I had my share of battle scars in this volatile arena and after reflecting I saw God's guidance through the book of Jonah. This is a glimpse of my story and my time away from people and ministry. How does Jonah connect with the second gen experience in church? Tune in to find out!

As we continue our series on Habakkuk, we see him dumbfounded to God's solution to the situation. We are often disorientated when it comes to following God when we are faced with situations where our faith doesn't line up with our reality.

Often we move forward without a clear sense of the goal and thus we may get a lot of things done but ultimately miss the valuable destination we had in mind when we first started.
The goal of discipleship is surprisingly simple but often missed but let's dive right in.

This is the last episode of our first series in 2022! I tend to read this book periodically over my life because of it's ability to impart new truths and challenges as I age and find myself in different seasons.
This is one of those books where it can lead to extreme applications or conclusions so I highly recommend reading it in a group to bounce off ideas.

Today we ask a question, "What is love?" Love is a tricky area filled with anxiety, confusion, and more often times than not, abuse or misrepresentation. Love is a fundamental NEED in what we call the human life and it starts with the restoration of our connection with God who is the very essence of love!

Compassion connects human beings to one another but for the Christian, compassion is more than developing a connection with one another but is part of sharing the Gospel of connecting people closer to God! Today we talk a bit about compassion and how it serves to help us spread the Gospel.

We start the first ever book review with a timeless classic on revival and it is written in such a way where it calls out the lifestyle that is not in alignment with the Kingdom of God. It's a strong book to start the series with but I think we all need that encouraging call out to wake us up into action.

Things are lost or prolonged in transition because we may not have a clue on how to transition well or know that we are in one! But today we talk about the fundamental posture we will need to get through any season well.

Today we talk about turning our pain into praise through Hannah's prayer in 1 Samuel. When it comes to healing, we talk about three postures necessary to nurture people who are in pain as we try to shift into praise!

A season good or bad is lost without eternity taking note.
A life without God is the ultimate absurdity we are tempted to buy into.

This episode was a little more personal for me as I felt an urge to speak about hope to the body of Christ and the revival of this generation for the Kingdom. It's tough out there but I pray for an awakening to happen and history to be written!

Our emotional maturity is often revealed when we have to interact with our families during the holiday seasons. In this episode, I reflect on my emotional maturity that was exposed and how a heart of thanksgiving helps us to walk in rhythm with the will of God.

Evergreen trees get their name from the ability to stay green in any season and situation. Whereas other trees lose their leaves due to weather and depletion of soil nutrients, evergreens have found a way to persist.
