My podcast will inform you of the lifestyle I live and how my family, my faith and the subject of history formed me into who I am. I will explain why I will not conform, I am a category mistake and I am proud.
Who in your life helps you grow? Who do you help grow and change? Is change bad, or is it something that helps you grow and be a better person? Today I talk about how everyday we are around people who can either change us for the good, or the bad. Remember though, you are also changing them for the good and the bad. The question is are they helping you grow and are you helping them?
Sometimes we are grumpy, frustrated, and overall upset with the world. Maybe we should start to be good to one another, not just to the people we must, but to people we see and meet daily. George Bailey once said "Just remember this, Mr. Potter, that this rabble you're talking about, they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this community. Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath?" That's what we should all strive for to help others.
When someone apologizes for wronging you, do you forgive them? When you forgive do you forget? True forgiveness is hard, but we should all try it. If I can do it, you can do it.
Why do we apologize for speaking the truth? Why do we apologize for living in a way that makes us and our family safe and happy? No one should ever apologize for being ourselves and we should also not expect others to apologize to us for doing what is best for them and their families. I'm Sorry is a powerful statement, lets start using it the way it is meant to be used, use it as a statement that shows that we care truly about who we have hurt.
Every day we have so many options for spending and using our time. Giving five or even ten minutes to a person when they need someone to listen can change not just their world but the world as a whole. The world has pushed us to worry more about me over we, the human race needs more we. And only WE can fix it.
For most of our lives, we are told to go after our dreams and our dream job. If you're like me your dream job ideas have changed a lot since you were 8, 18, and even 28. What we need to understand is it is not just your dreams it's doing something with your life that makes you complete. I have mine, do you have yours?
Every day we get bombarded with the world telling us what to think, how to act, and how to be important enough for the world to care about us. Tell the world and all its negativity that their opinion does not matter. Tell yourself, tell others that you care about that they matter. They matter, You Matter, not just to your friends, not just your family, but to the creator of the Universe. From now on every day find someone in your life that you care about and tell them that they matter, and then tell yourself that YOU MATTER!!!!
Sometimes we push ourselves to care for all the people around us instead of thinking about caring for ourselves. Not just our physical well-being, but our mental well-being. Let us explore how my mind deals with the concept of Quality Mental Health.
How have we become so angry that we no longer care about each other? We are so angry that we are now trying to assassinate Presidential candidates. We can no longer have breakfast together without the precursor of no talking politics. We also have stopped caring about people who need compassion and caring. What Are We Doing!!!!!
To Phone or not to Phone? That is the question not just for me but for everyone I know. I struggle with how a small piece of technology can run my life and everyone else around me. From Blackberry to the OG iPhone cellphones have grown not just in power but also in the power to control our everyday life.
In a year in which our only real options are an elderly man, who can't speak in full sentences, a man whose biggest claim to fame is whenever his family runs for President bad things happen, or a man who would rather cheat on his wife and his taxes than do the right thing, what are we to do as Americans?
Do you ever wake up and wonder if today's decision will change your life for the good or bad? Or maybe your dream is not your reality and that's ok? Let's talk about how my struggles might also be yours. Let us share or struggles together.
What makes you happy? Puppies, Starbucks, Call of Duty, or maybe a good book? I want to explore what makes you happy and maybe learn what I can do to make myself happy. People are fickle creatures, and after thousands of years of war, famine, and absolute chaos, what is happiness and what can we do to be truly happy? Let's find out together.
Do you have daddy issues? This video talks about how one director showed that daddy issues are not just for us normal people. Even amazing people like Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones can have them too.
When John Lennon wrote this song in 1971, he was talking a lot about Vietnam, but this song could so fit into today's world. Lets talk about that.
What has life given you that you did not expect? Was it a good thing, or was it something that made your life worse? I think sometimes life's messes actually bless us all.
How does my mother dying, my long-lost sister and an Easter Egg hunt make me who I am today and in the future?
How does being a human being all of a sudden make people think that you are a liberal? What has happened to the world where only Liberals care about each other? I am not a liberal, I am a human being that wants the world to be better.
