3- A $2 Million Legacy The late Will Dwyer had a dream to raise two million dollars for the Terry Fox Foundation to help eradicate cancer. Firefighters at Base Borden and others are now on a quest to make Dwyer's dream come true. MJ caught up with Robert (Will Dwyer's son) and firefighter Jason Youngen to get details about their walk this weekend in support of the cause.

3- Speed Cameras Are Coming To Barrie Last year, 5,600 speeding tickets were issued in Barrie, and the police could have enforced more with additional officers. 5. 37th Anniversary of the BIG Barrie Tornado
May 31st, 1985 ... 37 years ago.
A brief but devastating F4 tornado barged through east and central Barrie. Its wind topped out at 300 kilometres an hour. Eight people in Barrie were among the 12 people killed – A hundred million dollars damage was done – 800 people were left homeless.
What have we learned since?

6. Barrie Councillor Mike McCann Talk Finances Of The Love Barrie SignNo denying the "Love Barrie" sign on the waterfront has been popular since it was installed ...
It seems to always have groups of people, families, gathered there taking pictures.
But while it has generated interest, it has also generated controversy over the money raised over and above the cost of the sign.
How much is leftover, and what it will be used for?
City council has indicated it's not happy with the financial statement that has been presented and is seeking outside legal advice on what it can do about it. It is also rethinking its policy on funds raised in this manner.
For the record, the city says it has not fielded any questions or concerns from the public, or donors to the sign, about the leftover money or how it will be spent.

2. Gussapalooza's emerging artist winners The Human DriveJosh and Nick from the band The Human Drive won the grand prize at the recent Gussapalooza music festival in Cookstown. 3. Barrie's Jiu Jitsu Star Lee KitajewBarrie's Lee Kitajew has been involved in one way or another with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for several years, having competed in a number of tournaments and most recently his first professional match. MJ sat down for a chat about the sport and his involvement.
4. A Plentiful Thanksgiving For The Barrie Food BankIt was a plentiful Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Barrie Food Bank ... and it needed to be. With an influx of new people in need Barrie 360's Will Konken gets caught up with Barrie Food Bank executive Director Sharon Palmer. As successful as the Thanksgiving Food Drive was, help is always needed. Food donations can be dropped off at most grocery stores or at the Food Bank on Anne Street. 4. New Horror Film Filmed In Actual Haunted House
There's a new horror film being released in some markets this weekend. The film is called Savannah Haunting. It was filmed in an actual haunted house which made for some interesting times for the cast. They experienced some hauntings while they were filming. MJ gets the ghoulish details from one of them

2. A Warm Fall Ahead of Us?He nailed the summer forecast ... sunny and warm for the most part with no long stretches of extreme heat.
So with Fall upon us, we reached out again to Environment Canada's David Phillips for his forecast for the next three months as we bridge the gap between summer and winter.
3. Funding For Barrie's Women and Children's shelterBarrie's Women and Children's shelter was hit hard by the pandemic. Unable to fundraise while more women and mothers were seeking help. Now, the shelter is still feeling the strain but is getting some financial help from Shoppers Drug mart.
