Gloria is the energy and brains behind Soul Punch Power Academy. Soul Punch provides women with safety and resilience training – focused on empowerment, safety, self-defense, and trauma recovery. Her goal is to train one million women, so that they can, in turn, train five million more, and so on. Until women all around the world own their own strength and power and are no longer subject to trauma or fear.

Dr. Barbara Rupp and Dr. Mary Kay Kelly are two of the Hanover area’s finest educators. With over 80 years of combined experience in educating children and adults, they know how to reach people with important information. This episode of SHEROES focuses on Kelly Lynch, a high-energy woman who recently retired from a 33 year career teaching Spanish and English. Kelly is best known for her work outside the classroom as an advocate for the Latinx community, and an inspiration to students of all ages interested in building a better world. I asked her if she had always wanted to be a teacher.
