Today, we look at changes in schedule, how laser printers work and how they're better than inkjet printers.

TRANSCRIPT:

Hello, first I would like to say that its wonderful posting here again after such a long time!

I wanted to talk about the changes in schedule and stuff so let's get right to it!

We live in world where there are exams. And when you find exams you find, tension.

So, I may not post every single day, but there is a chance because I have free time.

Also, the episodes will no longer be shortened to 1-2 minutes, they'll be 5-8 minutes.

The podcast will be on RSS and will be coming to Spotify & google podcasts later. Actually, the situation is a bit stickier than expected so I’ll make a whole other podcast about that.

Ok, now that we've got that out of our way, I want to get into the topic of today's podcast, Laser Printers.

How they work, and why they're better than ink printers.

Let's get into how they work.

First a laser starts making an opposite charge image/document on to a rolling cylinder.

And you might be excepting a laser to burn the paper is such a precise way, it makes an image.

But as Thanos once said ‘’Reality is often disappointing’’

What actually happens is laser printers use a material called 'Toner'. A lot of companies make

laser printers so there are many toners, each with their own secret that's

heavily protected. This is the material that gets attracted on to the negative charge the laser

makes. There is toner for all 4 colors C-Cyan Y-Yellow M-Magenta K-Black (for some reason) These are called primary colors, but that’s a whole other can of worms, which I’ll cover in another episode.

Toner is applied for all 4 colors and that’s why you get a nice spectrum of colors when you use a printer.

Finally, everything is smooshed together by heat & pressure to give you your final term essay you waited 2 hours before the deadline to submit.d

Now for some quick facts about laser printers

1- They print in higher quality as opposed to inkjet printer

2- They are used at most offices as they are capable of printing a lot

3- They are durable

4- They print faster than inkjet printers

5- (Personal preference) They are more gimmicky

All right guys, that’s it for today’s episode, I hope you learnt about laser printers & how they work; I was pretty intrigued by how it works myself while researching for this episode. So, stay tuned & stay curious everyone. Bye!
