In this episode of The Authenticated Life Podcast, I'm thrilled to welcome back a special guest—Nannette Foster—for our first-ever return visit. Our conversation centers around the vital theme of trusting oneself, a topic that resonates deeply with many of us, especially in our spiritual journeys.
Together, we explore what it truly means to trust yourself, especially as women of faith. It’s easy to talk about trusting God—but what about trusting the voice He placed inside of you?
We picked back up on themes from Nannette’s last visit, where we unpacked the power of story. This time, we go deeper into the often-overlooked spiritual necessity of self-trust. We talk about how certain scriptures and religious teachings have shaped our suspicion of our own hearts, and how to gently unlearn that distrust.
Nannette shares parts of her own powerful story—growing up in a Christian cult—and how that early conditioning taught her to question her own inner voice. She sheds light on why so many of us, especially in faith spaces, feel the need to outsource our discernment and second-guess our intuition.
Plus, Nannette introduces us to her beautiful new community, Intuitive Daughters of God, and shares about her upcoming book Intuitive by Design, now available for pre-order.
This conversation will stir your spirit, challenge your thinking, and hopefully, call you closer to the powerful truth that you were never designed to distrust yourself. God made you intuitive—on purpose.

In this episode of The Authenticated Life, Sharon Roshell invites listeners to explore the profound relationship we have with silence. In a world filled with constant noise—from podcasts to social media—she emphasizes the importance of pausing and reflecting on what silence means.
Sharon shares her personal journey of rediscovering the power of silence, particularly during moments of solitude. Silence can be both healing and hurtful, depending on how we engage with it. She discusses how silence serves as a mirror, revealing truths we've ignored, pain we've buried, and the purpose we may have overlooked.
Throughout the episode, Sharon emphasizes the importance of intentional stillness. She encourages listeners to carve out time for silence, whether through journaling or simply sitting with their thoughts. This practice can lead to clarity, inspiration, and a deeper connection with one's God-given identity.
The episode also delves into the dynamics of silence in relationships with others. Sharon challenges listeners to consider how they use silence—whether as a tool for healing or as a means of avoidance. Healthy silence fosters peace and reflection, while harmful silence can manipulate and disconnect. She shares insights on how to cultivate a healthy partnership with silence, both within oneself and in interactions with others.
As the episode wraps up, Sharon reminds listeners that the answers they seek are already within them. All it takes is a moment of silence to allow those insights to rise to the surface. She invites everyone to embrace silence as a sacred space where the soul can truly speak.
Listeners are encouraged to take a moment this week to go on "silent mode." Sharon urges them to make peace with silence and partner with it, allowing it to guide them toward their purpose.

In Episode 23 of The Authenticated Life podcast, host Sharon Roshell shares five compelling reasons why women should attend her upcoming one-day retreat, Authenticated, taking place on Saturday, June 14th, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. More than just another women’s event, Authenticated is described as a divine setup—designed for those who sense in their spirit that there’s more to discover in life.
She begins by reassuring listeners that feeling lost is often a sign of being led by God. According to Sharon, God holds a precise plan for every season, and this retreat will be an intentional space to slow down, realign with His heartbeat, and gain clarity for the journey ahead.
She goes on to address the longing for deeper inspiration. This isn’t about surface-level motivation, she explains—it’s about encountering the version of yourself that lives in God’s heart. The retreat offers a safe, sacred space where women can explore their deepest questions, wounds, and dreams among a community of like-minded seekers.
Sharon also underscores that now is the time to live on purpose. Many women are constantly pouring into others, but this retreat is an opportunity to be poured into. Authenticated is positioned as a launch pad for women to gain clarity, confidence, and courage—equipping them with a metaphorical passport to step into their next level of fulfillment.
Another reason Sharon gives is that attending this retreat may very well be an answered prayer. For anyone who has ever felt the need for “more” in life, she believes Authenticated could be the divinely timed experience they’ve been waiting for—no matter where they are on their personal journey.
Lastly, Sharon expresses her heartfelt desire for women to be there—whether they’re friends, family, or someone she’s met online. Her passion is for every attendee to feel seen, valued, and reminded of their inherent worth. She also shares that a powerful A-team of Explorers will join her, including a Prophetic Insight Explorer who will offer personal encouragement throughout the day.
As the episode wraps up, Sharon encourages listeners to check out a promo for the retreat and to register if the message resonates with them. She emphasizes the importance of taking action and not talking oneself out of this opportunity. She concludes by reminding everyone to mark their calendars for June 14th and to visit BeFullAndFilled.com to secure their event passport. In true Sharon Roshell fashion, she even offers an “authenticity guarantee”—promising a refund to anyone who leaves feeling unfulfilled.
This episode is a heartfelt call to transformation, and Sharon invites everyone to join her in standing tall, living fully, and stepping boldly into purpose.