Everything I say in this podcast will offend someone, I talk about America's perspective on bad guys, gender, sex, and abortion. But don't worry, if I anger you, I did warn you before you listened.
Sometimes as a parent, I don't think I express to my children how proud I am of them. I try to fix that with this episode, I hope I did it well.
Have you ever watched a superhero movie? Have you ever wanted to be one? Maybe you are the real hero of your story? Maybe you have been the hero the whole time?
I know it sounds crazy, but men cannot have babies but we still can be good parents. Also, men and women are not perfect, no matter what we all think. Being a Mom, Dad, Man, or Woman does not mean you have to be perfect, it means you have to be human.
If you are anything like me, the stress of always being on, of always needing to be the one people depend on, is well an impossible thing to live up to, this podcast is for you. I take a deep dive into the Movie Encanto and explain how maybe cracking, breaking is not a bad thing. Maybe you have a different way of dealing with stress and expectations, if you do give it a listen, and chime in with what works for you.
Do you wonder why you have so much stress in your life? Or why do bad things always seem to happen to you? Maybe I have the answer for you? Just try it to see if I am right!
Why haven't I been on lately? Why is this world seem like a giant cesspool of pain and hurting? Come find out!
New Year 2022 is here, what are your plans and what have you learned from the year that we have just survived. My family joins me for this fun Podcast
How is life growing up in a family of 4 compared to a family of ten people? How about growing up in a city-like life versus growing up in a more rural setting? I have two special guests discussing how things are different in the lives of kids growing up with one sibling compared to eight. You can also follow on twitch.
What and how we celebrate and look at Christmas is different for everyone, we discuss how each tradition is maybe just a little crazier than others.
Jack Brown joins us for this podcast, to talk about movies and how no matter the type of movie, they bring up certain emotions. From Star Wars to the movie Beaches, we discuss the messed-up world of movies in the world today.
Have you ever wondered why Christmas movies always have the happiest of endings? Every year, when I watch movies like It's a Wonderful Life or A Christmas Story I again regain faith in the human race. Please let us this year focus on our family, and friends, and not care about the stress and craziness of the world we live in.
When you make a choice, a decision, how much thought, or second-guessing do you do? In my life making a choice, a decision is so difficult, I sometimes will just blindly pick something hoping it makes people in my life happy. Do you ever do the same? Is the right decision always a good decision? That is the process I am trying to still figure out.
I have come to realize through my "love" of sports that everything from Football, to seltzer water, can be addicting. It is not just drugs and alcohol, anything that takes away time from those you love can be an addiction. My problem of course is the people I love are also my addiction. How do I balance it all?
Are you married? Do you want to be married? When you get married, or when you got married, did you or do you expect perfection? Fighting is normal for everyone. To struggle is normal. Having anxiety, and stress is normal. You can be ok, with being ok. Never give up on your spouse, even if they want to give up on you. It takes two people giving 100 percent, to really make a marriage work. It is not 50-50 it is 100-100. Never forget that.
Have you ever just woken up on the day you were born, and asked yourself, why is this day so important to everyone else? My birthday is that day for me, I walk through why this day is so hard for me to put on a happy face. Maybe together we can figure out why?
This episode is dedicated to the man who had faith in me. He had faith in who I was supposed to be, even when I did not see it myself his name is David Ingrassia, and he is my superhero.
From Facebook to Instagram our world is run by social media. From Free Britney to the cancel culture of Hollywood, our world cannot decide if we hate each other or if we love each other. The real question is, how can places like YouTube and Snap Chat help us decide what kind of human we are going to be every day? I choose to be loving and caring, I will leave the hatred to others.
How do the movies I watch help and also interfere with my emotions and how I deal with "real life" things?
The saying goes no one on their death bed ever says they wish they spent more time at work. My family is my passion, and I hope on my lasts days none of my family says I left them for something more important
My thoughts on how we can take the events of twenty years ago and maybe remember that being a human is more important than being a political party.
I talk about how my life and movies, comics, and tv shows all kind of make sense in the same world. How no matter how far-fetched a movie seems if you get down to the truth of the show or movie there is a real human story there that can and will touch you.
What is happening in Afghanistan and how it is affecting my mental health and welfare. I go over why this subject is important to me.
