A killer is on the loose in the sleepy town of Stratton and seems the target is the Mayor, well those around him anyway. Murder, mystery, romance surround some of the residents in Stratton. Meet new characters every week, maybe you can figure out who the murderer is!
Now that Brian and Dubie have been rescued from the storm, they all can now focus on the festivities that are happening tonight in town, including the light of the tree. Sheriff Ratchet is hoping this will lure out the killer as the mayor makes his speech.
The killer who is calling him self the Grinch is starting to torment the mayor and even knows hes trapped in the cruiser but how? Bradley sets out in the storm to see what the light is while Sheriff Ratchet and Deputy Marks take a statement from Debbie. Who is BT?
Still in the cruiser that has gone off the road, meanwhile with the heavy snow storm that keeps dumping more snow, the search stops. A voice calls back on the radio, the murderer?
The mayor receives his first gift, yet it is nothing nice, as it seems he is on the naughty list, as it seems to be more of a warning then a set of tea towels he was hoping for. The weather is getting worse and now a woman from the clerks office goes missing.
Winter has come to Stratton with Christmas just around the corner. Ratchet has a suspect finally being held, yet they are not saying a word. The weather is causing havoc not only in town but for the Mayor as well. Is this case finally coming to a close or is there more?
The new judge is in town and the investigation is under way to find who the killer is and bring them in, finally. Director Winchester and her team are hot on the case, meanwhile Ryan and Gemma start off our next paranormal adventure.
The Governor has come to Stratton. Will he help the town or take complete control in effort to find the killer which now ties to him and could cost him everything. Looks like someone is looking to buy property in Stratton, would that be wise?
The Mayor did not have a great night at the ball at all. Now he is remembering everything that happened and some how still decides to head to work, or can he? Why is his car down the hill and smoking? Did it hit a tree?
With the ball over with, someone seems to be missing as Diego can't seem to find his mother. Was she as the ball? Maybe she's back at home. Meanwhile Brian finally faces the killer.
The night is finally here, Mayor Shepard prepares to open his doors for the Mayor's Spring Ball. Everyone is invited, does that mean the killer as well? Of course something goes wrong and someone ends up wandering off.
Everyone is gearing up for the ball! Yet first they have to attend church service with Father Stan. Jack reveals why he is in Stratton. Is someone lurking in the shadows again?
Meeting Director Valerie Winchester proves a name, yet not the one of the killer. Brian holds off Diego going to print. Of course the wind ends up blowing in someone else.
Someone forgot to tell Brian there was a ball, Jordan might be in the hot seat if plans do not go acording to plan. Meanwhile soomeone has a big mouth, Diago ends up at the right place at the right time. Anita is attending the ball.
Dutches's sister arrives, early. Everyone is noticing that things have changed in town, however Alice might have found hope for the town, if it's still happening. No one has died. Or....uh oh.
Welcome back to Stratton County were if you stay too long or your friends with the mayor, you'll end up dead. Well we return to the sleepy and dying town as Brian returns from an escape vacation with Jordan, only to find things are returning to normal, the dying normal.
The storm is here. In this final chapter Alice seems to be the next guest to stay at Jordan’s. Getting ready for a fantastic meal emotions fly and true feelings are revealed. Will everything go smoothly, or are there more guests coming for dinner? Uninvited mind you.
Another storm? Cooped up at Jordan’s with Cam. They now have to get ready for another storm which means they would be stuck. Maybe a turkey dinner will ease the tension.
It’s back to Jordan’s after what happened in town. Things are not looking good for the mayor and poor Cam is stuck in the thick of it. Will the Sheriff be able to track down the killer? Will Jordan be able to protect his new love? Question’s and more question’s.
Another body? Boy, it seems no is safe in Stratton, which Cam is finding out. This has to be a direct attack on the Mayor, who now is seeing things? Or is that really a shadow?
Well more funerals are in order and now there’s one for Bucky. The sheriff is still out of town, so after the funeral shots ring out in town. What’s going on now?
Jordan figures lunch in town would be a great distraction after Brian looking sad gathered some things from the mansion. Brian can’t seem to find his wallet, heads to the bank. Where he’s given his wallet by the bank president?
Alice is getting weird vibes from the strange couple in town, the same couple the Mayor pointed out to Jordan. The deputy is now in charge as the sheriff is going out of town. Anything going to happen?
Diago is trying to get the next edition of paper out, which he wants to include the story about the body he saw. After reaching the station for answers, only to be turned away with little to no information. What’s the sheriff hiding? Who was in the morgue?
Brian is whisked away to Jordan’s farm for a tour and meets the horses while he helps Jordan entertain Gemma and guests for the night, yet Brian knows the mysterious woman and can’t figure out from where.
Snow is falling hard, an accident on the pass has two people dead and it seems Brian might be stuck at the cottage, that is until the good doctor comes to the rescue.
The snowstorm is on its way and already causing issues on the mountain pass. The maids car is found, yet who took it and why is the mystery man taking pictures of the mayor?
Brian is lead to identify a body. Is it Prudence his maid? Now her car has been stolen from the crime scene. A winter storm is coming in which will blanket the town in even more issues. A doctor in town?
Diago goes snooping as there is activity at the police station in the middle of the night. Trying to find out he goes off to take pictures, yet was stopped. Why is Brian going to view a body? Who is the new guy in town?
Who’s foot is sticking out of the ground that Shep and Rhonda stumbled upon while on a hot date? Why in the world would there be ringing coming from inside the Brian’s cottage yet have no land line? Stratton is about to be flipped upside down!
Investigation says arson, but who? Now everyone wants to know is why? Missing maid, a struggle? Meanwhile, Shep gets frisky with Rhonda, yet this night out ends up anything but romantic.

Diego is dead set on finding out what happened at the mayor's mansion, with an interview looming between the two, now it seems Brian has no choice but to stay at his rental until it's safe to return home, that and the investigation was on going. Someone might be after Brian.
Alice's day comes to a close as the fire that happened over night is on everyone's mind. What happened to the mayors kitchen? And who is calling and hanging up?
