This week in my kitchen, I’m joined by Gemma Colao, the founder of the CBD brand OTO. Gemma’s journey with CBD began during her time in the fast-paced, high-stress fashion industry, where incorporating CBD into her daily routine brought significant improvements to her sleep, skin, and overall well-being. When she couldn’t find a brand that she truly connected with or felt confident recommending to her friends and family, OTO was born.
OTO is a wellness brand that seamlessly integrates CBD into a wide range of products, including skincare, oils, drinks, and balms, ensuring that every aspect of wellness is covered. Notably, OTO is one of the pioneers in incorporating CBD into skincare, an ingredient that has shown remarkable benefits in balancing the skin—whether you’re dealing with menopause or managing stress. Since the skin is our largest organ, maintaining its balance is key to looking and feeling your best.
I gained incredible insights into the power of CBD during this episode, and I’m sure you will too!

This week in my kitchen, I am joined by Sarah Carolides, an incredible nutritionist and the Head of Nutrition at Zooki, a brand specialising in high-quality supplements designed for quick and efficient absorption by the body.
In this episode, I wanted to discuss with Sarah why we need supplements when our grandparents didn't, why it's challenging to get all nutrients from food alone, and how to choose the right supplements and trustworthy brands.
With so much information out there about vitamins, collagen, fish oils, and magnesium, it can become confusing and overwhelming. So, I decided it was time to break it down into manageable pieces and understand what we truly need and why.
Besides supplements, Sarah and I also explore which foods offer outstanding health benefits.
If you're like me and always striving to be the best version of yourself, this episode is for you.

In my kitchen this week, I am joined by Ella Cooper, Co-Founder of Wylde, an online farmers market that connects you with locally sourced produce! If you, like me, are always on the hunt for fish from UK waters, truly organic eggs, or ethically sourced meat, then this episode is perfect for you.
In this episode, we explore Ella's journey from being 100% vegan—an approach that ultimately harmed her health—to her decision to reintroduce wild-caught fish into her diet. Her difficulty in finding sustainable fish led to the creation of Wylde, a venture she started with her Co-Founder Nick.
Wylde is a remarkable online farmers' market that uses technology to connect farmers, growers, fishermen, hunters, and foragers, delivering the freshest produce directly to your door. We discuss Wylde's mission, the importance of eating seasonally, locally, and ethically, and the challenges of making such choices.
This episode highlights the best in fresh eating, and if you believe in the significance of your food's origins, this service—and this episode—is for you!

This week in my kitchen, I am joined by Madeleine Shaw, a Nutritionist, Yoga Instructor, and Holistic Health Professional who has spent a decade in the wellness industry. Madeleine's journey began in Sydney, where she grew tired of dealing with IBS and sought the help of a naturopath. The naturopath recommended a complete dietary overhaul, including more wholefoods, fruits, vegetables, and increased protein intake. Motivated by her improved energy and well-being, Madeleine started documenting her progress on her food blog, MadeleineShaw.com, to share her discoveries with others. This led to a successful career as an Influencer with 262K followers and the author of several Sunday Times Best Selling Cookbooks.
In this episode, I aim to delve into Madeleine's 10-year journey in the wellness space, exploring how the industry has evolved and how she has grown along with it. We also discuss the various health and wellness trends that have come and gone, and what true health means amidst a world of conflicting and misleading information.
Finally, I took the opportunity to ask Madeleine some pressing nutrition questions from both myself and the community. This episode provides an insightful look into the reality of wellness and features one of the original Instagram Influencers who started before the term "influencer" even existed.

This week in my kitchen, I'm joined by Lewis Moody, a former England rugby player, to discuss what it takes to excel both on the pitch and in life. Lewis has had an illustrious career, representing his country, winning World Cups, and turning his passion into a lifelong pursuit. However, upon retiring from rugby, he realised he needed to find a new passion for the next chapter of his life.
After transitioning from having coaches in all areas of his life to none, Lewis recognised the crucial role a coach plays. He decided to become a life coach and mentor, helping others achieve their goals. Lewis emphasises that while we might think we can succeed alone, having a coach is essential for providing feedback and guidance.
During his rugby career, Lewis also battled a chronic bowel condition called Ulcerative Colitis. Despite being told he would need lifelong medication, Lewis turned to the power of food. By completely overhauling his diet, he managed to heal his gut and eliminate his reliance on medication. Today, he lives symptom-free, thanks to his dietary changes.
In addition, Lewis founded the Lewis Moody Foundation, which raises money for those affected by brain tumours. In this episode, we discuss the importance of brain health and highlight how brain cancer, despite its prevalence, receives the least amount of cancer funding.
This episode is packed with insights on achieving high performance in both sports and life.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by the gorgeous Yasmin to talk about her brand KODO, all things clean beauty and the power of fragrance when it comes to wellness, creating a moment or bringing back a memory.
While we all strive to improve our well-being through diet, exercise, and sleep, we often overlook the impact of the fragrances and creams we apply to our bodies and spray in our homes. The ingredients in these products can significantly affect our wellness and hormones
Yasmin, a fragrance enthusiast, noticed a gap in the market for home fragrances and clean beauty. She founded KODO to fill this void. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of KODO, where people gather to appreciate the art of incense, Yasmin aims to instil this same appreciation for fragrance. She encourages incorporating KODO into wellness routines, highlighting the health benefits of its clean ingredients and power to evoke memories of your favourite foodie moments.

This week in my kitchen, I'm joined by Howey, the head of coffee at Grind, to delve into the art of making delicious coffee and explore the secrets behind Grind's success.
Grind began as an independent coffee shop in Shoreditch in 2011, known for its flat whites, great music, and vibrant atmosphere. It has since evolved into a much larger brand, with products now available in Tesco, Waitrose, and on Amazon, bringing that unique Shoreditch coffee shop experience to homes across the UK.
Coffee, much like wine, is more than just a beverage; it's a culture, a lifestyle, and an art form. In this episode, we celebrate all that coffee embodies. I also get the chance to address some pressing questions and debunk myths, such as whether coffee contains mould and if oat milk is really as bad as some say.

UNTIL identified a gap in the market, providing health and wellness professionals not only with a premier location and state-of-the-art facilities but also with a supportive community, tools, and guidance to help them grow and expand their businesses.
I sat down with Dan to discuss his journey to founding UNTIL, the other businesses he has started along the way, and how he brought the concept of UNTIL to life. We also delved into the future of the wellness industry, emerging trends, and what we can expect moving forward.

This week, I am thrilled to welcome Stef Sword Williams into my kitchen. She is the founder of the remarkable book "F*ck Being Humble," where she advocates for the importance of effective self-promotion and challenges the notion that modesty is always the best policy.
In the UK, we are known for self-deprecating, often downplaying our successes and mocking our achievements. This mindset isn't healthy! We tend to believe that we can only celebrate ourselves when others do so first, and that putting ourselves down will make others feel better. However, to reach our goals and be recognised, we need to learn how to self-promote.
Stef Sword Williams launched "F*ck Being Humble" in 2018 out of frustration with the conventional approach to self-development and the missed opportunities that came from not speaking up.
I remember attending an event where Stef spoke about self-development, and I thought, "I have to get her on the podcast." And now, here we are!

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Will Pearson the Co-Founder of Ocean Bottle where we have a big discussion about the extent of the ocean's plastic pollution issue, what we are currently doing to reduce the amount of plastic going into our oceans and what more can be done!
Will is interested in combining entrepreneurship with social and environmental impact. He’s appeared on the Forbes 30 under 30 list and was named one of Norway’s Top 10 Leaders under 30 for his work towards sustainable development goals. After his engineering degree, William spent a year working at sea in the Indian Ocean, where he experienced first hand the effects of pollution on the ocean, and decided to pursue a career in environmental impact and business.
Ocean Bottle is a social impact brand first and, reusable bottle brand second. On a mission to prevent 7 billion plastic bottles in weight from entering the ocean by 2025, Ocean Bottle enables companies and individuals to have a global impact on stopping ocean plastic.
Its core product, the world’s most impactful reusable bottle, funds collection of 1000 ocean-bound plastic bottles in weight for every purchase. Ocean Bottle products stop ocean-bound plastic at the largest sources, setting up long-term infrastructure for plastic collection and supporting livelihoods in coastal communities worst affected.
Ocean Bottle has recently launched new ventures based on its impact platform Ocean Co which offers customers full traceability of funding. Ocean Bottle gives over 15% of its revenue to impact and has so far prevented 14,164,500kg of ocean-bound plastic, equivalent to 1 billion plastic bottles from reaching the ocean.

