Caleb talks to us about the practical aspect of what it took to train this rookie team for “nowhere land North Carolina” and take them to place top-100 in the world.

What’s attracting people to you?
What does “Legacy Leadership” have anything to do with it?
This week, we sought out to connect the last few episodes where we spoke with Claudia Wyatt, Carol Williams, Avi Abrams, and Summer Watson. We explored the importance of finding the hidden strength that hides in what seems to be your weakness, we explored how to find the light within the chaos rather than waiting for the end of the tunnel, we explored finding creative solutions to respond to events beyond our control, and we explored how all this ties into being a person that attracts people into a community.
Your hardships are your blessings.
It’s all a matter of perspective.
Check out this episode…
What about a community makes it so appealing for people to continue being part of it?
I’ve been part of so many communities.
In my teenage and early adulthood years, I used to work for an organization that would send me to take part in various new branches that were being established under its umbrella.
I’ve seen so many communities start up and fail.
The burning question that always was (and still is on my mind), is “why”? What about these communities makes them fail or succeed?
This episode we sit down with Summer Watson.
Summer is a doctorate in psychology and speaks a lot on the topic of leadership, mentorship, and its connection to community formation.
It’s been a fascinating discussion.
Let’s hear…

4. Who are the typical people this message resonates with?

Running any business can be really challenging.
What about building a business and no matter what you do, circumstances beyond your control take you down?
This is the discussion we had this week with Avi Abrams.
Avi found his passion in Tour Guiding. It was born out of his faith and love for his country. He even found an extraordinary niche within his market which is so unique and of high value and impact.
However, due to world events and political climates that his business finds itself in, Avi constantly is faced with constant changes and pivots.

The story of the Jewish People didn't start in 1948 AD. It started in 1948 AC (After Creation)!
I've always known it since childhood, but learning about the long and great story of my people and teaching it to others has been the calling of my life.
As a tour guide in Israel, I take people to streets, buildings, and palaces that were walked on by Jewish kings and prophets. In today's world of propaganda and misinformation, much of humanity believes Jews have no historical connection to the land of Israel, but nothing could be further from the truth!
For the most part, Evangelical Christians, and anyone who appreciates the Bible, Jewish history, and ancient archaeology.

Avi Abrams Bio:
Avi is a licensed Tour Guide in Israel. Originally from Montreal, Canada, he has a double major B.A. in Political Science and Middle East Studies from McGill University. As the VP of Hillel in Montreal, Avi was involved in Jewish educational projects and Israel activism.
Avi made Aliyah (immigrated to Israel) in 2012 to pursue his passion in telling the story of the Jewish People as a licensed tour guide. Since 2015, he has been guiding families and groups all over Israel with tailor made tours designed to fit the needs of each individual persona. So many of us go through hardships, some more significant than others.
When sharing those hardships with others, as caring as those others are, sometimes their advice isn’t as great.
For example, when I went through my challenges a few years back, I kept hearing over and over again that “there’s light at the end of the tunnel”. As wonderful as that advice or comfort may be, it’s anything but comforting.
I am going through a difficulty right now. It hurts now. I’m not interested in what is at the end of the tunnel.
I’m sure there’s a lot to say about the wisdom of the “end of the tunnel” - but my question is, how about during the chaos? Can we find any light there?
In this episode, we speak to Carol Williams and explore this topic. Can we find light within the chaos? Can we live a fulfilling life even during the hardship?
Show Recap:
The Message and Mission of the Beacon of Light Center is to light the light of the world. We are all meant to share our gifts and together, we illuminate the world that we know.
Today, I am the only one in the Center.
My mission is to support overburdened Soloist Women who yearn to do their Great Life’s Work in the World….without sacrificing everything else.
After being self employed as a coach and speaker since 2009, while simultaneously raising my boys as a single mom, I got burned out and exhausted when my father fell in 2023. My coaching practice and life was full, and everything fell apart with this fall. I took time out in early 2024: the first time in my entire working life (since 1984) I have ever done this. I decided it was time to dial into what meant so much to me NOW after these years of success.
When I reflected on the people I loved working with, AND made a big impact, and then they went on to make a big impact, I determined it was these people: married Soloist Women in their 50s and 60s who had hit a ceiling; a plateau. They were working SO hard for so little money and they felt exhausted, burned out, and like they could not do it anymore…they were about to throw in the towel on their businesses. It was just too hard.
It’s women Soloists, often but not always coaches, who yearn to do their Great Life’s Work. It seems SO hard though. Everyone needs them, and it just does not stop. Their health is declining, and they brush it off because let’s face it, they are doing the best they can right now. Another interesting and somewhat odd commonality is that they all seemed to have a dirty little secret (generally about their money) that they hid from the world, and/or from their husbands.
My first mentors were Melinda Cohan and Kate Steinbacher. Then I migrated to others and I’m just completing some time with Rich Litvin. I really love Michael Bungay Stanier. I also draw inspiration from the woods and from rivers and from dancing.
Carol Williams Bio:
As a solo business owner, Certified Business and Life Coach, and single mom, she knows what it's like to prioritize and pivot while building a life she loves. So after working in the design professions for 18 years, Carol struck out on her own in 2009, combining her passion for psychology and her project management experience.
Carol powerfully supports scattered entrepreneurs so they can live their lives AND have the business they dream about.
Carol plays in the outdoors near her home in Sutton, New Hampshire, and indoors through art, design, and dancing.
Feel welcome to connect with Carol through her LinkedIn Facebook, Facebook group, or Website to learn more.
We have heard so many times people advising us to focus less on our weaknesses and focus more on our strengths.
As wonderful and as great as that advice is…
What if, your weakness is actually your superpower?
During my own self-discovery in my leadership journey, I often wondered whether my weakness is actually the other side of the same coin as my strengths.
I’ve seen so many similarities between my weaknesses and strengths.
That is when I met Claudia…
In this episode, we are exploring how you can actually turn what is seemingly your weakness into what is actually your superpower.

