On this new episode of Hoops and Scoops : Rebecca, Liza, David, and Aaron analyze the first round of the NBA playoffs, as of June 1st. First, the much improved Bucks swept the Heat (Rebecca is still very sad) and the Celtics actually won a game against Brooklyn, yet there was the disrespect shown on the Leprechaun by Kyrie. Then, the Wizards pulled off a win on the Sixers after Embiid left with an injury in game 4, however, even if Embiid misses game 5, can the Wizards pull off another win? Then the last matchup in the east, the Knicks falling behind the Hawks 1-3, with the series going back to the Garden. What's going wrong with the Knicks, can they turn it around? Over in the west, the Grizzlies are showing their grit and effort against the Jazz, however, after winning game 1, they have lost 3 straight. Will the Grizzlies grab another game or will the Jazz close out the series? Then, one of the biggest games of the season, Lakers-Suns tied at 2-2, heading back to Phoenix, with Anthony Davis most likely out for game 5. Will the Suns grab the momentum and big victory or will Lebron take over to get the advantage in the series? Then, the Nuggets are tied with the Blazers at 2-2, will Dame get hot and power the Blazers to the win, or will Jokic show why he's most likely the MVP? Finally, after the Mavericks shocked the Clippers by winning two on the road in LA, the Clippers did the same thing with two big wins in Dallas. Luka has a neck injury that is effecting his game significantly, so can the Mavericks overcome that or will the Clippers start to get over their playoff woes? All this and more on Hoops & Scoops.