In this episode of The Authenticated Life, Sharon Roshell dives deep into the transformative journey of embracing wholeness and authenticity. At the start of the year, she made a powerful declaration over her life: “fully visible.” This marked a significant shift from living partially hidden to fully embracing her true self. Sharon shares a poignant moment of self-reflection—looking in the mirror and feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude—realizing that she is healed, and that this journey is not just about healing but about returning to wholeness.
She addresses a common misconception that seeking guidance or coaching implies brokenness. Instead, she emphasizes that working with a coach or mentor is about remembering who one truly is and aligning with their authentic self. Drawing on biblical references—particularly the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17—Sharon illustrates the difference between being healed and being made whole. While healing addresses dis-ease, wholeness is about returning to the original self, free from trauma and misalignment.
Through a personal story about her grandfather, Sharon highlights the resilience and vision that can emerge from challenging beginnings. Both he and a friend’s grandfather overcame significant obstacles, demonstrating that the past does not dictate the future. She encourages listeners to reflect on their own narratives and consider what they might be holding onto that prevents them from stepping into their full potential.
Sharon also guides listeners through a reflective exercise, inviting them to sit in front of a mirror and observe their thoughts and feelings. This practice is framed as data collection from the soul—an opportunity to confront internal misalignments. She encourages writing down three statements of alignment to counter any negative self-talk, reinforcing the truth that they are not broken but in the process of remembering who they are.
As the episode wraps, Sharon invites listeners to join her for her upcoming one-day retreat, Authenticated, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. There, participants will explore the layers of their souls and breathe more deeply into their lives. She expresses gratitude for the continued support and feedback from her audience, encouraging them to share this journey of wholeness with others.

Recording from beautiful Mexico, she reflects on her personal journey toward optimal health and the internal struggles she faced along the way.
She opens the episode by sharing a powerful message from John 10:10, where Jesus speaks about the abundant life He offers. Sharon challenges listeners to consider whether they are truly experiencing this abundance in every area of their lives. With honesty and vulnerability, she discusses her past feelings of dissatisfaction—despite being productive and accomplished—and how she realized she had been settling for less than she deserved, particularly in the area of health.
Throughout the episode, Sharon emphasizes the importance of seeking help and not carrying burdens alone. She shares how she connected with three incredible coaches—whom she affectionately calls her “three kings”—who each played a significant role in her health journey:
Sharon stresses that investing in oneself is essential for growth and fulfillment. She shares how her journey has already led to noticeable improvements in her health, including better sleep, clearer skin, and increased energy, even though she’s still progressing toward her goals.
As the episode concludes, Sharon encourages listeners to identify their own struggles and seek out their “king”—someone who can offer support, accountability, and guidance along the way. Her message is clear: you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Now is the time to take action and invest in your growth.

In this 20th episode of The Authenticated Life podcast, Sharon Roshell explores the proof of purpose, revealing how life’s experiences—both good and bad—serve as undeniable evidence of the unique calling within each person.
She begins with a powerful insight: the biggest challenges and greatest joys in life are not coincidences—they are clues pointing toward purpose.
Throughout the episode, Sharon emphasizes that purpose is not something to be chased—it is something already possessed. She recalls a conversation with a woman in her late 60s who expressed uncertainty about her purpose, illustrating how many people struggle to put their purpose into words, not realizing it has been with them all along.
Using a childhood memory of collecting Kool-Aid proof of purchase labels, Sharon draws a compelling parallel: just as those labels were proof that something valuable belonged to her, life experiences serve as proof of purpose, leading to fulfillment.
She then challenges listeners to examine their worst experiences—moments of pain, criticism, or rejection—and recognize them as indicators of their greatest assignments. Drawing from her own childhood, she reflects on the moments when she felt most authentically herself yet received the harshest criticism. She shares how statements like "You just want to be seen," and "You talk too much," initially led her to dim her light—until she realized that those very critiques confirmed her purpose as a voice meant to be heard.
Sharon also flips the narrative, highlighting how greatest moments—those times when a person feels most alive and aligned—are equally proof of purpose. She shares a deeply personal story about starting a girls' club in elementary school with only four members and five-cent weekly dues. Though small at the time, this early leadership experience reflected a deeper calling—one that has since evolved into her work with women through the Authenticated retreat.
As the episode concludes, Sharon encourages listeners to reflect on the evidence of purpose in their own lives:
With a powerful reminder that purpose is not a final destination but an evolving journey, Sharon inspires her audience to recognize the proof already in their hands and step boldly into their God-given identities.

Hey, Hey! It's Sharon Rochelle, have you ever experienced a day where it seemed like out of the blue, you ran smack dab into a moment that you knew God has set up for you? It’s like all of a sudden, you knew without a shadow of a doubt the Father's eyes were on you.
Typically, when we encounter moments like that, it was exactly what we needed. Like he was “massaging” your heart in the right spot. Or as I like to say, “a heart massage!”
I first used that phrase while I was sharing God’s heart with someone a few weeks ago. As soon as it came out of my mouth I knew it was from Him! I am officially coining that term for the T.A.L. Community and I hope today’s conversation is a “heart massage” for you!
Welcome back to another episode of The Authenticated life! As you may know, this season is all about the voice. One essential part about owning, finding, or sharing your voice lies in the power of your testimony. When most believers hear the word “testimony” their mind automatically goes to a story about God saving someone from drugs or alcohol abuse.
While these stories are incredible and God truly is faithful to pull us out of the darkest days, your story and testimony don’t have to include addiction or anything along those lines. Rather, God wants to redeem and use every part of your story. Even the parts that seem small or insignificant to you! That’s how intentional he is about your day-to-day life.
How intentional are YOU when it comes to your story? Owning and telling your story in a way that helps others is way easier said than done. It may be difficult at first, but the more you share what God has done in your world the more you can truly live T.A.L.!
Our guest today is Nannette Foster and she dives straight into what she has learned along her journey of powerfully navigating the details of her story and how she learned to release it! From giving God a straight-up “no!” when He asked her to speak up, to know being transformed by her own testimony. By the end of this episode, you will know exactly what steps you can take and how you can start telling your story in a powerful way!

