A concise 15 minute weekly astrology weather forecast that is for newcomers to astrology and the astrology-curious!
The upcoming eclipse in Pisces invites us to connect to our dreams, intuition, emotions, spiritual and creative practices and projects and to release, let go, say goodbye to anything that isn't serving us (bad habits such as social media doomscrolling anyone??) so that we can make room for positive habits (Virgo), and relationships (Venus in Libra) for the benefit of our mental, emotional and spiritual health and wellbeing. Mars has moved into Cancer - where it will be on and off until April 2025 - again focusing us on the internal and emotional realm as well as our patterns and beliefs held since childhood - a great opportunity for healing, through energy work, creative projects, and talk therapy.

Tuesday's new moon invites us to look at our habits, our daily routines and to consider what are we doing that is supporting us, and what isn't supporting us? Health, wellbeing and connecting with our bodies and the mind-body connection are all in focus. Venus conjunct the south lunar node in Libra invites us to let go of any relationship patterns that are no longer serving us. Or maybe someone from our past will re-emerge...? Pluto is retrograding back into Capricorn until mid-November, the final gasp of top-down authority, whilst trining Uranus in Taurus, sparking value-led protests and rebellion.

This year's new moon in Leo asks us to re-connect to our heart presence, to love, to creative expression and the joy of play! Mercury turns retrograde in Virgo the next day giving us a chance to re-vise, re-vist, re-consider our plans, perhaps re-connecting with past colleagues, work opportunities, exercise regimes... Venus joins Mercury in Virgo on 5 Aug, whilst Mars and Jupiter are still racing through busy busy busy Gemini - phew! All this Mercurial energy in the sky means our minds may be racing, lots of ideas, connections, thoughts, learnings, appointments... making it more important than ever to make time for play (Sun, moon in Leo), ground ourselves in supportive daily routines (Mercury, Venus in Virgo) and express ourselves creatively (sun, moon in Leo, and Neptune in Pisces).

Friday night's new moon in Cancer (at 11.58pm UK time) invites us to be intentional around the foundations of our life - our home, our family (biological and chosen), who and what makes us feel safe, secure, the nostalgia of our childhood... we are adults now, often caring for others, how can we create a loving nurturing home and environment for ourselves and those we love? Saturn and Neptune stationed retrograde in Pisces in the last week, which can impact us in a dreamy, sleepy, creative way, perhaps exhausting/overwhelming - this too shall pass. Jupiter in Gemini is making us see double - re-doing things, doing things twice, keeping busy, as ever grounding and centering is key and thankfully Mars in Taurus is motivating us to do this.

On Thursday 20 June the sun moves into Cancer - the summer solstice (in the northern hemisphere) - yay, summer has arrived at last! Cancer initiates, leads in the family and the domestic sphere, it relates to our mothers, mothering energy, nurturing, caring, protecting, our childhood memories, our inner child... it feels deeply and is very intuitive and with Venus and Mercury alongside the sun in Cancer this year, we are likely to be feeling the feels, connecting with our past, ancestry, memories and the ebb and flow of our emotional realm more than ever. Saturday's full moon in Capricorn raises questions of duty, responsibility and boundaries with our elders, and gives us a wonderful opportunity to release and heal any karmic baggage we are carrying from our ancestors. Energy healing could be particularly helpful now

It's Gemini season! Time to focus on our communications, our local communities/neighbourhoods, siblings/cousins, short-distance travel, choices, options, opinions, busy busy busy... Thursday's new moon is sweetened by Venus, Jupiter and ruling planet Mercury in Gemini, but watch out for Saturn (hierarchies, authority figures, boundaries) which is squaring the new moon, putting a dampener on our plans and Pluto (power plays) sesquisquaring the new moon - watch what you say and how you say it as you could face opposition from the powers that be (particularly watch your social media output!).
Jupiter is hanging out in Gemini for a whole year, expanding this part of your chart - check your birth chart for which area of your life is being impacted by Jupiter in the year ahead!

