This is a show about our growing Aus DeFi community and the people and projects behind it all. We'll learn about what got them into Web3, DeFi, NFTs and more and there will also be news and opinions on the growth of blockchain technology across a variety of industries.
Episode 25 of our Community Show is with Sidney Powell, CEO and co-founder of on chain capital markets platform, Maple Finance.
In this extended interview, we deep dive into Maple Finance - a decentralised credit market for institutional borrowers and lenders. Sidney takes us on the Maple journey from issuing over $2bn of under-collateralised loans at its peak, to navigating the Luna/ Celcius/ FTX collapse last year.
He discusses the shift from under-collateralised to collateralised loans, the benefits of tokenising real world assets and Maple’s vision for the future of institutional lending.

Welcome to Episode 2 of our new series, "Only Projects". In this episode we chat with Chris Sinclair about Customer Experience and how it's important for projects. We learn that it's all about experiences, different approaches for understanding your customer journeys and that its not just external clients that projects should be mindful about. Chris also plays an important role the Aus DeFi Association in that he has been integral with gettin our audio visual setup for meetups, events and podcasts. He's also a member of the venture studio, NotCentralised which we heard about in Episode 1 and this time the tables are reversed with Mark from that team taking on interviewer duties.