What seemed to be a problem - turned out to be her superpower.
Wow! How transformative.
What is your weakness that can be transformed into a superpower?

When was the last time you thought about your clients/your people?
Here are the secrets of gaining highly loyal return customers…
It’s no secret.
It’s more of a science.
When we connect deeply with others - they will respond in kind.
Think about it.
When you talk to someone - do you feel deeply connected with them, or do you think there is some form of disconnect?
Well, wouldn’t that depend on who you are talking to?
Did you ever realize how with some people you connect deeply, while with others you don’t?
With those who you do, it almost feels like it’s deep in your soul.
What causes that attraction?
That’s what this episode is all about.
We explore how to truly and deeply connect with the people we lead and serve.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show…
How many times have we learned or heard about the importance of finding our true and deep “Why”?
Simon Sinek is well known for his phenomenal book “Start With Why”. Richard Weylman takes this topic a step further and in his phenomenal book “The Power of Why” Weylman talks about how your “Why” connects with the people you are trying to influence.
This episode we are exploring how this “why” connects with your leadership.
Marc W. Halpert is a LinkedIn expert, his specialty is in showing you how you can be “amazing-er” in how you show up. What I personally love most about his approach, is the idea of storytelling and posts that connect who you are at your core with the audience that potentially will read your content.
The reason why it’s so important to connect with your audience on this level is because, as Marc puts it, people fall in love with your message and who you are.
Is your “Why” relatable and do the people who follow you connect with that “why”?
Let’s explore that in this week’s episode.
Show Recap:
1. What is your message that you share with the world?
You need to be amazing-er than your competition by telling "why you do what you do," using LinkedIn to tell how your past shows who you are today and your present indicates your future prospects. Not factoids of what you did, as on a resume.
2. How did you discover this message?
Too many professionals were taught from a young age not to talk about themselves. That fear has become an inbred reluctance to be real, personal, and open about how we rise above the mediocre. I had to overcome this too, and found I could talk about myself far better than others could about me, and adapt my message according to my stage of development as a professional and to address the audience's interests.
3. What about this message is so near-and-dear to your heart?
I coach others to be "amazing-er" and eclipse the competition, this but requires constant work to be memorable as a relevant, reliable and referable colleague. My joy is to teach others and watch their expression when they give themselves permission to tell their why for the first time.
4. Who are the typical people this message resonates with?
Professional practitioners, baby boomers, under-employed, new and seasoned entrepreneurs.
5. Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Within, because my early role models mostly took the common denominator/easy way out and that was not good enough for me.

Just as we need to nourish our bodies and soul so that we can be healthy, the same is true in business.
We need to work on our inner-self-leadership so that we can show up as the best version and best leader in our organization.
This fact is true whether you are an organization of 1 or 1000 or hundreds of thousands. How you lead from within, is how you will show up to your team/s. Your teams will emulate you and your behavior.
This is what we are exploring in this week’s episode.
Rasie is a Self-Leadership expert who specializes in looking within first - Rasie believes that when we are honest with ourselves and look ourselves in the mirror to constantly “check in” with ourselves and ask “How am I showing up?” that is when we develop and grow to the type of leader that most people want to be influenced by.
If you are a leader that people are inspired by, what do you think that will do to your business? To your reputation? To your legacy?
If this peaks your curiosity, this episode is one you won’t want to miss. Come get inspired, hop on to the episode, and have a listen…

