"How do I tell my parents I'm pregnant? I'm currently, nearly 11 weeks pregnant and so worried about telling my parents I'm pregnant. Backstory, my partner has only just got back into work after having nearly a year off after he quit last June. I own my house at 27, so he was living here, not working and not doing anything around the house. We had a miscarriage in January and my mum has made it clear to me she likes him, but not when he's a dole bludger and doing nothing around the house. He's always wanted kids before me, he's 25, but I've always wanted him to grow up a bit more first. He's promised me that things will change when we have the baby. I want this baby so much after miscarrying but I'm just worried how my parents are going to take it after he hasn't made the best impression and if my partner is actually going to be the dad I want for my children. We have been together for 4 years. Thanks, hopefully, I can get an outsider's opinion. Have a great day, lovely ladies. " Anonymous

"Here goes nothing...I've been dating my current boyfriend for about a year and when I say dating, I use that term lightly... he goes out with his buddies all the time without me. He only comes over when it suits him, and when I ask him if he wants more from us he gets all weird with me. We had a fight a little while ago and he said "I love you, but I'm not in love with you". It broke my heart a little, but the next day he was back to normal. I'm so confused. I'm nearly 30 and I'm sick of trying to find someone who checks all the boxes...is near enough, good enough?"- Anonymous

"I need an outside perspective on my love life. For years my ex went back and forth cheating on me with this other woman, eventually, I fell pregnant, miscarried and our relationship completely fell apart to the point where we actually divorced and he married the other lady. I’ve moved on and let it go and have actually met someone at work who I think I’m in love with and I think I could have a future with but...he’s married. Hey ladies, I have a mum question to ask...I need a break. I have 2 kids and I work and recently I’ve lost a little of the joy in my life because I just never get to stop. My girlfriends have suggested that we have a Girls Weekend Away, just us no kids, no husbands. Heaven! But when I brought this up with my hubby he said no problems...but then he gets to go on a Boys Weekend. I know he’s probably struggling too and needs a break, but boys' weekends get way more rowdy and I’m not sure if I'm comfortable with it. Ahhh, am I reading into this too much?" - Anonymous

I love my Boyfriend. I really really do, he’s PERFECT for me but he does have a HUGE red flag…. His family. I know a lot of partners have issues with MIL’s and SIL’s that suck, but in the last 2 years that we’ve been together almost all of our big arguments have involved or been started by his family. Can you ever just have a completely content and happy household or will there always be something that grates or irks us about the little things that we each do or don’t do that pisses us off! Backstory: In our house, my SO does the cooking and I do the dishes. It’s even and it works. In my mind, I just have to clean the dishes ready for the next meal so I sometimes just leave the dishes and do them in the morning or afternoon after work. To him, apparently, this is like nails on a chalkboard. I literally don’t see it though, and I know in my mind that it’s going to be clean for when he gets home anyways, so it doesn’t matter.