Wednesday's new moon in solid, dependable Taurus gives us an opportunity to set new goals/intentions around themes related to our values (including self worth!), material stability, the Earth and the environment, our physical bodies, pleasure... Ruling planet Venus is also in Taurus, supporting our intentions along with expansive Jupiter and radical Uranus - is it time to approach these topics differently? Mercury and Chiron together in Aries suggest an opportunity to have a healing conversation or to express yourself (potentially your anger) in a way that supports your healing. The new moon sextiles Saturn which will support us to build a solid outcome to our new moon wishes - what are you ready to commit to constructing in your life?

At 1am UK time on Weds 24 we have a full moon in Scorpio - the first Scorpio lunation in over a year that isn't an eclipse, however off the back of the recent eclipses and the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus this full moon may be extra potent. Watch out for secrets being revealed (don't share yours if you don't want people knowing them!), hidden things coming to light, strong emotional reactions arising in yourself and others. The moon and sun square ruling planet Pluto in Aquarius - inviting us to take an innovative and community-minded approach to our individual and collective healing. Ruling planet Mars is in Pisces, encouraging us to dream, rest, recuperate, and express ourselves through our creativity.

Monday's solar eclipse takes place at 7.19pm (UK time) in fiery Aries, conjunct Chiron, the asteroid relating to our wounds and healing. Mercury is retrograding in Aries too, and Venus is also there. So - a great time to have courageous conversations, to heal past conflicts/miscommunications, to express and assert your needs and boundaries. Pay attention to your dreams and pause before (re)acting - all this Aries energy could get us het up and acting impusively - pick your battles!

Welcome to Aries season! The astrological wheel of the year begins to turn again. Fresh off the back of Wednesday's Spring Equinox we now have a lunar eclipse in the opposite sign of Libra, bringing up emotions and unconscious patterns that relate to how we relate to our significant other(s) in our lives, how we give and take, balance, compromise, collaborate. The lunation's ruler Venus is in dreamy, romantic, compassionate, healing Pisces, which is supporting our healing around any relationship issues or challenges that may arise. Pluto in Aquarius is in a supportive trine to the moon, giving us a fresh take perhaps on our friendships, and/or how our one on one relationships can and do impact society and our communities in a positive way....

Sunday's new moon is the final lunation of this astrological year and a major manifesting opportunity! Time to vision, imagine, dream, but also to commit (Saturn) to building a new creative, spiritual and/or healing process/project/practice, or to dedicate (Saturn) time to supporting those less fortunate than yourself. All this Piscean energy can be very ungrounding, confusing, overwhelming, exhausting - do you have a simple practice that brings you back into your body, gives you a moment's space to breathe, re-connect to yourself? Find what works for you and come back to it as the astrology is going to get interesting over the next few months as we enter eclipse season...

We are at the end of the astrological year - happy solar return Pisces! Pisces invites us to feel, to intuit, to creatively express ourselves, to connect to the divine and our spiritual path. Today's full moon in Virgo reminds us of the importance of daily rituals and routines which support our wellbeing (nutrition, sleep, exercise), spiritual practice (regular meditation, yoga, tai chi/qi gong, prayer...) and the importance of regular committed practice to develop our creative crafts. A great opportunity to revise and review our spiritual and creative connections and endeavours, to integrate all we've learnt and become over the past astrological year and leave what no longer serves us behind...

Tonight's new moon in futuristic Aquarius gives us an opportunity for a fresh start, a new outlook or perspective, a different approach to an old problem. Ruler Uranus in Taurus is squaring this new moon, potentially causing chaos, disruption (to our technology/the internet/the earth in the form of earthquakes??), some tension that arises and forces us to respond differently. Next Friday 16 Feb Venus and Mars will join Mercury, the Sun and Pluto in Aquarius meaning the Aquarian focus (communities, social networks, rebellion, revolution, science, technology) remains for several weeks to come - what do you want to create in this part of your life?