In my kitchen this week I am joined with Sarita the co-founder of Amilis Fertility. Amilis is a one-stop shop for all things egg freezing, they refer to themselves as the best-friend that holds your hand throughout the process, guiding individuals to the right clinic and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. Sarita's personal fertility journey inspired her to establish Amilis, recognising the lack of knowledge and support she experienced during her own successful but challenging egg-freezing process.
In the past two years, there has been a remarkable 250% increase in egg-freezing rates, reflecting a significant demand driven by shifts in lifestyle and society. Factors such as expanded career opportunities and a desire to explore life before starting a family contribute to this trend. This prompted my conversation with Sarita, where I delved into the intricacies of egg freezing: its procedures, associated risks, costs, and the misconception of guaranteed parenthood. The episode didn't just explore egg freezing but also delved into fertility concerns for both men and women, making it a truly enlightening discussion.

This week in my kitchen, I'm joined by Julius Cowdrey for a conversation on mental health, addressing the growing issue of loneliness, and finding our safe space, whether it's through coaching or community support.
Julius, known for his stint on Made In Chelsea, delves into his personal journey, from his involvement in music and television to his current partnership with his twin brother in creating a platform that aids individuals seeking self-improvement but lacking the means for one-on-one coaching or specialised assistance.
We all encounter moments of self-doubt, insecurity, and adversity, but it's our resilience and strategies for overcoming them that truly shape our character. Julius opens up about his own challenges and the tools he's acquired to navigate through them.
While mental health awareness has gained significant traction, the prevalence of loneliness continues to rise. Despite our interconnectedness through social media, there's a profound sense of disconnection. Julius and I delve into these dynamics and explore various related topics in depth.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Georgia Aldridge the Co-Founder of Sloane House Marketing which is a dynamic social media agency helping you grow your brand. As well as the agency Georgia has now opened up a studio where brands can use Georgia and her team to create their content as well as help with the strategy around sharing it.
In this episode Georgia shares her journey to founding Sloane House from barely making it through school to hopping from job to job with no real direction, to then finding her niche and doubling down on it.
Given the universal goal of online growth, I delve into key marketing enquiries with Georgia that are likely on the minds of many seeking to expand their presence online.
As this podcast primarily focuses on food, health, and wellness, I enquire about Georgia's interpretation of wellness. Her response diverges from the conventional, emphasising the pursuit of activities that bring her a sense of well-being and happiness, such as travel and freedom.
This episode delves into the concept of lifestyle design, highlighting the possibility of achieving one's desired lifestyle but acknowledging that it often entails making sacrifices along the journey.
Considering that we dedicate a significant portion of our lives to work, it begs the question: why invest time in something that doesn't bring happiness?

In my kitchen this week I am joined by the Co-Founders of Hunter and Gather Jeff and Amy. Together, we delve into the fascinating journey behind their rapidly expanding brand and explore the principles of the ancestral lifestyle.
Hunter and Gather is a company dedicated to real foods, initially gaining traction with their avocado oil-based mayonnaise containing only five wholesome ingredients. Since then, they've expanded their offerings to include a range of condiments, dressings, sauces, and supplements. Their core belief is that the key to guiding individuals towards optimal health and well-being lies in providing them with access to quality products.
The inception of Hunter and Gather stemmed from Jeff and Amy's personal food struggles. When seeking clean condiments to enhance their meals, they discovered a gap in the market. This realisation fuelled their mission to create products that align with their ethos of clean, natural ingredients.
At the heart of their brand philosophy lies the concept of the Ancestral Lifestyle—a return to basics, prioritising nature over the industrialised processes prevalent in modern society. In this episode, Jeff and Amy delve deeper into the principles of the ancestral diet, shedding light on how the proliferation of processed foods is contributing to widespread health issues and chronic illnesses.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by the Glow Up Queen Izzy Utterson to talk about going back to the basics and making small changes in order to glow within. Izzy shares her personal transformation journey, transitioning from a period of struggles including binge eating and drinking, to finding happiness and self-improvement. She emphasizes that major transformations don't necessarily require extreme measures like juice cleanses or boot camps, but rather consist of making consistent, manageable changes on a regular basis, gradually leading towards desired goals.
In addition to Izzy's story, we explore the concept of "glowing up," highlighting its deeper significance beyond mere aesthetics. By focusing on personal growth at a fundamental level, one naturally undergoes aesthetic transformations as well.
Interestingly, we all possess knowledge of leading a healthy lifestyle, yet the real challenge lies in putting that knowledge into practice. In this episode, we delve into this struggle and other related topics, including:

This week in the kitchen I am joined by Co-Founder of Bio&Me Jon Walsh.
Bio&Me is dedicated to promoting gut health and believes in the importance of dietary diversity. From granolas to porridge pots, their goal is to incorporate a wide variety of plants into every product. Founded by Jon Walsh and Dr. Megan Rossi, Bio&Me boasts a formidable team. With Jon's extensive experience in the food industry, having worked with renowned brands like Nestle, Procter and Gamble, and John West, coupled with Dr. Megan's background in science and nutrition, they possess the ideal skillset to revolutionize the market and raise awareness about the significance of gut health.
Recently, there has been increasing attention on gut health, which is fantastic considering its crucial role in overall well-being. Some even liken the gut to a "second brain" due to its influence on various aspects of our functioning and emotions. However, Bio&Me has been advocating for this long before it became a trend. Therefore, I wanted to speak with Jon about the journey of Bio&Me, its origins, and whether the heightened awareness of gut health is positively or negatively impacting the industry.
What's particularly refreshing about Jon's perspective is that he doesn't come from a scientific or nutritional background. Instead, he discusses gut health in straightforward terms, avoiding complex health terminology that can often be confusing and overwhelming. This episode is a fantastic way of understanding ways in which you can support your gut health as well as understanding why it is important that we all do so.

This week I am joined in my kitchen by Melissa Tattam for another conversation about all things food health and wellness and what Melissa does at home to live a healthy life and feel the best version of her.
If you don't know Melissa she is the co-host of the podcast Wednesdays which she hosts with her best friend Sophie Habboo and every week they go through girlie dilemma's that get sent in. She is also known for her time on the reality TV show Made In Chelsea.
Melissa's ethos is that she wants to do everything she can at home to be non-toxic, nutritious and clean to then be able to enjoy herself guilt-free when she goes out. In this episode as well as discussing a healthy diet and lifestyle, we also touch on balance and what that looks like for Melissa. I think it is very easy to only hear about what we shouldn't do and what we need to remove from our diets to be healthier but I think balance is also important and treating yourself to what you love is all about living the life you enjoy!
Melissa's knowledge comes from a place of passion and curiosity, she is not a nutritionist or a professional in this field but instead, she is eager to learn and also be proven wrong.
You guys loved the last one and so we are back for more, so in this episode, we discuss the following topics:

This week in my kitchen I am joined by Natasha Thomas Co-Founder of Lockdown Liquor the premium bottled cocktail company based in London which completely took our Lockdowns by storm. Natasha and her husband Jack came up with the initiative whilst sat at home during Lockdown that they could create bottled cocktails that all you needed to do was shake and pour to have a delicious drink, with all the proceeds going to the NHS. With virtual socialising on the rise and many tired of squeezing endless limes for homemade margaritas, their bottles quickly became sought-after, signalling to Tash and Jack that they were onto something special.
Lockdown Liquor then made the transition from business-to-consumer (B2C) to business-to-business (B2B), shifting its focus from helping consumers enjoy their Friday nights at home to assisting the hospitality industry in providing premium cocktails during busy evenings, particularly when short-staffed. This pivot significantly altered the landscape. Lockdown Liquor values itself on using premium ingredients to ensure a premium experience so whether you are on a plane, train, bar or at home, you should never have a bad cocktail again.
In this episode, I delve into Tash's journey with Lockdown Liquor and the unique experience of launching a business during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, I explore Tash's role as the founder of another venture, Total Management Group, an events management company, discussing how she manages both businesses alongside her responsibilities as a mother. Finally, we explore the strategic decision to prioritize trade over direct-to-consumer sales and the resulting opportunities it has generated.

