I love to ride on my own. Left or right, fast or slow, stop or continue, it is only me. Perhaps the nicest thing about riding on my own is that it leaves me open to meeting someone new, and to meet someone new is wonderful. The most interesting people are right in front of me or even better, on the bike beside me. We meet at an intersection, climbing a hill or on a beautiful back road. A conversation begins, they something compelling, and I look over at them. But soon they go right, I go left, and whoosh, it ends. What happens if they don’t go right, I don’t go left, and it does not end is when Derailleur Podcast begins. The Derailleur is a device on a bike that changes gears, and this is the essence of Derailleur Podcast. Join me and we will ride out into the ordinary and Derail into the extraordinary.
