Tidbits Of Triumph: Recent Episodes

I am Lyle Humphrey. God has given me the opportunity to study and teach Scripture. I have found many "Tidbits", or "Aha" information that gives "Triumph" to the Scriptures. The Scriptures come alive for the reader.
In order to fully appreciate end time prophecies, we must understand our sin and need for salvation. God chose us before the foundation of the world; we must also choose Him. In the end time, our fate is determined by our choice, salvation in Christ, or death by sin.
The book of Job tells of the time that Job is tested by the devil, and at the end of the testing, God challenges him of his wisdom. In doing so, God retraces much of the creation days and details in a very unique way. I hope you enjoy this fun episode.
In His Image answers the Why question, Why did God make this world in such a specific way? It was to have fellowship with man; one of His (God's) own kind. God made this world for man to enjoy, and He made man after His own image.
This episode focuses on days 4, 5, 6, with the emphasis of "after his own kind" and answers the "Why" question of why God chose to create this world in such a manner, and how it relates to the study of science. But this episode stops just short of the creation of mankind . . . to be seen in the next episode.
Genesis opens with the statement that God is the Creator and that the earth was created without any form and empty. The first three days of creation mark a 24-hour day and show that nothing was actually created, but shaped, designed by God and thus setting the laws of science in order. God was on scene, and described a detailed picture of creation.
To begin the study in Genesis, we will see the truth in the literal creation, and the myth behind evolution and the gap theories. We will see that "science" proves creation, and it also proves that evolution could not have been possible.
Genesis has "Types", pictures of another truth in the future. These types are in organized sets. This intro explains types and the three sets in the book of Genesis. This episode also begins the first set, "The Heart Of God For Mankind".