In my kitchen this week I am honoured to be joined by Leebo Freeman who is an American-Brit born in Florida but raised in Manchester. Leebo has had an impressive career as an international model, having walked for renowned brands like Vivienne Westwood and Chanel. Additionally, he's ventured into acting and music, currently focusing on music production. With over 15 years in the arts, I sat down with Leebo to discuss the challenges and pressures of maintaining a certain aesthetic as an international model.
Beyond his artistic pursuits, Leebo is deeply invested in his health and wellness journey, constantly exploring new ways to optimise his well-being. Transitioning from dabbling with a plant-based diet, Leebo now embraces an animal-based or ancestral diet, centred around meat and raw dairy.
In this episode, we delve into Leebo's lifestyle and dietary choices during his modelling career and contrast them with his current lifestyle and diet. We explore the differences and how they impact his overall well-being.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Leah Chowdry who has made history by being the first British Asian Woman to ever swim the channel and she completed it in 14 hours and 44 minutes. Leah believes she was put on this earth to make a change and after a transformative experience in India, where she encountered the harsh reality of young girls subjected to exploitation and abuse, she was determined to effect change and break the cycle of suffering.
Upon returning home, Leah realised that no other British Asian Woman had swam the channel and this therefore motivated her decision to take it on as her next challenge. Leah's endeavour wasn't without its challenges, as she tirelessly raised £105,000 to support her cause. In this episode, Leah candidly shares the rigorous mental and physical preparations required and how surprisingly, it wasn't the physical demands of the swim that proved the hardest, but rather the mental strength needed to shift from a mindset of doubt to one of unwavering determination.
Leah's journey has been documented in her children's book, "Making a Splash," where she imparts the message that determination knows no bounds. Additionally, Leah has transitioned into a motivational speaker, collaborating with businesses and entrepreneurs to foster motivation and self-belief.
This episode is a testament to the power of mental resilience, embracing a can-do attitude, and conquering obstacles through sheer determination.

This week in my kitchen, I'm joined by Emily Champion, the Founder of the Champ Agency, a digital marketing agency. However, many of you may recognise her more as a content creator. Emily consistently shares her authentic self on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, taking us along on her journey of skin and gut health, as well as sharing travelling content, fashion, makeup and a lot more.
More recently, she decided to get her boobs done, documenting the entire process from decision-making to recovery on TikTok. These candid and open videos went viral as people were eager to get a behind-the-scenes look at a procedure many women contemplate.
Emily's transparency online is highly appreciated, and I was thrilled to have her in the kitchen to explore more about her health journey. While Emily's experiences are relatable, many of us struggle with the next steps to overcome similar issues. Hopefully, this episode will assist you in taking that next step and guide you on where to find the help you need.

This week in my kitchen, we're joined by Milo McCloud, a fitness content creator and the Founder of Revive, a community centred around Hyrox. In this episode, I aimed to delve into the fundamentals with Milo, discussing his journey from school to university, his venture into entrepreneurship, and his evolution into a full-time content creator. Milo recounts his diverse experiences, from harbouring dreams of becoming a professional skier to ultimately dropping out of Exeter University, where he was pursuing sports science, in favour of heading to London and starting his career. But it is the lessons that you learn throughout all these experiences that prepare you for where you are today.
Throughout this episode, Milo shares insights into his physical transformation, from the initial desire to change his appearance to accomplish the remarkable feat of participating in both a bodybuilding competition and a marathon on the same day...insane I know.
But, such achievements come with a price—the pressure individuals impose on themselves or that society, particularly through social media, exerts to conform to certain standards of appearance and performance, potentially causing harm.
This was an amazing episode where Milo reveals the truths behind working in the fitness industry. But also it underscores the power of cultivating small habits and maintaining discipline, illustrating that one can attain anything with a determined mindset.

This week in my kitchen I am joined by Dr. Rhona Eskander one of the world's top dentists, Co-Founder of PÄRLA and a formidable female role model for many. While our discussion touches on subjects like dental care, oral hygiene, and PÄRLA, my primary motivation for talking to Rhona was to explore her journey leading up to her current position and to delve into how being a woman may have influenced or posed challenges along the way. Along this path, she has also ventured into the modelling industry and made appearances on prominent UK shows such as This Morning and Loose Women. Rhona has openly addressed aspects of her personal journey, including her relationship with herself, body confidence, and the concept of "pretty privilege" on various podcasts and social media platforms. These are the specific topics I aim to delve into more comprehensively in this episode.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Alex Griffiths Co-Founder of Roam a revolutionary sexual health brand that introduces innovation, sustainability, and confidence to the sexual wellness industry. I was so excited to have this conversation with Alex as I when thinking of topics I wanted to discuss on the podcast this year I realised that no one ever talks about sexual health enough when it is actually intrinsically linked to health and wellness.
Both Alex and his co-founder Ben grew weary of the industry's monotonous dominance by a single brand, Durex. Recognising the absence of a contemporary sexual health brand attuned to people's wants, needs, and desires in the market, they made the decision to fill that void.
Roam is boldly challenging the sexual health landscape by introducing genuine innovation to the market, which is truly exhilarating to witness!
In this episode Alex and I discuss the taboo topic of sex and sexual health whilst trying to work out why people don't talk about it, why people feel uncomfortable and why people don't see it as part of their own health and wellness.

Louise's objective is to end the cycle of crash dieting and to empower women to feel confident in their own skin. Louise is also the innovator behind the Nourish Method, a program designed to help women attain their desired physique, enhance energy levels, and address issues like bloating, bowel problems, and skin complaints. Having guided numerous women, Louise identifies and addresses the underlying factors hindering them from reaching their weight goals, which include a sluggish metabolism, hormonal imbalances, and mindset challenges.
There is no denying that Women's bodies work very differently from Men's. In this episode we delve into how the female body operates, exploring why women are more prone to gaining weight compared to men and what we can do to prevent it. In my kitchen this week I did something very daunting which was record my first solo episode!!!
This has been requested multiple times, but I always found it a little overwhelming and something that I always had imposter syndrome about, as while I thrive on engaging with others, delving into conversations about their lives and asking questions, sitting down to candidly discuss my own life didn't come naturally to me.
But we did it!
I thought we could end the year where I answered some questions that you guys had asked me which were the following:
This episode is short and sweet and a little insight into a bit more about me!

This week in my kitchen, I have the pleasure of hosting the incredibly talented Sarah Wasserman, who serves as both the creative director and head chef at Mallow and Mildreds Restaurants. With nearly two decades of dedication to the Mallow and Mildreds group, Sarah has played a pivotal role in reshaping and elevating the standards of plant-based dining establishments.
Having immersed herself in the culinary world throughout her career, Sarah stumbled upon this charming, quirky restaurant in Soho almost two decades ago and has remained captivated by its charm, innovation, and creativity since.
Mallow and Mildreds are renowned in Londons food scene for changing the perception of plant-based dining and even changing people's minds about plant-based food. I'm excited to delve into a conversation with Sarah where we'll explore what sets these restaurants apart, how they've evolved while maintaining a leading position in London's dynamic food scene, and the secrets behind their ability to uphold unwavering quality, taste, and dining experiences throughout their expansion and development journey.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Klaudia Lucia a Barry's Bootcamp Trainer and Fitness Enthusiast. Together, we dive into the world of Barry's, unraveling what makes this workout phenomenon so exceptional and Klaudia's journey into the fitness industry.
Barry's is renowned globally as being one of the most intense workouts you can do and as a Barry's attendee myself, I was intrigued to hear about the process of Barry's and why it is so effective. We unpack the dynamic fusion of intense cardio and weight training and how the two combined create great results.
Klaudia vulnerably shares her health struggles and how fitness became a pivotal solution in overcoming these challenges. This episode illuminates how fitness transcends mere physical fitness, significantly impacting overall health and mental well-being.

