This is the Stewardship In All Things podcast. A podcast dedicated to helping Christians see the power of the Gospel through everyday nuances of life and how it not only makes us a new creation, but also gives us new life as we strive to do all things, in word and deed, as if done to and for Christ. In a time where nothing seems authentic, we must be trusted. At every turn, stress ensues and panic rises, we must be focused. As the world seems to be falling apart, we must fulfill the great commission. We have been given more than we deserve, so we must exercise our gratitude with action.Today - we choose the good and faithful work of being good stewards in all things.
Failure is inevitable, but embracing it is a choice that we get to make. Does the Bible discuss failure? Are there examples of failure in the bible? How does The Lord look at failure? As we have looked at perfectionism and how we can care more about ourselves as we strive to love our neighbors, today I want to discuss embracing our failures when we are met with them. I hope this is encouraging and allows you to think differently about failure and frees you from the bondage that it creates and potentially can create.

The topic of Self-Love can be viewed as a terribly negative topic from a Christian perspective. However, viewing Self-Love from a different perspective can prove to do us and those around us well. My hope is to discuss how we view this, ways we can alter our perspective, and practical steps towards applying this new perspective of Self-Love in every day life.

In a social media world, it is especially easy to get swept away into the tide of wanting to be perfect. Whether its having a perfect family, being financially perfect, or even developing a persona that portrays a sinless life. Today the discussion is around Perfectionism and how we can work towards understanding it, what are some of the symptoms, and how we can use God's Word to overcome it.

Today I am joined by someone who has been incredibly instrumental to not only my faith, but to the way I live life through the lens of my faith. Chrys Jones is a man of many hats as he is a Husband to his wonderful wife Kim, a father to 4 beautiful little girls, a health coach for Wild Health and a Christian Hip Hop recording artist and producer for ChristCentric Records. He is a man of many accomplishments and as humble as they come.

Today we are simply breaking down the topic of Perfectionism a little more. It is a topic that may not need to be nuanced too much, but our desire is to let everyone know that we all struggle with this in some degree or another and that our perfectionism will only die when we allow ourselves to have the freedom in Christ to know that we will fail. I hope this conversation is beneficial and empowers you to pursue all things, in word and deed, as if done to and for Christ.