This new moon (at 2.40amBST on Fri 15 September) invites us to make discerning choices about our health and wellbeing - what are we consuming, both physically and mentally? What unhealthy habits can we let go of? It is an opportunity to look at acts of service - how and who we are in service too (compassionate Neptune in Pisces opposite the moon urges us to act on behalf of those who are underprivileged). A great time to get organised, spring clean (for those of you down under!) and prepare for the coming equinox and change in the seasons.

Hopefully at the end of this Venus retrograde we are better able to value ourselves and relate to ourselves and one another... Pay attention to your dreams! Tuesday's full moon in Aquarius shines a light on our friendship groups, social networks and community. Who/what is our tribe? What is our role within it? Venus retrograde in Leo encourages us to review our relationship with our own self worth and to have courage to express our unique selves, quirks and all. Ruling planet Saturn is in Pisces, potentially giving us intuitive insights about our future, whilst Mars and Mercury in Virgo are helping us to power through our to-do lists and getting things done - just don't sweat the small stuff whilst you're at it!

This new moon is soft, sensitive, caring and creative - a great time for gently holding space for your emotions and that of your loved ones, for letting emotions that arise flow and be expressed creatively where possible. Pay attention to your dreams as dreamy Neptune is in the mix. Venus retrograde is coming (she will retrograde next Sunday 23rd for 40 days or so), so get ready for a summer of reviewing, revising, revisiting relationships from the past including patterns, beliefs, feelings. Past loves and lovers may re-appear and it will also be a great time to re-visit your relationship with what you value, your finances and your self worth.

Monday's full moon in Capricorn gives us an opportunity to review our goals and ambitions that we set back in Jan 2022 and 2023 (our new year's resolutions...) to track our progress, notice our achievements and feel into whether our goals have changed or values shifted during that time. The sun and Mercury in Cancer are true homebodies, emotionally intelligent and intuitive (pay attention to your dreams!! Particularly as Neptune has just gone direct) - inviting us to listen to our inner world, our emotions and intuitions - they may hold the key to manifesting our goals and dreams and making these a reality.

Sunday's full moon in Sagittarius may shed a light on our beliefs and values - are these serving us? Can we be open to different perspectives?
The optimistic ruling planet Jupiter is conjunct the north node in Taurus, reaching toward the future with a promise of better things to come. Hope and optimism abound (at last!)
Venus opposes Pluto - beware illicit/unwise desires or object of desires... buried tensions in relationships may bubble up to the surface too, power plays are possible.
Meanwhile Mars is charging through Leo and Venus preparing to join him, potentially bringing us a summer of love/creativity/fun/chilling with children/promoting your unique self... or a summer of temper tantrums, attention seeking, drama - choose consciously!

Today's new moon is fertile ground - what do you want to grow in your life? A great opportunity to manifest what you want to create - leaning into the intuitive, creative, dreamy planets in water signs -Venus, Mars, Saturn and Neptune - and the abundant support of Jupiter and the eclectic inspiration of Uranus in Taurus. Time to take a breather after the eclipses and take time to smell the roses - what and who are you grateful for? Pluto, the (dwarf) planet that relates to power and secrets turns retrograde for five months - a great time to (re)consider our relationship to power and authority. Meanwhile, Friday brings a lunar eclipse in Scorpio.
Lunar eclipses herald significant endings and, with Uranus involved, surprise information coming to light. Scorpio is a sign which is all-too-familiar with endings. This eclipse could bring up intense feelings around loss, death, endings, power and control and an opportunity for a profound shedding of old ways, patterns and relationships that no longer serve us.
This eclipse packs a punch and will be felt collectively for the next six months. Irrespective of the external turbulence, it's a great time to connect to your inner power and authority - the manipura (solar plexus) chakra is the one to work with in your yoga practices and meditations.
Join me for a lunar eclipse in Scorpio Holy Fire reiki experience on Thursday 4 May at 7-7.45pm (EDT) - contact me for the link.