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Georgia Toffolo to talk about all things dog nutrition. Toff really needs no introduction as I'm sure many of you have seen her gorgeous smile on your screens before, but in this episode, Toff and I are going to talk about a slightly different topic which links to her new business Wild Pack.
Wild Pack is a dog food brand paving the way for raw and natural food. We live in a world now where we are so aware of what we eat, how to live healthier lives, why we should be staying away from ultra-processed foods and how we should check the back of the labels to make sure we know what is inside our food. But what about our dogs' food? We have been conditioned to believe that the dried kibble that is crowding the shop shelves is the best option for our dogs' health when that isn't necessarily the case.
After Toff got her gorgeous dog Monty she had quite a journey with his health, his coat looked terrible, his breath smelt and his tummy was always making strange noises, after Toff got recommended to feed her dog raw food it completely changed Monty and consequently Toff's life and therefore she decided to start a brand promoting this lifestyle for dogs to make dogs healthier and happier.

THIS EPISODE COMES WITH A TRIGGER WARNING
In my kitchen, I am joined by Lisa Unger who is an emotional and eating disorder therapist, she helps those who have been struggling all their lives with their relationship with food and with their relationship with themselves. Lisa supports her clients through compassion and understanding to feel empowered and give them the freedom to regain control of their lives again.
In this episode, Lisa shares her own journey with an eating disorder and how she uses her own experience and recovery to help others with theirs.
Eating disorders are a type of mental illness that stem from some sort of trauma no matter how big or small and in this episode I wanted to ask Lisa how we can help those that we love overcome their illness and support them in regaining their love of themselves and food. Food is mood and has such an impact on our long-term wellness but as with any mental illness addressing the issue should be done in a sensitive and delicate way.
In this episode we discuss the following topics:
To find out more about Lisa you can check out her website at www.lisaunger.co.uk or follow her on Instagram www.instagram.com/_lisaunger

This week in my kitchen I am joined by James Collier Co-Founder and Head of Nutrition at HUEL. This is James's second time on the podcast which is so exciting and in this episode, we are focusing on three main topics, ultra-processed foods, pseudo-influencers and his journey with publishing his book.
James has had an extensive career in Nutrition from working as a clinical nutritionist for the National Health Service to working for the Muscle and Body Building Industry and now Founding and Growing HUEL which was recorded to have 914,000 consumers in 2022. Therefore when it comes to Nutrition James really is at the front of all knowledge!
At the moment we live in a world where social media is where we turn in order to expand our knowledge on different topics and there are many highly regarded Nutritionists out there in order to help us do that, however, there are also many people out there spreading the wrong information and so it can often get confusing on what to believe and therefore what foods to eat and not eat. Therefore I thought I would get James back on the podcast in order to advise us on how to personally make the right decisions when it comes to our food, diet and nutrition.
We discussed the following topics:

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Elisa Lune who is a Skin Health and Gua Sha expert and we talk about all things skin, from signs that we should look out for which may indicate that we need to change up our skincare routine, to how to stop ageing and how to protect our skin from pollution.
Elisa has worked in the skincare industry for many years from working on the shop floor in SpaceNK to working directly with top skincare brands such as Caudalie as well as taking courses in lymphatic drainage and Gua Sha. Therefore Elisa has a breadth of knowledge from products and trying too many which may cause "Space Face" (listen to find out what that means) as well as the ins and outs as to why Gua Sha is so essential for glowing skin.
The skincare industry is just so huge now and with TikTok constantly telling us the do's and don'ts whilst also sharing many people's skincare routine, I thought it would be super insightful to hear it from an expert.
We discuss the following:

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Rob Wallis, Co-Founder of Moth the first single-serve canned cocktail brand which brings you a perfectly balanced cocktail wherever you may need it.
Moth wasn't always called Moth and it also wasn't always served in a can, so in this episode, I get to speak to Rob about the journey of MOTH, from having the idea to making it a reality and then pivoting in order to create a product which speaks to the consumers. In hindsight having a single-served cocktail ready to consume seems obvious as it isn't always convenient to have all the ingredients and spending the time creating the cocktail isn't for everyone, but no one was doing it. This is when Rob and his co-founder Sam had the idea to make the perfect old-fashioned that was as easy to drink as a beer.
This is when Buveur was born which then re-branded into MOTH.
In their journey, there was a lot of "luck" involved and being in the right place at the right time, although you may call it "luck" I would say that you create your own luck and there was a lot of hard work for 2 years before the pivotal moment that catapulted MOTH into what may seem like an overnight success.

This week I am joined by Alex Smith who is the founder of Basic Arts, his aim is to help you re-strategise in order to make big moves and out-win your competition! Alex works with many businesses both within FMCG and other consumer brands in order to refocus the aim, get unstuck and excel in your field.
Alex and I discuss the purpose and value of strategy and how it is often overlooked. We also discuss how strategy applies to all areas of our lives, business and personal. We often find ourselves focusing so much on how we are communicating at work, whether it's in the correct tone of voice for the business, whether we are moving in the right direction and towards the right goals and so on. But what about in our personal lives? This is as important!
Do we have goals that we are striving for? Are we communicating in the way that we want to be perceived? Are we being our true selves?
Strategy is the pillar for direction in everything that we do and it is the one thing that is so easily ignored!
The topics that we discuss are:

This week I am joined by Bethan Higson, Founder of Mother Root, who has created a magical, punchy, delicious and surprisingly healthy non-alcoholic drink, which is made using Apple Cider Vinegar.
A combination of Bethan's background in wine and champagne crossed with her being "pregnant and thirsty" yet disappointed with the options available, brought her to discover that New York bartenders had been recently experimenting with adding different vinegars to their cocktails in order to create another dimension to the flavour profile. This then inspired Bethan to start experimenting in her kitchen in order to find the perfect drink that she could have whilst pregnant and during the early years of Motherhood. Through taking her experience in wine, champagne and aperitifs Bethan started layering up flavours and balancing the different tones which created this complex yet delicious drink which although consisted of no alcohol had the sharpness and mouth feel of an alcoholic drink due to the vinegar element.
Bethan couldn't gate-keep this delicious recipe and so Mother Root was born in order to bring another, completely innovative drink option to the now expanding non-alcoholic market. As well as being a delicious drink, Mother Root has also been picked up amongst nutritionists and health experts due to the powers and benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar which is the main ingredient. So not only do these drinks taste amazing, but they consist of so many health benefits such as being anti-inflammatory, lowering your blood sugar levels and supporting your gut health.
This episode is so fascinating and just pushes the boundaries of what is possible within the food and drink space.

This week, I'm joined by Shivraj Bassi, Founder & CEO of award-winning wellness brand, Innermost. He graduated from Imperial College London and spent 10 successful years at Goldman Sachs in London and New York. After deciding to take a break from banking to reconnect with his health. During that process, he saw that more people were coming around to the benefits of better health, but against a backdrop of an industry full of confusion, contradiction, fads and gimmicks. He decided there had to be a better approach, which led to the creation and launch of Innermost.
Innermost burst onto the scene in 2017. It's science-backed nutrition products are now stocked at more boutique fitness studios in London than any other nutrition brand as well as leading retailers including Ocado, Selfridges, John Lewis, Sephora and many more. The brand has also had huge success expanding internationally with listings in some of the most prestigious hotels, spas and fitness studios in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Revenues for the brand are growing at over 100% Year-on-Year. As part of the brand's corporate responsibility initiative, for every purchase made by customers, Innermost donates a school meal to a child in need. So far in 2023, they've donated over 20k meals.

