All things camping, camper vans, motorhomes, camp sites and roadtrip reviews. A podcast for the camper van and camping enthusiast with an interest in the great outdoors, local produce, heritage, family friendly activities, festivals and of course local hospitality and some tunes. Based in Ireland with an eye on the world.
In this special episode, Vanhalla Camper Heaven is guesting on the popular KCLR radio show, 'On the Move' hosted by James Lakes, a fellow motorhome enthusiast. We are also joined by experienced motorhomer, Aaron Burchael who documents his travels on his Charlie and Me video channel.
We talk about the options and opportunities to hit the road this year, considering campsites and other park-ups, travelling abroad by ferry and the options for hiring a motorhome to get a taste of campervan lifestyle.
Interestingly, there are contrasting views on whether it's best to take the highway or the byways when on the road; whether to seek out activities in the great outdoors of simply chill out and relax and differences of options too on the joys of cooking in the motorhome or not!!
We had great fun doing the programme and hope you enjoy and find it useful also.
A big thank you to James and KCLR for inviting Vanhalla on the show.
It gets us off the mark with the first of what will hopefully be many new podcasts for our campervan adventures and camper heaven in 2023...