Lots happening this week! Tomorrow's solar eclipse in Aries at around 5am UK time encourages us to initiate, to start, to lead, to have courage, whilst the square to Pluto cautions us to examine our motivations - are we acting with integrity? It could be an intense time emotionally so give yourself (and others) a break! Then a few hours later the sun moves into Taurus heralding Taurus season, and the next day Mercury retrogrades in Taurus, giving us an opportunity to re-vise, re-visit, re-connect to Taurean themes of values, worth, resources, finances, the earth, the body. Great time to re-establish (another 're' word) grounding practices and connecting to nature and food in a simple and thoughtful way.

This full moon shines a light on our relationships, where are we avoiding conflict? Where does a discussion need to take place? Can we hold both our needs and that of the other person's into consideration and with equal importance? Mars in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces sextiling Mercury suggest the opportunity for conflict in family dynamics, between parental figures and children - pay attention to your interactions with your parental figures and your children over the coming days. Chiron alongside the sun in Aries suggests an opportunity for healing in relationship(s) whilst Venus and Mercury in Taurus are supporting slow, grounded conversations and conflict-resolution.

Welcome Aries season! This year's Spring Equinox is immediately followed by a new moon in Aries, with a supporting cast of Mercury, Jupiter and Chiron also in Aries (and next month we have a solar eclipse in Aries too...) We're being invited to be brave, take action to break through our limitations, to start afresh, with a real focus on new beginning and initiations. Exciting! What do you want to birth at this time? Feel the fear and do it anyway!
This week (commencing 20 March) is a HUGE week astrologically, with heavyweight planet Pluto moving into Aquarius on 23 March, starting a 20 year cycle, and Mars moving into Cancer on 25 March, leaving Gemini after an epic 8 months. More new beginnings! Hold on to your hats and lean into Venus in slow, gentle Taurus, inviting us to ground, go back to basics, to take our time and enjoy simple pleasures.

This full moon in Virgo invites us to remain grounded and connected to our physical health and the routines that support us amidst the potential emotional overwhelm of the Sun/Mercury/Neptune in Pisces. Mars in Gemini is squaring this full moon, so angry words may be expressed - try not to react and say anything you may later regret! We are at the end of the astrological year with lots of opportunity to release and let go of what no longer serves us as we are the on the brink of dynamic new beginnings. It can be emotionally and energetically intense over the coming weeks so do take good care of yourselves with supportive daily practices!
Welcome Pisces season! We are divine limitless beings but also human! We are all one but we also need healthy boundaries! Confused? take time out to reflect, retreat, get creative, dreamy, romantic, just don't lose yourself in unhealthy escapism. Saturn is closely involved, inviting us to commit to doing the work to create our dream and make it reality.

Today's full moon in Cancer shines its light on our childhood and our memories (hello nostalgia!) and raises questions around how, what and who nurtures us, what, where and who is our home and our family. Memories and emotions may arise for us to gently witness, release and/or work through. This weekend is a good time to get cosy at home with your family (be they biological or chosen) and be gentle with yourself, your feelings and with others.
Mercury is stationing today (29 Dec) retrograde where it will be for the next 3 weeks. You may need to re-do things (perhaps more than once as Mars is still retrograde in Gemini, a sign that Mercury rules so is also impacted by this retrograde...), re-view, re-vise, re-consider. It is a good time to tie up loose ends with projects you've already started, to review your year just gone, your commitments, your finances, your structures, your communications. It's inviting us to reflect, to journal, to take it easy for the first few weeks of the year. Let's take this opportunity to pause before life gets busy again later in 2023...
Happy winter solstice! Happy Capricorn season! Happy new moon! There's a lot of new initiatory energy this year as Jupiter, the planet of expansion, growth and faith has just entered Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac, where it is squaring this new moon in sensible, serious Capricorn - cautioning us to plan, budget and be clear about how we are going to practically realise our goals and projects before we launch into them.
We are being invited to consider what and who we are committing to, where can we take on or relinquish responsibilites, what do we need to delegate? Check in with your elders, mentors, older support figures, they may have some wise words to support you this season.