This week I am joined by my very good friend Melissa Tattam in order to dive into her secret obsession with Organic food, eating a balanced diet, and learning about personalised nutrition and anti-inflammatories. I say secret because many of you know a lot about Melissa's life and lifestyle but this area is one that she keeps to herself due to not being a qualified nutritionist and not wanting to advise incorrectly or mislead anyone. But she has done so much of her own research and gone through her own journey that I thought it was time to share it.
I think this episode is the epitome of the more you look the more you see because when you begin to research into health and wellness you realise how much we can do in order to be the healthiest version of ourselves.
Melissa has recently taken her health to the next level by going through a personalised plan with Pippa Campbell who is a Functional Nutritionist and with that she has found out more about her body, what vitamins she is low on, what her body can and can't process and a lot lot more!
Melissa is also passionate about making sure she is doing everything she can in order to feel the best version of herself and protect her body from the additives and chemicals that we surround ourselves with every day.

This week I am joined by the Co-Founder of Form Nutrition Natalia Bojanic where we talk about the power of protein in your diet for both your physical and mental health.
I have been a consumer of Form protein powder for 5 or more years and this is because it really is the best tasting Vegan Protein out there with incredible ingredients. But before Form I wasn't a protein powder consumer because I was scared of what protein powder would do, but now I have started taking protein powder every day I can't imagine life without it. Therefore in this episode, I discuss with Natalia the power of protein and how it is actually the building blocks of not only our bodily functions, muscle repair and growth but also our mental health and hormone balance.
Natalia comes from a background of PR and also of holistic health, naturopathic medicine and meditation. Therefore Natalia talks from a place of knowledge when it comes to health benefits both physically and mentally.
Form has grown from strength to strength in the UK and they are now taking on America with help from their newest team member and avid Form consumer Orlando Bloom.

In my kitchen this week I have Sonny Drinkwater Co-Founder of Well Easy the online health food store which makes healthy living accessible and affordable for everyone.
After going through his own health journey of restriction, counting calories and obsessing over food Sonny fell in love with ingredients, good quality food which nourishes your body and is full of goodness rather than some of the other products you may find in supermarkets today.
But as Sonny began searching for all the best products he noticed how expensive, confusing and difficult it was, he found that he was ordering products directly from various different brands and it was just inconvenient. This is where the idea for Well Easy came from, creating a one stop shop for all health and wellness products so you can get all you need in one box.
Through starting Well Easy Sonny has dived into research about supermarkets, how ultimately they are motivated by profit rather than providing us the best quality food. Sonny has also researched a lot into ultra-processed foods and how these are becoming more and more popular and readily available and also highly promoted rather than the cleaner and more natural alternatives.
This is an episode where we deep dive into the food system in the UK and how we all need to be going back to basics rather than turning for fast, convenient and ultimately unhealthy alternatives.

This week we have James Cadbury joining me in my kitchen to talk all things chocolate! Being the great great grandson of John Cadbury the Founder of Cadbury which we all know and love, it's not surprising that James was inspired by his families history and story.
James founded in Love Cocoa in 2017 which is a luxury chocolate brand focusing on gifting and offering a more premium chocolate experience, after taking Love Cocoa to Dragons Den the brand has gone from strength to strength with the hope of Love Cocoa stores opening in the future.
In 2020 James noticed a real gap in the plant-based chocolate space, we were letting oat milk take over our lives, but no one was using oat milk to make chocolate. Therefore as Cadbury was the first brand to add dairy milk to their chocolate (hence the name Cadbury Dairy Milk), James thought that he would be one of the first to start adding Oat Milk to cocoa in order to create the same delicious creamy chocolate experience that the plant-based market was missing. With a lot of consumers now opting for oat milk over dairy milk due to taste preference as well as the sustainability bonus, it seemed the obvious option and he was completely right!
HIP (which stands for Happiness In Plants) was born 18 months later in 2021 and over two years it has gone from strength to strength.
In this conversation James and I discuss the following topics:

This week we are joined by Luke Hemsley the Founder of Wednesdays Domain the premium Non-Alcoholic Wine brand. We have seen a huge rise in the last couple of years in the no and low alcohol space, we have non-alcoholic spirit brands such as Clean Co which is leading the way in the spirits section, Lucky Saint is doing some impressive things in the beer world, but wine was definitely being left out until Wednesdays Domain came along. There is something really romantic about choosing a bottle of wine to have with your dinner or to take over to a friends house, it is the branding, the bottle itself, what you will pair it with, the conversations you will have with it and so on. There is a lot more to it other than the actual wine itself and that is exactly what Wednesdays Domain is playing on with their de-alcoholised red and white wine.
The idea came to Luke during the Pandemic, where like many of us Luke returned to his parents house which resulted in the drinking of a lot of wine. This unsustainable habit made Luke realise that although he really enjoyed sitting around the table chatting and drinking with his family at the end of the day, the headache the next morning wasn't really ideal when he had to work. This gave Luke the idea to look for non-alcoholic alternatives to which in the wine category there were very little, this is when Wednesdays Domain was born.
I think as consumers we are becoming increasingly aware of our health and performance and therefore having brands such as Wednesdays Domain create non-alcoholic alternatives where we can dip in and dip out of drinking is really exciting.
Luke and I discuss the following topics;

This week we are deep diving into the world of oral health and the effect it has on our overall health and also how the products we are using are having a detrimental effect on the planet. I am joined by Dr. Simon Chard who is a Cosmetic Dentist as well as being the President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Co-Founder of Parla.
Parla is on a mission to redefine Oral Care for the next generation through producing products that are not only full of amazing ingredients but also use no plastic. All their products are in recyclable or re-fillable packaging and therefore the products are in the form of tablets rather than in a plastic tube or bottle. Their motto is one small change as just by changing the packaging that our toothpaste or mouthwash comes in we are having a dramatic effect on the planet.
Every toothpaste tube that you have ever used still exists today. They don't decompose and they don't get recycled which is a terrifying statistic and one which Dr. Simon Chard is hugely passionate about. The fact that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish is unimaginable! Dr. Simon Chard through both his social media presence and through growing Parla is on a mission to make a difference and so his children and grandchildren can enjoy the oceans how we do today.
In this episode we also discover more about the link between our oral health and overall health and how gut health starts in our mouths and then works it's way down! I was also able to ask Simon some burning questions I had about the myths around dental care and what not to eat in order to keep our teeth and oral health in check.

This week I am joined by Eoin Keenan Co-Founder and CEO of Good Rays the UK's Fastest Growing CBD Brand which creates a range of products from CBD-infused drinks to Oil and Gummies.
Not only has Eoin started one of the first CBD brands in the UK but he has been working in the industry for a decade. In this time he has been in the regulatory space, working with industry-leading consultants in order to push for regulatory change in order to help open up new cannabis ventures and help the global movement towards enabling CBD to be legalised and consumed as part of a healthy lifestyle. During this time Eoin found the world's best growers as well as advise on the best products which stemmed the idea for creating Good Rays.
Unlike many other CBD brands, Good Rays contains 30mg of CBD which is higher than competitors and this is so you can feel and receive the full benefit of CBD whilst using or consuming their products.
Due to Eoin's extensive work in the field, I was really looking forward to having him in my kitchen to discuss the ins and outs of CBD. Why it is so good for us, why it doesn't actually make us high but it does relax us in a different way and what the regulations are currently but how they are due to change. If you are new or apprehensive about using CBD hopefully this one's for you.
As a consumer I have always been really sceptical about CBD which I think was mainly down to nerves and lack of education on the topic, but as of recently, I have become more and more interested in it and really appreciate how it can work in our favour and become part of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I personally really enjoy the CBD drinks and have one if I am feeling particularly anxious or nervous

