Hosted by Apex Laurent, a first generation American of Congolese descent. After graduating from Temple University, I became a full time Entrepreneur and entertainment Host. I travel the world hosting events such as AfroFestTour & R&B Only LIVE as well as interviewing various strangers turned allies, Entrepreneurs, & Creatives in various industries. My objective is to learn more about the world around us. I previously worked in New York City for Sony Music Entertainment as a Marketing Consultant and prior to that, I was a Senior Sales Trainer at Homeadvisor/Angi Services.

Here on the Millennial Nomad, I explore the millennial experience through my own personal lens. Navigating the entertainment industry,improving our skills of dynamic communication, growing up with African culture in an American world with Euro-centric education, and lastly growing as an entrepreneur to shape my place in society. Many of us will battle things like imposter syndrome, creative block, trauma, depression, and anxiety, but may not have the right spaces to speak on it. I hope this podcast connects me to my tribe, and we can all grow as a community. I have big plans for this world, a village can make them bigger, but a kingdom can shift the culture!
