I record my short stories, inspired by life and culture of Deccan plateau, India. These stories are reminders of a beautiful nostalgia and appreciation of mundane lives. All ordinary things have place in these stories. The characters of the stories are around us relatable, human, naive, strong, confused, yet exciting.

It so happened, when I was at my Nana's place and the neighbours had a Jasmine plant shooting up to their terrace. Many white shiny flowers were fallen on the ground. As I leaned to pick up the fallen Jasmine, few women sitting by the road waiting for an auto rikshaw laughed at me. And the rest was poetry.
A story of 13 yr old shakeel who is desperate to get his hands on shocking pink paper kite. The story is set in the age old arenas of Mehmood gawan madrasa, in Bidar, India.
