The Mets dropped their first in the series against the Phillies. It was rough and it made us sad, but we’re talking about it. Taijuan Walker looked great until he exited with an injury. The Mets are off to a 3 and 0 start and we’re excited about it. Chris Bassitt made his Mets debut in Washington and pitched 6 shutout innings. Pete Alonso hit his first ever grand slam in a clutch spot. Starling Marte acknowledged our existence which fired us up and he got hit because the Mets get hit every night now. But because of that the Buck face was born. Just get up with everything. Throw out a Buck face. Oh yea and Bobby was there for it all tonight on the first base line!