Tomorrow's full moon in Aries is conjunct (next to) Chiron, the asteroid that relates to our wounds and to healing. The new moon in Libra joins Venus and Mercury (retrograde) to invite us to revise, review and reconsider our relationships and how we relate to others. We are encouraged to reflect on what practical steps we can take to rebalance our give and take in relationships. How can we ensure that both our needs and that of the other person are expressed, heard and honoured?
The full moon in Pisces (11am UK time Sat 10 Sep) brings themes of endings, surrender, compassion, grief. It is conjunct Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces, which represents water, tears and the media. In the UK and around the world we are witnessing and experiencing grief on a big scale, as well as differing opinions - Mars in Gemini is encouraging us to recognise other points of view even if we don't agree with them. The full moon takes place just after Mercury turned to go retrograde in Libra, asking us to review, reconsider, reconnect and renegotiate in our relationships over the coming weeks as well as deal with changing plans and a need to double check communications and that you and the person you are talking with are on the same page around what you are saying to each other - misunderstandings are likely to occur!
Virgo season encourages us to be discerning with our time and energy, to plan, organise and pay attention to our daily routines be they related to work or wellness. Saturday's new moon in this sign is asking us to make plans, to be humble, be of service, and get organised. The moon is squaring Mars (planet of action, passion, energy) in Gemini - a combination which means our energy might be split 100 different ways, our minds in overdrive, potentially losing ourselves in idle gossip/chitchat/Netflix binges. The ruling planet of both the new moon in Virgo and Mars in Gemini is Mercury, which is currently in Libra, suggesting that above all we want to strive for balance, harmony and diplomacy in our daily lives and in our communications.
This full moon in Aquarius is sidled up with serious Saturn (one of its rulers), challenging us to revisit themes relating to responsibility, duty, authority figures as well as friendship groups, rebelliousness, technology and social networks. The square to the lunar nodes indicate fated shifts and challenges and an opportunity to release old patterns and the moon is also squaring Uranus (the other ruler of the lunation) which brings external insights, flashes of inspiration and hopefully opportunities for do or see things in a different way.
This year's new moon in Leo asks us to be creative, proud, and, unusually for Leo, to embrace change. This year's chart contains the once-in-a-lifetime Uranus-Mars-North node conjunction in Taurus - where shocking, surprising, enlightening divine insights and inspirations may bring us unexpected news and ways of seeing things. The moon is supported by expansive Jupiter in Aries, encouraging us to initiate and take action however we also need to take a moment to pause before we take action as the choices we are making now are pivotal for our life's direction.
This full moon is a big one! Both literally and figuratively. The moon and Pluto in Capricorn are inviting us to recognise our power, to make decisions about our work in the world. Neptune sextiling the moon asks us to dream big and pay attention to our dreams and intuition and the South Node sextiling the moon wants us to release old unhealthy emotional/financial/energetic entanglements with other people (likely to be family, or chosen-family members). Uranus trining the moon is likely to shake us out of our safety zone crab shell and give us new inspiration and ideas on how we want to show up in the world.
These weekly updates will be bi-weekly from now on. This can change again in future as my health improves and if this is wanted! This week's new moon in Cancer is encouraging us to express and release our emotions (creatively where possible!). It is also an opportunity to reflect on what home and family mean to us and what we want to create relating to our chosen home and family. Chiron is in the mix, meaning old (childhood?) wounds are possibly arising, but it's also a fantastic opportunity to heal anything that arises and to reflect on and release old familial/ancestral patterns that do not serve us.
'There's a place' by Joe Holtaway - a very Cancerian song in my opinion!
Where do you go when you're on your own
and your far from home
where do you go...?
Where do we rest when everything's a mess
all is more the less, where do we rest... ?
There's a place where there are trees there
and there's water running through
close your eyes child
and find that place in youArtwork by ALW Clarke

Tues 21 June is the start of Cancer season and the summer (or winter for those down under...) solstice. Despite the yang energy of the start of summer, we're being encouraged to go within, to connect to home, family, our childhood and ancestry. Cancer is also a sign known for its caring, nurturing, feeling and nostalgic nature, prompting an opportunity to reflect on how we are demonstrating our care for others and whether we are caring for ourselves.