Hey hey! Sharon here welcoming you back to another episode of The Authenticated Life! Today we are continuing on our journey to highlighting your voice. Yes, you read that right..highlighting YOUR voice! Whether you need to discover your voice, start releasing your voice, or start owning it at a new level, this season is committed to you and your voice! Each episode should feel like your next clue in the epic treasure hunt of uncovering what God has created you to release. Joining me today in the Life Room, holding your next clue is Michelle Curtis-Bailey! Michelle is a Development and higher education strategist cultivating personal responsibility, Her vision is to activate a generation to be in radical pursuit of their assignment, cultivating personal responsibility, and strategizing industry influence all while being a whole person in the process. She is internationally known and has been featured in us news world report, Huffington post-Washington, post NerdWallet, and so so more.
She is an incredible woman, and clearly, her professional life is impressive. However, what really makes Michelle a powerhouse is the personal development work she has put in behind the scenes! Growing up, Michelle believed she didn’t have much to say and was more thoughtful in nature. Like most introspective young girls, she took up journaling at the age of 14. She has consistently documented her life and her thoughts from then until now. Basically, she has a living and ongoing document about her, her life, and the steps she took to become successful!
Three years ago as she found herself reading through a stack of old diaries she realized that maybe she did have a voice and maybe “having a voice” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s audible, a voice could be written too! Jesus said, “my sheep hear my voice and I know them. They follow me.”
If you read that again and let it sink in a little more, you start to realize exactly how important a voice can be and how distinct God made each of our voices to be. When I think about the voice, I think about sound and the vibrations that are released into the atmosphere through our words. There are many different types of voices, and no two are alike on earth. Different types of textures, tones, accents, and more can alter the sound of a voice. However, that's really the physical usage of the voice, but then I start to think a little bit deeper.
Today I want to talk about the internal voice. You know, that voice on the inside that needs to be heard. That internal voice is the sound that is released from your life, and that speaks the language of certain individuals. They know your voice, and you know theirs. That’s the type of sound that can set the captives free! But first, you have to know what you are listening for.
Recognizing your sound is a key ingredient to living T.A.L., that is why I am so excited to introduce you to someone who has made it their life's mission to help others “own their difference” by helping them find their true identity. If that sounds like your cup of tea, hit play now to meet Rachel Jenks!
With more than 22 years of experience working in public communications, graphic design, business and branding services, and more, she knows exactly what it takes to build a successful brand in both life and business. In other words, she knows how to help others express the fullest and most authentic version of themself!
Now, before you say, “wait, what if I don’t need a brand?” just trust me. Within 10 minutes, Rachel shares the question that changed her life forever and how she discovered that if she wanted to make an impact in the world, she needed to take the “brand of her” to the next level.
Learn how Rachel builds a trustworthy brand, how you can discover your identity, what brain science says about living authentically, why your voice matters, how the Father designed you to stand out, and so much more! This conversation is so empowering and uplifting that you will probably have to listen twice to soak it all in. To connect with me or learn more about Rachel, scroll down to see more links!

Hey Hey Hey! Welcome back to The Authenticated Life. Yes, we are back and I can not be more excited to be with you again!
First things first, I have to say that I missed you! Seriously, I have missed sharing with you and just doing life with you. I was so humbled by the messages I got from so many of you asking “Hey, where did you go!?” and “I miss The Authenticated Life!” If you were worried, turn that frown upside down! I have not walked away and I am officially back.
After some much-needed rest, I decided to regroup and refocus on what matters. During my time away, God has been speaking to me so much about “sharing my voice.” Honestly, this was intriguing to me because I have always felt like I am a person who shares my voice. If you have been around me for even a little bit you know that I have multiple CDs, I am a worship leader at our church, and I obviously love to talk because I have this show! LOL
So what does God really mean when it comes to sharing our voice? That’s just one topic we are going to dive into in the next several episodes! We are going to go on a journey together on exploring the voice. I'm not sure where you are in your life and as it pertains to your voice and what is on the inside of you, but I know God is getting you ready for something big. You might be in a place of discovering your voice, owning it, or releasing it. Whatever stage you are in, I want to take this journey with you.
Today’s episode is just a quick hello and check-in, in the next episode, the real fun begins! I am excited and honored to link arms with you to explore all things VOICE. For more recourses to help you live TAL check out the links below.
