This week, we open up to Acts 12, we will see a powerful rivalry between good and evil, Herod vs the Kingdom of God, God's glory vs Self Glory... We will see that no matter what happens.. Jesus will always win! We will see that prayer is a powerful weapon that helps us to stay focused on the one who deserved all the glory and that is Jesus! We will answer the questions "Where is your focus?" Is it on God or self?
Today, we will look at Acts 11:19-30 and we will talk about the gospel and Evangelism.
Answering the question: "How do we effectively share our faith and a paganistic society?"

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.—John 1:14
Incarnation was the miracle that saved us and is the model for our service. We may never be more like Jesus than when we are willing to be present for Him among those who’ve not had the chance to hear the good news. We are most in step with the Lord of the Harvest when we are willing to be—and to assure—the presence of His people among those who still need to hear.
In The Alliance, we value what we’ve come to call incarnational ministry. When peoples of the world today remain without gospel access among them, God wants to send some of His to go to them, be-come like them, and do among them what is need-ed for them to know Jesus and experience His love, mercy, and grace.
Jesus calls each of us to be His presence among those around us. The workers you send and support extend His presence by living and serving among the lost and overlooked in some of the most spiritually desolate areas of the world. And those of us who remain behind extend His presence in our communities, while sustaining our workers’ presence through our faithful prayers and generosity.

All this is possible because Christ came to bring light to a dark and lost world.
During these next four-weeks we will be looking at the Christmas story from the songs sung in the Gospels before, during, and after Jesus’s birth. These songs reveal the songwriters’ heart for the Messiah, the hope of the world; they will warm your heart, stir your soul, and challenge your worship! Today, we will be in week 1 of the series looking at the song that Mary sang when Elizabeth told her she was blessed. What will see is that Mary, in response to Elizabeth, magnified the Lord and worshipped His greatness!
Today we finish up our series in Hebrews as we look at the ending to the letter in Hebrews 13.
Everyone who makes a decision to follow Jesus enters into the race called the Christian Life, in which requires perseverance. In Hebrews 12, we will see what is needed to finish that race well and obtain the prize at the end, which is entrance into the kingdom of Jesus.
This week Pastor Mike looks at Hebrews 11 where we encounter what many would call the "Hall of Faith". It is a chapter that is filled with Heroes of the Christian Faith from the Bible. What we will find is what truth faith looks like, what it leads us to, and what perspective it causes us to have.

This week we take a look at Hebrews 9-10:18! The Cost of our salvation is found in the blood of Christ! We spend our lives doing things to try and cover up the bad in our lives, but covering it up doesn't change anything it just prolongs the decay.... Christ came to not cover it up, but fully transform us from the inside out!

As an Alliance Church, one of the things that we get to do annually is host a Missions Emphasis Weekend, which is a weekend where we host an International Worker/Missionary and get to be challenged with what God laid on their heart(s)! This year we hosted Jose Chinchilla and his family who serve in Berlin, Germany!

We find rest when we discover Jesus and His Power of Redemption and we enter that rest when we persistently find our identity in Christ.

"In the trials of life it is easy to get caught up in the hardships and lose sight of where we are at. The writer of Hebrews understands that and has strongly warned the Jewish people who are losing sight of their anchor. The most amazing thing is that we have an anchor who is strong and sturdy, because he understands what it means to be human!
In this message, Pastor Mike will be finishing our series on the Alliance's Four Fold Gospel and talking about Christ, Our Coming King, which is symbolized in the image of a crown.
As a C&MA Church, we believer that Christ will be returning.
The crown represents Christ’s royalty as the King of Kings. His coming will be a visible, personal appearance. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven (Mark 14:62).
We continue in our Series on the Fourfold Gospel and today we will hear about Christ Our Healer!
Many have accepted Jesus as Savior and are immediately indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but never experience the Fullness of the Spirit in their lives.. So how do Christ Followers experience the fullness of the Spirit? Today, we are going to talk about how to experience the fullness of the Spirit, and to keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26).
In order to experience the fullness of the Spirit, you must:

Acknowledge your need for him (Mathew 5:3)

Abandon Control and allow the Spirit to take over (Romans 8:6)

Accept the power that Jesus desires to give us (Gal 2:20)

Abide in Jesus (John 15:5)
We often focus on the immediate salvation of someone and usually do not focus on the after moments. Many are often left with "What's next?" questions like: Is there more to life then just asking Jesus to forgive my sins? Why do I continue to sin?
These questions are very important and the Bible speaks much about after the initial salvation.
This week we are going to start a two part series talking about the next fold of the Fourfold Gospel called Christ: Our Sanctifier. We invite you to take a listen to part 1 and come out next week for part 2!

The Living Stone and a Chosen People 4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”[b]
7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
“The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”[c]
8 and,
“A stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.”[d]
They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
