Join the District Governor line as we discuss the great work Rotarians are doing around the state of Georgia and beyond.
Even though she didn't race, Andre's team from Thomasville and Griffin beat the team from Roswell in the Pony Prix on Thursday evening. So far we are having a blast learning about the good being done around District 6900, seeing old friends and making new ones.
One of the best parts of any time we get together is seeing old Rotary friends and making new ones. We just had District Assembly and we'll be headed to Conference in a couple weeks. It's always those side bar conversations or the time in a hospitality suite where our next ideas for service come to fruition.
Never heard of a satellite club? Neither had we until DG Mary brought them to our attention. Both Thomasville and Roswell are in the process of starting up clubs for young professionals that meet in the evening instead of their traditional lunch time. Each club will start with 10-15 new members which will give our district membership numbers a big boost!
We were so worn out from PETS we didn't get a podcast in last week but it was worth it. It is always fun to meet new people from around the district and beyond. Check out some of our take aways...
