This is a little insight to my once marriage and when I realized it was build out of convenience.
When I first entered my marriage, as many of us do, I never thought I would be getting a divorce.
However, my whole marriage was built on convenience and the thing about convenience is that it is like a nice guy. It is looking for the fastest and easiest reward without doing any work.
So here are 8 signs you are in a relationship only for the convenience of having one.
You’re scared to be alone
You love your life with them more than you love them (should have been my first clue because I loved our life but felt lonely constantly)
There is always a not quite right feeling lingering
You’re more friends than lovers
Cheating doesn’t seem so bad ( for me this is always a no no)
You rather be alone than with them
They treat you poorly and you tolerate it because its just easier
They don’t add anything to your life. They don’t push you to be better and you don’t want to grow with them. <- I've said how important this is and will say it over and over.