Mercury is direct! Woo hoo! However Saturn, planet of responsibility, duty, karma and authority is now retrograde until October, giving us time to internally process these themes whilst Saturn the teacher is out of the classroom. What homework has Saturn set for you?
Monday's full moon in Sagittarius is squaring Neptune and sextiling Saturn, potentially indicating an opportunity to release (full moon) confusion (Neptune) around a decision we are making (sun in Gemini) to commit to something/someone (Saturn). Where are we being too dogmatic in our thinking? (shadow side of Sag... sorry Sag!)

Mercury, the ruler of this Gemini new moon is currently retrograde in Taurus, interacting with Neptune giving us an opportunity for healing through listening, dialogue and creative self expression, Saturn (watch out for any ‘no’s or challenging communication with authority figures), and Pluto, which gives us an opportunity for deep discussions tackling difficult subjects. Sometimes difficult conversations need to be had so we can move on…

Time to get curious, ask questions, make small talk, contradict yourself in the same sentence, connect and reconnect with friends and have fun (phew!)

Time to purge what is no longer serving you! This total lunar eclipse packs a punch, squaring Saturn it asks us to take responsibility for our healing, and with ruler Mars conjunct Neptune we are invited to act upon our desire to go for our dreams.
This year’s Taurus new moon is also a solar eclipse indicating major shifts and changes afoot over the coming months in our value systems, our finances, our food, our physical bodies and the environment. Uranus is shaking this solar eclipse up, expect the unexpected! The ruler of the eclipse Venus is in dreamy, romantic Pisces encouraging us to reflect, retreat and feel compassion for ourselves and others, whilst Pluto is stationing retrograde, inviting us to go deep within.

Welcome to Taurus season, this year as well as being invited to slow down, ground ourselves and connect to the earth and life’s simple pleasures, we. still have four planets in dreamy Pisces urging us to drift, dream, rest and recuperate. We are gearing up for two upcoming eclipses AND a Mercury retrograde, adding some dynamic shifts and stops and starts to what is usually a slow and steady month.
This full moon in Libra shines a light on our relationships, how we are expressing our needs, managing conflict and whether we are striking a balance between ourselves and others. The sun and moon are squaring Pluto, so we need to acknowledge any pain or intense emotions that are arising and not bypass it with the Piscean bliss state of escapism that Venus (the full moon’s ruler) could be prone to. Rather we are being invited to harness the Piscean compassion and healing for ourselves and our closest relationships.
On Tuesday 12 April planet of expansion, belief and optimism Jupiter meets with planet of dreams, intuition and illusion Neptune in the sign they co-rule - Pisces. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to dream big, get creative and surrender to our spiritual path and the great unknown.

Today's new moon in Aries invites us to initiate, start new projects and create anew. It's time to express ourselves and go for what we want, but with a warning from ruler Mars in Aquarius (collective, communities, social networks) conjunct Saturn (restriction, 'no', boundaries) that we also need to be aware of our place in the context of the groups, communities and society that we live in - can we balance our individual passions and desires with the needs of the wider collective we are a part of?
*Apologies for the absence of last week's recording - I was in the process of moving house.

