Through the history of christianity doubt and the lack of assurance has been a common and sometimes agonizing struggle for believers. Theres nothing worst than not knowing if our sins are truly forgiven and if the Lord's promises apply to us. Our goal is to utilize scripture to establish or strengthen their faith so that they can have the full assurance of faith.
In today's episode Nick dives into various passages to reveal the message that was preached to unbelievers by the early church and contrasts this to the message we often hear today. The scriptures tell us that "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the words of Christ." We'll also discuss the content of various messages delivered in the scriptures.
The first step to assurance that we are saved is first coming to a complete understanding of what salvation actually means and what we've been saved from. In this episode Nick will discuss the nature of salvation.