There’s a silver lining to these sad realizations.
Sorry - only one spoiler alert per post.
Join us in this recap episode of The Exceptionally Irresistible Show and let’s talk about tapping into our inner legacy.
We are talking about what we can do today that will leave a lasting impact on those we come in contact with. It’s the response we give to our grandchild when they ask us “what we did with our lives”.
It’s the reputation we leave behind way beyond our physical time on earth. It is our little dent that we leave here.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show…
As a leader how much impact do you have on those you lead?
This question isn’t just for employers
It really starts much earlier than that. It begins with how we are educated from a very young age. Our educators are our very first leaders and they play a major role in our success in life.
In this episode, Brenda discusses and shares with us some fascinating insights on how she works with educators to create an environment that is conducive to the long-term success of the children and young adults they are educating. Brenda strongly believes that educating our children and giving them a good environment where they can thrive and learn, this will directly impact their lives forever.
Brenda even wrote a book on this topic ;)
This conversation was absolutely fascinating,
Here, have a listen…
Show Recap:
Helping Leaders establish a plan to help everyone feel good and feel safe. As an individual from the world of education, I have focused on working to ensure creating an environment and culture where this exists. However, it is more than having it for a short period of the day, but learning how to gain the skills to achieve making these two rules happen in every part of your life. Working with home, school and community we can change what this can be.
Through my life journey and professional career. As a child my parents were not educated. I experienced in third grade a situation which made me not feel good or feel safe at school. I carried this feeling until I met teachers in high school who became the trusted adults I needed to help me overcome. Then as I worked in education I practiced many of the tools, strategies and resources discussed in the book to reach the blueprint I provide for success in achieving.
Children are the most important part of our world. It is important to me for all children to have their needs met, to feel good and to feel safe. Education is something we do with children, not to them. Our society is a reflection of what we have allowed to happen. It will take all of us, home-school-community, to work together to find true results.
Those who are eager for solutions to problems they see with safety and over-all wellness in the lives of others. People who are interested in working for positive changes.
My inspiration comes from the echoes of the voices of the children I have served, those who continue to reach out to me, my daily devotions and knowing feeling good and feeling safe is part of Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. When you look at what he suggests, you can clearly see, all of those needs can easily be narrowed to these Two Rules.
Brenda Yoho Bio:
With over two decades of experience as an educator in various school settings, Brenda has cultivated a profound philosophy of education known as Two Rules. This philosophy serves as a foundation for fostering building-wide support for the social-emotional learning and mental health needs of students. Since her retirement from formal education, Brenda’s commitment to educational advancement has not wavered. She has found a meaningful role as a mentor and coach with the Illinois Principals Association, where she guides and supports aspiring and early-career educators. How can I inspire my employees to be passionately loyal?
This question isn’t just for employers
This is a question that anyone in business today should (or at least would benefit from) ask themselves.
Why?
Because whether we lead a team, or we are a solo-entrepreneur, we depend on people doing business with us and working with us. In a world with access to just about anyone, the competition is tough. We are no longer in a time where just because you have a certain profession that’s why I’ll do business with you. We’re in a generation that seeks the relationship and experience of working with you.
In this episode, Shlomo discusses and shares with us some fascinating insights on how he works with employers and talent to find something they are passionate about and how to align our dreams, ambitions, desires, needs etc. We touched upon aligning the dreams together and working in unison to achieve a greater goal and vision.
This conversation was absolutely fascinating,

What is the one thing most Salespeople struggle with?
It’s objection.
How do we overcome that objection is the discussion we just had with Jeff West.
It’s a fascinating discussion because Jeff shows us how overcoming objections is actually easier than it seems when we actually put the other person’s needs and interested first and when we’re entirely focused on delivering high levels of value and impact to the people we are serving.

Fusion Points™: Engage the Science of Persistence:
There is a science... an actual neurological process... that occurs in the brain with each and every decision we make. There are no exceptions. When we work with that science, instead of in opposition to it, we can influence how some very important decisions are made.
We can influence how a prospect decides to listen to our initial offer instead of saying no thanks.
We can influence how that prospect then makes the decision to become our customer and eventual walking ambassador.
We can influence how our salespeople and support staff make the decision to persist in their careers and stay with out company.
And in our personal pursuits, we can influence how we decide to become tenacious and persist.
Through my research in trying to understand why salespeople make the decision to quit. It led me to the works of the neuroscientist, Dr. Antonio Damasio.
The turnover in commission sales positions is too high. But when organizations understand that it doesn't have to be that way, and then choose to act this knowledge, the world changes for those sales professionals and their families.
Anyone leading a team... especially in sales. Small business owners. Entrepreneurs. Sales Professionals.
My faith, and my daughters.

Welcome to our brand new show called The Exceptionally Irresistible Show This is episode "0" as it's the introduction and welcome episode - in which we will discuss what to expect from our show and how our show is so different than anything else you may be used to. Here are some highlights: Each episode is about 20 mins long If you enjoyed the episode, we will invite you to a live show where we invite special guests to chat about the topic we discussed in each episode.
