Scarlett Johansson, star of the latest Marvel movie “Black Widow,” filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Disney, alleging her contract was breached when the media company released the film on its Disney+ streaming service at the same time as its theatrical debut.

The suit claims that her agreement with Disney’s Marvel Entertainment guaranteed an exclusive theatrical release, and her salary was based in large part on the films performance at the Box Office.

This is a follow up to a recent episode about how Roc-A-Fella Records has sued its co-founder, Damon Dash, for allegedly trying to mint and sell the copyright ownership for Jay-Z’s 1996 debut album Reasonable Doubt as a non-fungible token. According to the complaint Dash had started the process of and began to promote the sell of an NFT of the Reasonable Doubt copyright at an auction on the platform SuperFarm, which was set to take place June 23rd through 25th. A judge has ruled in favor of Roc-A-Fella Records and prohibited Damon Dash from minting and selling Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt as a non-fungible token.

Jay-Z recently Auctioned off an NFT of the Cover Art for his 1996 Debut Album "Reasonable Doubt" as an NFT.
