Where the Margin Ends is an explorative podcast that aims to understand the biases, boundaries and narratives we share about ourselves and others. Through our blog and podcast, we invite change-makers from across the globe to explore and uncover social norms and narratives.
Anthropologist Marina De Regt and artist Diala Brisly are among the passionate team that run the Lives in Perspectives project and online art exhibition. Through Lives in Perspective, they elucidate the lives, stories and dreams of those living in areas of conflict. Our podcast explores their findings and motivations from both the anthropological and artistic lens, before venturing into what these accounts mean for issues of gender, politics, and relationships.

After her critically acclaimed book Technically Wrong: Sexist Apps, Biased Algorithms, and Other Threats of Toxic Tech was released Sara became motivated by the bias she saw in Tech and Design companies. She began to focus on building a company centered around inclusive, intersectional, and courageous leadership practices. She sensed that "we couldn’t stop powerful companies’ biases and overreaches without enabling a diverse community of designers, engineers, etc. with the confidence and skills to push back and change the conversation in their companies." This Week's episode focus' on Eleanor Good, an anthropologist and educator's, experiences and perspectives as a transgender person. We should all be going into "gender introspection mode a little bit", she says. Questioning social norms and the way we view gender is so important.