This week I am joined in my kitchen by Emily Brogan the Australian girl from Brisbane who has moved to London and is a viral TikTok content creator who is renowned for her videos where she compares Australian culture to London culture.
Emily Brogan currently has 269.7K followers on TikTok and 10.3K followers on Instagram.
I was really looking forward to talking to Emily because all of her videos on TikTok involve food, although Emily isn't necessarily talking about food itself, she is preparing food at the time of chatting so I wanted to dive into what Emily's relationship with food is like and also how London differs from Australia in terms of supermarkets, brands and overall culture.
Emily also always prepares healthy clean food and so I wanted to learn more about her journey to eating clean and where that comes from.
Lastly, Emily is also really open about being Gay and as London Pride was celebrated last Saturday this conversation seems extremely relevant where we discuss how Emily knew she was gay, how she told her family and friends and how it is coming to a new city being Gay.
This was a truly honest conversation and a great chit-chat about all things food, culture and relationships

In my kitchen this week I am joined by Loui Blake who has pioneered the plant-based space since he turned Vegan nearly 10 years ago and has never looked back. Loui started off by working in the nightlife industry and also recruitment to which he then fell into some unhealthy habits which resulted in chronic fatigue and burnout. After researching many diets and ways of changing his lifestyle in order to have more energy he came across Dr. Sebi's Alkaline Plant-Based diet which he did for a month and has never looked back since.
After witnessing the results of the plant-based diet first hand Loui wanted to tell the world about how amazing he felt and in doing so he decided to re-direct is career to promoting the plant-based diet. This started with his first restaurant in Norwich called Erpingham House which was one of the first plant-based restaurants in the area, although a challenging journey it didn't put Loui off opening more restaurants in Norwich and London. Loui has founded Kalifornia Kitchen and Vegan Dough Co, as well as being a partner in by CHLOE.
Loui also has an impressive investment portfolio including brands such as Floozie, Club Cultured and his most recent investment into Miami Foods, to which he is now the CEO.
Miami Foods is an alternative protein brand which focuses on clean and natural ingredients, as quoted by Miami Foods, 'great tasting food, without the bad stuff'. After launching it in the UK Loui is now expanding into UAE as well as many other international markets.
As you can see Loui has quite the portfolio in the plant-based space and therefore this was a fascinating conversation where we covered the following topics:

I am joined this week by Iza Szyszko the health content creator on both Instagram and TikTok. With a collective following of 187.4K she influences people to live and be the best version of themselves through nourishing their bodies, eating the rainbow and drinking delicious juices and smoothies.
Iza has been vegan for about 10 years now and has recently given up alcohol and coffee due to the anxiety it caused her, so she really is the picture of health.
In this episode, I wanted to speak to Iza about where her drive for being so healthy came from, how her upbringing has affected how she lives today and also what her guilty pleasures are!
We discuss some really interesting topics such as being plant-based, juice cleanses, cleaning your fruit and vegetables and a lot more!

In this episode I am joined by Olivia Kirkby the content creator who focuses on spreading positivity across social media after battling with her own eating disorder. Olivia inspires and influences others to feel self-love and confidence and embrace their body and curves. Olivia started her journey on social media as a way of setting herself free from the restrictions and control that she had put on herself all her life and in the process has built up a following of 147K on Instagram and 698K on TikTok.
People like Olivia are so important and influential to society where it is easy to get sucked into a negative and self-deprecating cycle but when you see Olivia embracing her body and feeling confident in her own skin it is so inspiring for others to feel the same. Although, it has taken Olivia a journey of self-loathing to get to the position she's in now.

This week, Aidan O'Flaherty, known on Social Media as the Irish Physio, joins me in my kitchen to talk all things running. I met Aidan when I injured myself in preparation for the London Marathon. During our sessions, it occurred to me firstly, just how knowledgeable Aidan was on all things running and recovery and also how little I knew about how to run properly and recover effectively.
I then decided to bring Aidan onto the podcast to talk about these topics in more detail as the lockdown resulted in a lot of us taking to running in order to clear our heads and add movement into our days, however with that I'm sure came injuries and niggles that ruined the fun.
Aidan's history starts with a football career and due to multiple injuries led him to physiotherapy where he has completed a higher-level certificate for exercise physiology and worked in the NHS for a number of years before working in private practice. Aidan's focus is on running and running injuries as he has also completely fallen in love with the sport and therefore aims to help athletes and recreational runners continue to enjoy the amazing sport.
Aidan also had a past with an unhealthy relationship with alcohol which he opened up about on this podcast and although it's a hugely moving story it's incredible how he has completely changed his life and lifestyle as a result.
Topics we discuss:
This is a fantastic episode which I wish I could have had before training for the marathon, it is so inspirational and if you are not currently a runner, I think this may inspire you.

In this episode we are joined by Mike the Founder of Vegan Cheese Brand Honestly Tasty. Honestly, Tasty started in 2018 to fill the huge gap of delicious plant-based cheese alternatives. Vegan Cheese was often left behind, when alternatives started appearing and changing consumer habits, you would often hear the phrase, "I can't be Vegan because I love Cheese too much" and there was a stage where the Vegan Cheese alternatives were really disappointing.
After Mike turned Vegan his love for Blue Cheese was really being tested due to there being no alternative on the market, therefore Mike went to Berlin, did a cheese-making course and made it his mission to create his own alternative. After positive feedback from friends and family Mike decided to leave his real estate banking job and turn his attention to the challenge of starting a plant-based cheese brand.
This episode follows the journey from 2018 to now, through the challenging times of COVID, Brexit and the cost of living crisis, as well as the more positive moments of getting into Ocado and M&S

In this episode, we are joined by Savannah Sachdev, known on social media as Confused Indian Girl. In 2020 Savannah lost her job and felt lost and hopeless with her mental health being at an all-time low, this led her to go on walks to clear her head which turned into jogs and before she knew it she had run every day for three weeks and decided to keep going and never stop.
It has now been 675 days and Savannah has run a minimum of a mile every day! Which has not only improved her mental health dramatically but has completely changed her life. She is now working for amazing brands such as Lululemon and Strarva, she has built a community of people around her who follow her and support her which she has never had before and she has a whole new purpose in life which is to promote movement outside no matter how long or far it is.
Savannah and I also talk about her boob reduction which is a fascinating topic and one that is often not discussed enough. Growing up she felt over-sexualised and insecure due to having big boobs and so her reduction has also been the making of her confidence today and also given her the ability to run like she can now.

This week we are joined by Angus Warburton who is a fitness coach, podcast host and author of the book "Are You Really Living?".
In this episode, we discuss his journey to where he is today in building his fitness career and why he chose this path in life. Angus is part of the Warburtons family and therefore could have followed in his Fathers' footsteps and gone into the family business. However, fitness had such an impact on Angus's life, it started out as an escape, a focus and a goal but turned into a passion where he wanted others to feel the positive effects of fitness in the way that he did.
Angus has now been in the fitness industry for 5 years and is a firm believer in not only the physical benefits that come with exercise but also the lifestyle and mental benefits too.
This episode digs deep into a lot of hot topics that we are confronted with on a regular basis, although we touch on the importance of fitness and diet we also discuss the effect social media has had on society, how we live in a comparison culture where we are constantly comparing ourselves to the top 1% of society which creates unrealistic expectations that leads to a cycle of self-loathing and a lot of self-criticism.
Angus also shares his decision to not go to University and the benefit this has had on where he is today. Although University is fantastic for careers in professions such as Law and Medicine, it shouldn't be expected of everyone and Angus firmly believes his decision to not go has helped him hugely to where he is today.

We are joined by Mikey Pearce, former YouTuber and now the Founder and CEO of Clean Kitchen. Mikey's journey to Clean Kitchen started from a personal health kick, like many of us Mikey spent the lockdown days eating healthier and focusing on a more plant-based diet, as well as getting into his fitness. Mikey ended up losing 16kg and thought that if he was enjoying a plant-based diet then surely others would too. This is what lead him to his mission to bring plant-based to the mainstream and although Mikey doesn't come from a background in food, he does have a flare for building brands, so he decided to build a plant-based brand and promote it like an artist was promoting an album. At the time plant-based wasn't looked at as cool but Mikey wanted to make it a destination, somewhere people wanted to hang out and a brand that other brands wanted to partner with for events to bring plant-based to the masses.
Although this concept sounds amazing the reality of it is challenging and the brand has accelerated at a rapid pace so we talk to Mikey about his journey to date, the highs and the lows and what is coming next.

