Higher Knowledge: Recent Episodes

Chase Weliever

Higher Knowledge hosted by Chase Weliever is all about the seeking of a higher form of knowledge. I hope to accomplish this by researching and discussing topics that I feel are not discussed by more common forms of media. These topics will include spirituality, occultism, naturopathy, philosophy, ancient mythology, social issues, and many other similar concepts. I would describe myself as a student to all of these concepts, and really the whole purpose of this podcast is to encourage myself to dive deeper into topics that I find interesting, and to share what I learn with anyone who is willing to listen. All are welcome here, and I hope you enjoy. :)

Hello everyone, chase here and in this episode I'm wrapping up the conversation on brainwaves. I talk all about brainwave entrainment with a little section about neurofeedback thrown in at the end. In this conversation, I discuss the well know binaural beats and how they can be utilized for changing your dominate brainwaves. I also discuss many other types of brainwave entrainment including monaural beats, isochronic tones, photic stimulation, electromagnetic brainwave entrainment and more.

This conversation also includes an introduction to the Monroe Institute and how they used binaural beats to induce out of body experiences using their Hemi Sync technology in their Gateway Experience audio tapes. I know it sounds crazy but even the CIA was interested in the Gateway Experience and they've recently released articles discussing the process in depth. I have some of these articles linked below in a google doc for anyone interested.

Finally, at the end of this episode I talk about neurofeedback and how it can be used to manage imbalanced brainwave patterns. I will also include some links to more resources to learn about neurofeedback for those who find it interesting.

I put a ton of work into researching this one, I think that this stuff is really interesting and I definitely learned a lot myself. Hope you guys enjoy :)

Hellllloooo everyone, In this episode I talk all about mysticism and all that it entails from a beginners perspective. Let me tell it there is A LOT to talk about with this topic, so I narrowed it down as best as I could. This was definitely one of the ones I wanted to talk about earlier on because its such an important topic. I talk about the mystical experience and what it might be like to have one. I talk pretty in-depth about the greco-roman mystery schools such as the Eleusinian mysteries and the Dionysian mysteries and their connection to mysticism. I also discuss mystical traditions and give some examples of what makes them mystical. This was a hefty one to research, but I am very glad that I did because I learned a lot about this topic that I did not know before. I'm happy to be able to share what I learned with anyone who wants to listen! Hope you enjoy! :)
