Likely not but we will still watch 2024's "War of the Ninja Monsters: Jaron vs Goura"
We take a look at a theatrically released truncation of an anime hit, as the latest manga adaptation flies off the page and into film in a short time frame. Will this movie be enough to get audiences interested in the characters and universe of the show or is it too much left on the cutting room floor? Once more we escape our straight jackets inside the Asylum for another mockbuster, but one that perhaps is our last one for the podcast. Can a sequel without a godzilla rip-off succeed to ape a movie with little Big G in the first place? Can the terrible script make a semblance of sense when read by the overpaid actors? Can Cthulhu by another name end the world and grab our attention? We will see this week as we load up this film on Tubi, for this is 2024's "Ape x Mecha Ape: New World Order"
We get another extension of the Mosnterverse this week with the 5th official film entry into the Titanic series. Can a more vibrantly colored and Kong heavy story swing through theaters to box office glory, or will this Showa era excursion into the center of the earth land flat on its face? The Monsterverse continues on the streaming screen as we get a prequel to the King of the Monsters and a look back at the creation of the Monarch organization. Can a more human-centric story survive in a universe dominated by giant kaiju battles?
