You’ve heard the phrase, “out of sight out of mind” and can probably think of countless examples of when this is true in your adult life. Think: the planner you said you’d fill out, those veggies in the back of the refrigerator, or the paperwork that has made its way to the bottom of the pile.

In order for kids to be successful at daily tasks, they need to have a prepared home environment. They need all materials that they need to complete each task entirely from start to finish AND they need those materials IN SIGHT. (Either literally in eyesight OR all together in a known space.)

I made the mistake of perfectly following the baby sleep experts for a few months of our first baby and let me tell you… it. was. torture.

That’s not to say the information they share is WRONG! No no. It’s very right. BUT, it might not ALLLLL suit your family and lifestyle.

This episode is all about taking those baby sleep rules and knowledge and making it fit your family’s needs and lifestyle.

I love following online motherhood influencers and educators. Before having babies of my own, and while I had my first baby, they were SUCH a help for learning all the things. BUT, there was a point where I just began to feel overwhelmed by the quantity of information I was taking in. I felt like an expert in sleep training, baby led weaning, all the right toys, etc. But I didn't want to be an expert in these things. I just wanted to have enough knowledge to do good for my babies. When I finally realized I had enough of the information, I figured out how to slow my consumption. Since then, I’ve really mastered my use of content consumption and learning new tools online which goes hand in hand with feeling more confident in myself as a mom. In this episode, I'm teaching you the 4 ways I consume online motherhood information and tools without getting overwhelmed.