Annie Morris started Spoon Cereal at the age of 23 with her Co-Founder and now Brother in Law Jonathan Shimmin. After going on Dragons Den and getting offers from both Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden there at the time small breakfast bar pop up catapulted into being a part of the FMCG industry and after being viewed by millions of people it completely turned their business upside down.
However in comparison to other brands in the granola space Spoon has lower brand awareness and this is because they have been slowly and quietly plugging away in the background in order to grow sustainably and stand the test of time. Other brands have come and gone whilst Spoon has been going from strength to strength, being the first in the granola space to bring out a pro-biotic granola and now going on to expand into the cereal market.
This podcast highlights the value of slow and steady wins the race and whilst we are in an environment where investment, angels and venture capital get talked about very often sometimes step by step and not running before you can walk also works.

This week I am so excited to be joined by Marisa Poster Co-Founder of Perfect Ted the Matcha based energy drink which is aimed to introduce consumers to Matcha in a more approachable way! I have spoken to a few people now about coffee and how although it tastes delicious and most of us can't start our mornings without it, we also know that too much can give you the shakes, the jitters or even how one cup of coffee can suddenly bring on a wave of anxiousness. Matcha is made from Green Tea, so it is a caffeinated drink but it has sustained energy which doesn't give you these jitters, anxious feelings or crashes.
Perfect Ted not only is a Matcha powder brand but they have also channelled the power of Matcha into an energy drink, so when you need that pick me up in the day you can go for something refreshing but also healthy and effective.
Marisa and Co-Founder Teddy and Levi have been on the recent season of Dragon's Den where they received 5 offers from the Dragon's taking deals from both Steven Bartlett and Peter Jones, therefore this is just the start of a really exciting journey for them.
I wanted to talk to Marisa about her struggles with ADHD and Anxiety and the role that coffee played in this. I also wanted to talk about Matcha and how they are going to tackle the challenge of introducing it to the UK and lastly I was super interested to hear in the behind the scenes of Dragon's Den.

This week we are joined by former Professional Rugby Player Darren O'Reilly who is now the Co-Founder of Whole Supp. Darren played Professional Rugby for Leinster and Harlequins before retiring and returning to the corporate world. The difference between having a nutritionist with you every day to then being so time short that you rush for a meal deal or similar for lunch highlighted to Darren that there was a huge problem in receiving good quality nutrition quickly, accessibly and affordably and so Darren made it his mission to solve this problem.
Darren and his Co-Founder Dr. Brian Carson have been formulating Whole Supp for 2.5 years in order to create a drinkable meal which is nutritionally complete, packed with superfoods, affordable and accessible and it has now launched in two flavours, Chocolate and Vanilla.
We are now as consumers becoming more accustomed to drinking our meals in the format of a shake, therefore this is a really exciting market and one that we can all benefit from hugely

This week we are depicting what Holistic Wellness really is with the wonderful Georgie Spurling, Founder of Arvra.
Georgie has had an incredible journey to get to where she is today, from being told that she would never be able to exercise again to now founding a holistic wellness app aimed at corporate companies who want to encourage their employees to fit wellness into their busy schedules. This is such a refreshing conversation where Georgie talks realistically about managing wellness without having to take hours out of our day to fit in these crazy workouts or going to the shops and spending a fortune on expensive ingredients just to make a salad.
We all say "we don't have enough hours in the day" but when it comes to wellness we do, firstly it is so essential to our performance and limiting stress, and also you don't have to do much in one day in order to feel a huge benefit.
Sometimes on social media we get made to feel that we aren't doing enough, eating clean enough or getting in enough steps, but Georgie and I discuss wellness on a more manageable and digestible level.
My favourite part of this episode is when Georgie states that wellness is not a privilege and this is so true.

In this episode we are joined by Lara, Co-Founder of Lune and Wild which is a fantastic children's delivery service of frozen and prepared meals which help parents feed their children the right nutritionally dense meals, as well as feeding children's curiosity to all the world of food.
After hearing so many stories about people's unhealthy relationship with food, it got me thinking about upbringing and how introducing food into children's life is so crucial for the way they treat their body and continue their relationship with food into their adult life. Therefore this conversation with Lara digs deep into the importance of what we feed our children, the variety of it, introducing them to new flavours and ways of eating in order to really broaden their knowledge and understanding. Wilf shares with us the art, beauty and trade secrets of the chocolate world in this episode! We are all used to adventuring off to find the most amazing cup of coffee, from beautiful independent coffee shops and paying for the experience of the barista making our coffee in front of us, seeing the beautiful coffee art and then tasting the different notes of berries or citrus. We are also used to heading to a secret wine bar and enjoying sips of wine from different regions and again tasting the different notes and tones depending on the grape and location it was grown in. But chocolate? Chocolate hasn't received the same appreciation, yet it is exactly the same process. A lot of chocolate we see on shop shelves has been mixed with sugars and additives to create a milky chocolate bar which we all know and love. However, there is so much that goes into the growing of the cocoa bean, the farms and the fruits which influence the taste of the cocoa and then the process to which chocolate is made.
Wilf the Founder of Islands Chocolate has brought Chocolate back to it's original art and beauty. They have their own farm in St Vincents in the Caribbean where they grow their own cocoa which then get taken to Belgium to be melted down into incredible bars, hot chocolate and spreads.
Islands Chocolate is used by chefs in top Michelin Star restaurants as well as Gails for their luxurious Hot Chocolate.
Wilf and I discuss the following topics:
This is a fantastic episode about the beauty of a product we all love - Chocolate!

I was honoured to be sat with Andy Shovel this week to discuss all things THIS. To speak to Andy about his journey from burger chain Chosen Bun to THIS was fascinating as well as hearing about his own personal journey to Veganism.

Ruby really does give us the honest and painful reality in this episode to which I was so grateful. She shares with us a story that I'm sure sadly many can relate to. The best part about it though is that she has turned it all around and although sometimes struggles with certain stigma's and expectations from being in the fitness industry she has such a positive attitude and mentality and no longer "hates" her body but loves it.

James Collier; Co-Founder and Head of Sustainable Nutrition at HUEL.
HUEL is a revolutionary product which has been consumed by 200 million globally, it is a complete meal source with every product being nutritionally complete. With James's background and extensive career in nutrition he formulated the product that we all consume today.

From working for the NHS James then diversified into the Muscle and Body Building Industry where he started a forum called Muscle Talk.
Then in 2014 he was contacted by Julian Hearn who presented him the idea of this nutritionally complete food source which would be Human Fuel, hence the name HUEL. James with his credited background then formulated the product we know today!

This week I am joined by Former England Rugby player Olly Barkley. Olly had a very unique journey where he went straight into playing for England which then led him to play for Bath with a very long and successful career which lasted 15 years!
I was really looking forward to speaking to Olly about his diet when playing professional rugby compared to his diet now, as well as his thoughts on the plant-based movement and whether he believed that you could play a high impact sport professionally whilst on a predominantly plant-based diet.
This conversation was so interesting, Olly's knowledge and passion on the topics were so inspiring as we discussed the following topics:

This week I am joined by Bari who is a qualified dietician, an author of a book called The No Nonsense Guide To Health and Nutrition and the Host of the Podcast Forking Wellness.
In this episode we discuss what wellness really is, with the theme that it is different to everyone and with everything that we see in the media today such as 'what I eat in a day' or the guide to a healthy lifestyle, it is actually all really toxic! As what looks like healthy to one person, won't be the same for another.
We also have a really interesting conversation about Veganism and how it isn't for everyone, but that doesn't mean that you can't cut back. Veganism as a word has a horrible reputation and people feel afraid of it and don't want to commit to it! Bari is a prime example of a super healthy person who is amazing at cooking where Veganism doesn't work for her. But if you look at her diet it is probably 70% Vegan.

