In the 3rd chapter of the Book of Revelation, Jesus describes the ”Church of Philadelphia” and highly commends the practice of their faith. That should be our goal as followers of the Messiah, as well; to walk as He walked in such a way that He likewise commends us for our own ”Philly faith”.
Join us weekly as we discuss a multitude of topics related to what that walk should look like in practice, Biblically speaking. Let’s talk the walk with Jesus together in pursuit of that Philly faith!
In this episode the Roundtable stop their pre recorded conversation to start recording and talk about what it's like with God In Control. What's some things that we take back? What's some things we don't mind Him having? Planned but unplanned conversation starts this topic. We hope this blesses you as well as it blessed the round table.
In this episode the round table discuss struggling with self doubt. What are some of their past and latest self doubts that have stopped them in their tracks. Most importantly, how do they move past them?
In this episode, the round table talk about what it's like to Be Different in Christ and what that should look like. How did they look at Christians or church goers before their walk and what ultimately changed?
In this episode the round table discuss what it's live to love during their trials. Some even share some of their hardest stories while others listen in with love. This is a tear filled episode so grab a box of Kleenex bc you as the listener might need it also.We hope this blesses you in the way you need it. We don't have anything good or amazing to say but God does and He decides to use us anyway.
It's time to dig deep again!
Side A: We begin this week by taking a few moments to discuss the pain and heartache we each see people, as a whole, experiencing, and how it is that we should respond to that in a way that demonstrates the hope we have in Yeshua (Jesus). Following that, we briefly summarize the first three parts in our Foundations study series before kicking off this fourth and final part by talking about holiness (1 Peter 1:12-16). What does it look like in the life of the believer to be “holy as [He] is holy”?
Featured Song: "Rose in the Road" by ASAP Preach
Side B: After our mid-episode break, we dig into the incredible account of Caleb from the Book of Numbers chapters 13 through 14 to evaluate what it looks like to be wholehearted in our faith, trust, and dedication to the Most High. Will we stand up for what our Eternal Father says is right, or will we shrink back from the promise? Caleb gave his whole heart to the Father. Have we?
Thanks for listening! We pray this is a blessing to you!

In this episode the roundtable discuss what it would be like to live with arms wide open instead of pointing the finger and passing the blame and judgment. It's like the famous John Coffey (sounds like the drink but spelled different ma'am) quote. I'm tired boss. I'm real tired of people being ugly with each other. How should we act? Sure, like Jesus but what does that actually look like in our everyday lives? Thanks for listening and we hope that something said in this episode blesses you the way God intends it.
It's time to dig deep again!
Side A: We begin this week by talking about conviction from sin. What is that experience like and what is the purpose of it? That leads us into a discussion on the Spirit’s role in that process of directing us back to the Father, and away from those things that separate us from Him.
Featured Song: "Outlaw" by Marty Ray Project
Side B: In this third part in our Foundations study, we dig into how it is the Spirit leads us to properly build upon our faith. What does it look like when we fully commit to following in His guidance and direction in the New Covenant, according to the Word of the Almighty? To answer that, we primarily look at Ezekiel 36:22-38. You might be surprised at what we uncover.
Thanks for listening! We pray this is a blessing to you!

In this episode, the round table talk about giving God all their praise. This is a topic a long time in the making and to be honest. One that maybe we should have done a lot more! What does giving Him all our praise look like? What does it feel like? Is it a fairly easy thing to do? Listen in and find out where the conversation leads. Thanks for listening and we hope this blesses you as much as it did us.
In this episode the round table take a request to talk about Depression and Anxiety. Why is this topic so taboo to approach? What do these things feel like for our round tablers. What's the right answer? Is there one? Not only was the topic requested but also the willingness to be open and raw as well as little editing as promised. We hope this episode finds you well and brings you peace and comfort.
In this episode, the round table come back to a topic that they have talked about before. Fruit of the Spirit. Do they remember what they said last time? Which one they picked last time? How has things changed this time than the previous discussion about it and their trials. Thanks for taking the time to listen to us. We pray that this blesses you only the way He can bless you.
It's time to dig deep again!
Side A: In this episode, Micah starts us out with a conversation about worship. What is it, what does it look like, and why do we do it?
Featured Song: "Back to the Root" by Jordan Thomas
Side B: In our main topic this week, we dig into part two in our study on the foundation of our faith, this time contrasted with a deceptive opposing view of that Biblical foundation as presented in Andy Stanley’s book titled ‘Irresistible’. That leads us through Matthew chapters 5 (v. 13-20) and 22 (v. 34-40) to learn more about what Jesus, in His own Words, teaches us about the desired practice of our Christian walk. Is the popular view correct that the Law of the Father has little or nothing to do with defining our behavior in the New Covenant, or are we building out of alignment with the Chief Cornerstone?
Thanks for listening! We pray this is a blessing to you!

In this episode the round table head in to talk about Serving Or Being Served. What happens in this episode is just that. Some was having doubts about what was next and some served. The topic discussion might not of went the way that it was intended on paper or in the group text but what came out of it was real and raw. Some debated even airing this episode while others felt strongly that in this episode. You can't describe the topic any more clearly. We pray and hope that you, the listeners get something out of this episode because the people a round the table got more then they were prepared for. Thanks for listening!
It's time to dig deep again!
Opening Discussion: We begin this week by referencing the example of King Ahaz from 2 Chronicles 28:18-23 to talk about success, or how it is that success can lie to or mislead you. During that conversation, Mike and Sonny each open up about their own personal experiences with the topic and highlight how success can take on both positive and negative forms (even within the churches).
Featured Song: "Narrow Path" by Mike Maranatha
Main Topic: This week (in addition to some sidebar conversations, including one on Biblical dietary restrictions, which became an excellent example in how to disagree in a loving and respectful way) we start a multi-part study series called Foundations. In this first part we dig into Matthew 7:13-27 to see how Jesus defines a solid Biblical foundation. Have we drifted from that definition in the practice of our faith?
Thanks for listening! We pray this is a blessing to you!