It's the 13th and final full moon of the astrological year! A great time for releasing, letting go, shedding bad habits and reviewing our wellness routines whilst going with the flow and opening up to new inspiration, self-compassion and creative healing.
Mercury, the planet that relates to communication and our thought processes has waded into the depths of Pisces for the next two weeks. This is a great time to rest, surrender, listen to our dreams and intuition and express ourselves creatively.
Venus (values) and Mars (aggression) have met up with Pluto (power, death, secrets) in Capricorn- we are seeing this play out quite literally on the global stage. However Venus and Mars are about to move into Aquarius (equality, humanity, rebellion) and the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune are in Pisces highlighting our interconnectivity, empathy and compassion - we can tap into feelings of hope and faith for a fairer future for all
Wednesday's new moon in Pisces brings an opportunity for connecting with the invisible threads of humanity, healing, compassion and divinity and for bathing in our soul's dreams.
Grounded by Venus and Mars in earthy Capricorn and with Mercury and Saturn structuring social networking it's a great time to launch new projects related to spirituality, to healing, to group-work and communities. One example is my friend Giulietta's new 'moon lodge' initiative where she is holding space for women to connect virtually during their monthly bleed https://www.hormonesinharmony.co.uk/moon-cave-retreat
Welcome to Pisces season, a time for compassion, empathy, intuition and inspired creativity. Watch out for spiritual bypassing, drifting into confusion or escapism and pay attention to your feet!
This week expect some deep conversations as Mercury and Pluto join in Capricorn, meanwhile we have a Leo full moon on Weds 16 Feb which is a great time to connect to our hearts, to love, joy, creativity and playfulness.
Mercury the mischevious planet of communication, choices, short distance travel, negotiations and siblings moves direct today, meaning all the planets are moving direct finally. Woo hoo! Time to take action and move ahead after months of reflection. Meanwhile the lunar nodes have shifted from Gemini-Sagittarius to Taurus-Scorpio creating an energetic shift for the next 18 months as we collectively release, heal and grieve (Scorpio) and focus on our values, our physical bodies, our food systems, financial systems and the planet (Taurus)
This episode looks at the sign of Aquarius, which is the sign of the humanitarian and the revolutionary - this new moon (which takes place at 5am Tues 1 Feb UK time) will give us an opportunity to set intentions and goals around our friendship groups and social networks - what is our role in the tribe? Where do we feel trapped vs where can we break free?
This update highlights that despite being in Aquarius season, there is still a strong Capricorn emphasis. When it was recorded (29 Jan) all of the 'personal planets' (Mercury, Venus, Mars), plus the moon are all in the sign of Capricorn, and with Venus stationing to go direct we are getting more of a chance to build, construct, work our way through our to-do lists towards our goals and ambitions. Jupiter is also in Pisces, reminding us to be compassionate to ourselves and others and pay attention to our dreams!!
This full moon is particularly sensitive. The themes that may be emerging for us at this full moon may relate to: our families, past, ancestry, childhood and how we nurture and are nurtured. It offers a great opportunity to nurture and care for ourselves and to heal and release any emotional baggage from the past we are ready to let go of.
It's the first Mercury retrograde of 2022! Time for delays, mis-understandings, mis-communications and broken technology, no? Well, yes but it's also a great opportunity to review, research and reconnect!
Jupiter, the planet of expansion, growth, hope and optimism has just moved into Pisces a sign associated with spirituality, compassion and creativity. It will be in Pisces until May 2022 - so the next 5 months are a great opportunity to connect to your dreams, intuitions, music, creativity and your spiritual path.
Happy new year! Welcome to 2022, with this new moon in serious, organised Capricorn it's the perfect time to set your new years resolutions, intentions and goals. Or is it? With Uranus in the mix we may want to rebel and do our own thing...
This week the Sun has moved into the serious sign of Capricorn, where it joins Mercury, Venus (retrograde) and Pluto. We also face the final Saturn-Uranus square of 2021, a clash between two very different and very fixed ideas and agendas.
Early Sunday morning (19th) December GMT we have a full moon in Gemini, indicating heightened emotions around important choices to be made and potentially new insights and information coming to light
This week Sagittarius season is energised by the movement of Mars into the sign, whilst Mercury planet of Communications and thought processes moves into the more pragmatic sign of Capricorn, where Venus (our values, relationships) and Pluto (secrets, power, transformation) currently reside. Whilst we are focusing on the bigger picture, exploring new ideas, beliefs and teachings we are also being asked to remain pragmatic about practical considerations and limitations.
