That is one person losing their life every 40 seconds.
In this episode of the Sideline, I spoke to Colette Hogan on her battle with depression and mental health.
Depression is defined as a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.
There are a number of factors that can cause depression or lead to an increase
Abuse, Certain medications, Death or loss, Genetics, Major events, or other personal problems.

In this episode of the sideline i speak to Abi Lloyd who was spiked on a night out with friends last year. As a result of been spiked Abi hit her head and was diagnosed with a swelling on her brain, and was told that here body was dying with a 80% chance she would not make it until Easter.
Remarkably on March 10th 2020 Abi was informed that the swelling was gone and that she was going to survive, a year on since that night i spoke to Abi over Zoom as she tells me her story.
