This is one of the most common fears I hear from my clients and colleagues - and I see how it is taking up so much time and energy which prevents them from setting boundaries and changing their relationship with their work! In this episode I explore three areas where this fear frequently shows up, and do my best to show the major thought errors that are keeping folks stuck. I show how taking desired actions to make healthcare feel more human actually HELP prevent future lawsuit and complaints - and offer you the peace and confidence to know you’d be ok even if one does come your way.

Have you noticed yourself getting stressed when you encounter patients that can't be "fixed"? I see so many colleagues, clients and learners who feel guilt or shame when they are trying to help a patient and it seems there aren't any effective solutions. Underneath, it seems like unless we're fixing our patients, we're helpless or even wasting our time.
I want to offer a completely different way of thinking about our patients, their bodies, and our role in their care. A way that doesn't require us to fix anyone. A way that doesn't require us to think of our patients as broken and in need of fixing at all. It has been such a freeing and empowering frame to bring to my work in healthcare, and I hope it feels the same for you.
