Grab a 🖊 and 📔 paper cuz I've got some journalling for you! Consider this a mini-coaching session with me, Estelle.

As this is the last episode of ABL, I thought this would be the perfect topic to talk about. And it just so happens to be one that I'm REALLY GOOD at talking about. Trisha and I are going our separate ways podcast wise. We have loved our time together, but have realized that it's not serving us anymore and are ready to take ourselves to new heights.

Everything you do in life, aside from the non-essentials, are choices. But even within the essentials lie choices. You need to eat. But what do you eat? That is your choice. Life is full of them. Your choices create you and reflect you. And life happens so quickly that it's expected to have things make their way in that don't serve you anymore or that never served you period. They hold you back from creating and living a life you truly love. They hold you back from becoming YOU.

In this episode I walk you through a journalling exercise to help you identify your choices, what's serving you, what's not, and what it's robbing you of in your life. My hope is that this exercise (along with a heart-wrenching personal story that I share) will inspire you to let go, move on, and become. You are waiting.

Do you find yourself saying "Sorry" a lot more than you would like? Are you a people pleaser, or maybe have a difficult time accepting compliments?

Topics you can expect in this episode:

  • Humility vs pride

  • Walking through challenges

Have you ever found yourself in an unhealthy, toxic relationship time and time again where you've had to "tiptoe or "walk on eggshells" around someone? It's not fun, but often times you may not even realize you're having to do that until you've either stepped away from that relationship, or someone else has made you aware of it. In this episode, Trisha talks to life coach, Marie Cook, about how to recognize and overcome narcissistic relationships so you can live a happier and healthier life. Not only does Marie teach you red flags to look out for, she offers her thoughts on how to best protect yourself right now and gives future steps you can take to prevent that seemingly never-ending cycle of toxic relationships.

Marie is a diversity of thought advocate who is passionate about helping people live authentically. As a survivor of narcissistic abuse, she has made it her mission to shed light on narcissism in society and in relationships. She is a military wife, a mama bear, and host of The Cook Coterie Podcast.
