Satan rir media (Satan Rides the Media) is a 1999 Norwegian documentary by Torstein Grude. The film covers the controversy that surrounded black metal musician Varg Vikernes in the early 1990s, who not only has been tied to a series of church arsons in Norway, but received widespread media attention for the murder of Mayhem band member Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth.

Berserk, also known in Japan as Kenpū Denki Berserk, is a Japanese anime television series based on Kentaro Miura's manga series of the same name. The series was produced by Nippon Television and VAP, animated by Oriental Light and Magic and directed by Naohito Takahashi. It was broadcast for twenty-five episodes on Nippon TV from October 1997 to April 1998. Berserk was formerly licensed for English release in North America by Media Blasters, who lost the rights to the series in 2012. Berserk has been well-received, with critics praising its storytelling, characters, setting, and soundtrack by Susumu Hirasawa.

Heaven's Gate was an American UFO religious suicide cult based near San Diego, California. It was founded in 1974 and led by Marshall Applewhite (1931–1997) and Bonnie Nettles (1927–1985). On March 26, 1997, members of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department discovered the bodies of 39 members of the group in a house in the San Diego suburb of Rancho Santa Fe. They had participated in a mass suicide; specifically, a coordinated series of ritual suicides, in order to reach what they believed was an extraterrestrial spacecraft following Comet Hale–Bopp.
This documentary was created as a labor of love and dedicated to all those harmed by the mass suicide. The footage for this documentary has been tracked down over time from Heavens Gates self released footage, Marshall Applewhites "Do's Final Exit", original news coverage from 1997, tours of "The Monastery", interviews with first responders, and more.
This documentary exists as a not for profit but as a labor of love from it's editor and the voice of his generation, the incomparable Tape Eater.

Students Final Exit Statements is an independent feature length documentary about the Heaven's Gate mass suicide on March 19-20th of 1997 with their leader Marshall Applewhite AKA: "Do". In all 39 members of the Heavens Gate UFO cult committed suicide over the course of three days expecting to wake up in fresh bodies in a UFO hiding behind Hale-Bopp Commit.
