found a safe job doing sales and marketing . Many of his colleagues expressed how they sell real estate on the side and invest in rental properties. After some research and a few good books on the topic he found myself hooked and took action. He acquired his real estate license and set sail on his investing career.
Fast forward four years, together with his wife they were able to build a portfolio of 8 doors (2 duplexes, a triplex, and a condo) using several different methods such as house hacking and the BRRRR method. In addition, they flip around 4-6 houses per year to help fuel their buy and hold goals of achieving financial freedom. When not doing real estate, you will find him and his wife up in the mountains or down in the deserts of Southern Utah with our two dogs, Dax and Brynlee.