This week I was joined by actress and foodie Daisy Wood Davis to talk about the relationship with food on the sets of films, shows and TV, whilst also talking all things food.
Having no idea about the culture in the film industry myself, I was so intrigued about whether there was a stigma around food or whether it brought the cast together and created memories. It sounds like in Daisy's experience it is definitely a facilitator for memories.
As well as being an Actress Daisy has a love of food which is clearly portrayed in this episode as we discussed things from the Plant-Based movement as a whole, to restaurant recommendations in London, to Supper Clubs to even whether or not you should bring up your child on a Plant-Based diet if you are Plant-Based yourself.
This one calls out to all foodies!

In this episode I am joined by Harry Turpin, who is on a mission to create a savoury snack bar for the masses. Harry's bubbly personality really shines through in this episode as we discuss his journey to identifying the large gap in the market which was a savoury snack bar. Sugar has always defined snacking, from chocolate bars to protein bars to even snack bars, they are always made with date paste, honey or dried fruits, and although tasty it will still leave you with that afternoon slump. The Savouritsts aim is to change that and with Harry's vision and personality I am excited to see them grow.
Not only is Harry's journey really interesting but he also took on the Dragon's in this years Season of Dragon's Den. In this episode we unpick the behind the scenes of his experience and he explains the brave decision for changing the product right before entering the Den.
There is so much in this episode that you're going to love, which if you do, please like, share and subscribe.

In this episode I am joined by Stu who founded Mani-Life the tastiest Peanut Butter on the market. This episode not only dives deep into the ups and downs of growing this incredible brand but also dives into a bit about Stu's life and how one of his biggest struggles growing up has set him up with the skills to tackle any challenge that comes his way. When it comes to looking at a successful brand it is important to look at the founder which is why I was so interested in this part of Stu's life and I'm so grateful for Stu being so honest and open in this episode.
There are also some outrageously tasty recipes described in this episode, which I have linked below, so give those a try and tag @manilife_ and @greedyveganltd if you happen to re-create them.

This week I am joined by Hannah McCollum the Founder of ChicP which is one of the brands I stock at Greedy Vegan. Not only has Hannah launched a delicious product which tastes amazing and has amazing health benefits, but it is also part of a sustainability mission that Hannah continues to fight which is food waste. Every pot of Hummus includes vegetables which aims to minimise food waste.
Hannah's background in events and hospitality opened her eyes to a whole world of food waste which she couldn't stand to be apart of, so she quit her job and researched ways in which we can all do our bit to combat this huge ongoing problem. Hannah's favourite way to reduce the food she personally wasted was to blend up any veggies which were leftover into a hummus in order to create a dip of the day! This is how ChicP was born!
This conversation is so interesting and I feel that everyone will take something from this, whether it is that they need to go and try some ChicP products, or they are going to cut back on the food they waste by freezing, blending or baking it!
I hope you enjoy it

This week I am joined by Nutritionist Holly to answer and discuss some common queries and doubts about being Plant-Based. I often get asked a lot of questions about the Plant-Based diet and whilst I have a small Nutritional background it is not the same as a qualified nutritionist so Holly shines some light on some key questions!
We discuss the following topics:
Why is Protein so important when you are on a Plant-Based diet?
Do Plant-Based consumers get all of their Vitamins and Minerals
What should Plant-Based look to Supplement with or do they even need to supplement?
Are Plant-Based Alternative Proteins healthy?
If you have ever asked yourself or anyone else one of these questions - give this episode a listen!

This week I am joined by Lydia who is known on Instagram as @lydslife where she discusses her skin journey and battle through an extreme case of eczema. In this episode although we discuss how food hugely affects your skin, we also highlight that food isn't the only way to achieve health. Instead it is a balance between eating good food, sleeping well and having a positive state of mind through surrounding yourself with the right people and doing things that you enjoy. Through Lydia going through her skin journey and trying anything and everything to cure her eczema she realised that instead of it being just one thing it was the combination of everything which ultimately cured her and this holistic approach to wellbeing is something that we discuss further in this episode.

This week I am joined by Ella, the co-founder of Griddle, a challenger brand to the traditional bakery product. Griddle came about after Ella and her co-founder Sophie, really enjoyed their weekend breakfasts of making pancakes and waffles when living together, but noticed there was nothing on the market in terms of a quick pancake and waffle fix in the morning which you can buy from a supermarket without it being full of preservatives. This is when Griddle came about, the plant-based, low sugar pancake and waffle which only needs to be popped into the toaster before it is fluffy and fresh. I found this conversation with Ella so interesting as we discussed the pancake and waffle market as a whole, the freshness of the frozen isle and the effect that sugar has on children and child obesity.

In this episode I wanted to talk about the plant-based world from a different perspective, which is the perspective of Chris Slocombe who works at Longman Cheese and has been in the industry for 25 years. In this episode we hear from an expert about how cheese came about and how you make cheese, whilst also discussing some common debates such as the amount of emissions produced from feeding cattle and whether the plant-based diet is sustainable. Lastly, I used the opportunity of being with a cheese expert to do some taste testing of a brand that I may be stocking at Greedy Vegan in the future.
Whether your a cheese lover or not, this is hugely insightful and one I think you will love!

This week I am joined by Gracie Tyrrell the co-founder of the Squirrel Sisters which is a no sugar snack brand. This episode is so inspiring as we discuss the journey that Gracie has been through from creating the first bar in her Nutri-bullet for her sister Sophie, who had been diagnosed with a life threatening heart disease and therefore couldn't have any sugar, to now having it stocked in some of the biggest retailers in the UK such as Ocado, Wholefoods and Planet Organic. We also discuss hidden sugars and how although we may think that a "healthy snack bar" may be "healthy" there really are a lot of hidden sugars in products that we don't realise are there. I hope this episode teaches you something, whether it is the real graft of a start-up or whether it's to look into what you are eating.

This week I was joined by Caterer, Food Blogger and Chef, Georgia Hearn who is also known on Instagram as Clean Geeg. Throughout this episode Georgia openly discussed her own relationship with food from her teenage years relying on Slim Fast Shakes and dieting to now finding a positive, sustainable and happy balance. In this episode we highlight the importance of educating yourself on food and where it comes from, whilst also getting the inside scoop of life as Clean Geeg. From her catering jobs to teaching it's fair to say that Georgia is changing people's lives with food one meal at a time.

It was so interesting to be joined by Digby Edgely this week and to hear his honest story about his relationship with food and how with help from a nutritionist his approach to food has completely changed resulting in more balance and an overall happiness. For those who don't know Digby is best known for his appearance on Reality TV show Made In Chelsea and his now international modelling career, whilst also being the co-founder of a Lifestyle App called Ping. In this conversation we discuss Digby's journey from leaving school and being a Pro-Golfer, to then competing in physical shows, to personal trainer and now model! This has been quite a journey for Digby both mentally and physically with food being at the centre of it all. This episode also shows that everyone has their own views on the plant-based diet, which is totally understandable, but the most important thing is that we all know we have to cut back in some ways, whether that is just from changing the milk you have in your coffee or cutting back on the amount of animal protein you consume.
I think you will enjoy this one, so if you do please like share and subscribe!
For my first episode we are joined by Professional England Cricket Player Sam Curran. In this episode we go back to the beginning, to Zimbabwe where Sam grew up and his upbringing has influenced his diet today, we then get a glimpse into the life of being a professional sportsman with the constant monitoring of a nutritionist, as well as hearing a day in the life of what Sam would typically eat when training and when playing important games all over the world. When it comes to Plant-Based it's fair to say that the Zimbabwe influence doesn't make it easy to cut back, however with huge influences in his life, Sam appreciates the need to cut back occasionally. I'm excited for this first episode, I think you're going to love it!
