As one of the Teacher's of the Year, (TOY’s) from this past year, I had the privilege today in interviewing the TOY finalists for the Middle, Elementary and High school level teachers, to go along with Principal finalists as well.
Fresh off that experience, here are my reflections on how I will use this as fuel for the rest of the school year. I hope you can too!
As we near the end of the school year, and I for one wrap up an eventful year in my role as an educator, how can we pool our resources to gain more inclusivity with our students' parents and stakeholders!?
How do we sustain student excellence in our classrooms, why not through upperclassman mentoring?; at least that's my approach!
Why are we so divisive in education? What are the 3 building blocks toward success? We then begin to express what we can do to change what I perceive to be the negative state we're in.

Over the course of time, education has to adapt. Most certainly in coming out of the pandemic, we're faced with challenges in learning and how we address the shortcoming moving forward will require a total team effort.
With increased anxiety levels in the classroom and amongst our peers, how can we combat that for ourselves and our students!?