This episode will be revisited later down the road to see how well they did. What's some Faith Challenges that you have put for yourself? Do you have anyone to keep you accountable in that challenge? If listen and would like to join the challenge as well then let us know and we can help keep you accountable if you would like. We hope this blesses you and finds you comfort in your journey walk with the Him.
It's time to dig deep again!
Opening Discussion: We begin by asking, did Jesus change the Law, or did He restore the intent of the Law, and what are the implications for believers when we answer that question correctly? That leads us to a conversation on what it means to be fully committed to the Good Shepherd and content with His providence.
Featured Song: "The Road" by Nicky Gracious
Main Topic: This week we dig into James chapter 4 with a primary focus on contentment. Through the course of our study, we discuss various points from the text, such as what it means to be blessed by the Eternal Father, the place of good deeds in the practice of our faith, the danger of covetousness, how it is we experience victory in our battles with the flesh, and what it means that the Most High is “jealous” for us.

It's time to talk the walk again!
Do we love people more than we love the Most High, and why does it matter?
We begin the final part in our discussion on the fork in the road we currently face by talking about that, and the dangers of replacing our love for Abba with a love of our sensibilities, celebrity pastors, the churches themselves, or even our neighbors. Loving our neighbor matters, or course, but it should never outweigh or outpace our love for the Father. Otherwise, we may find ourselves failing to properly love either. We also discuss how this practice of elevating our love for neighbor over our love for the Father inevitably leads to compromise against the commandments He gives for the sake of tolerance, unity, and likeability. A compromise that cracks and ultimately breaks our spiritual foundation.
Following our featured song for the week (see below), we continue in the bottom half of the episode by discussing our choice between life and death, losing our "first love", and an example from the kings of Judah (Jehoshaphat) who had likewise lost his first love in favor of his neighbor (Ahab), leading to compromise, along with how it is he course corrected in a big way to get that first love back again. Is Jehoshaphat a picture of the modern churches in this regard, and how can we learn from him in our own much needed course correction moving forward?
Be sure and stay tuned until the end to hear one last story from Carl's trip with a really cool and impactful spiritual connection for all of us.

It's time to talk the walk again!
We continue our discussion from last week, this time focusing upon why the Most High brings storms into our lives or upon our world. That brings us to a discussion on our own willful and intentional disregard of the Father's Commandments and instructions. As an example of this, we look into the mainstream pastoral misuse (and abuse) of an account recorded in both Matthew chapter 15 and Mark chapter 7, including an issue with many modern translations of that text.
Carl then shares the example of Samson to highlight his view of the underlying issue: that we are elevating our flesh and its desires over and above the Spirit and His leading. In other words, we are choosing the flesh over the Spirit in our handling of the Commandments. What will it take to get our attention to correct that behavior?
Following this and our featured song (see below), Carl closes the episode out by sharing more of what was laid upon him during his trip to Yellowstone in July, this time related to the number 40.

It's time to talk the walk again!
Are we seeking to advance the Name of the Most High, or our own?
We begin this week by discussing that vital question, how that relates to humility, and what it means to bend low in order to reach higher. Chris then shares how Abba used his Amazon Music playlist to teach him a powerful lesson on the importance of sanctifying everything in our lives to His standard.
During the bottom half of the episode, following our featured song (see below), we talk about the Obadiah who served in the evil King Ahab's palace (1 Kings 18), and the delicate balance he had to walk as a servant of the Most High surrounded by wickedness in order to rescue as many of Abba's people as he could; we compare that to Oskar Schindler; then Carl highlights the passage declaring that in their search for springs of water, Obadiah went one way while Ahab went another.
We continue by discussing how this paints a picture for us of the spiritual fork in the road we all face, how Abba uses metaphorical (or literal) storms to turn people back from going in the wrong direction, and we close with a warning pressed upon Carl about a coming storm for our own waywardness — both inside and outside of the churches.

It's time to talk the walk again!
This week, Chris shares his testimony regarding a long-running struggle with purpose, and an answered prayer relating to the podcast and his own walk with Jesus. That leads to a conversation on the two natures, the war that rages within each of us, and our need to surrender it to the Most High to fight the battle for us.
During the bottom half of the episode, following our featured song (see below), we discuss a curious passage in 2nd Chronicles chapter 32, "...God left [Hezekiah] alone only to test him, so that He might know everything that was in his heart." (v. 31)
What does that mean, why does the Most High use such testing to reveal the content of our hearts, and how can or should we grow in our faith walk through such testing?
Carl connects his answer to these questions with the Exodus account detailing the Most High leading His people on a rough and winding road, followed by committing them to the desert experience, and why He chose to do so.

It's time to talk the walk again!
In this week's episode, we primarily focus upon answering the question, "Why does the Most High allow suffering, along with the underlying cause of suffering — sin?"
In doing so, we discuss the Father's moral absolutism, His desire for true relationship, the inevitability of bad choices resulting from those two realities (sin), and the subsequent need to deal with the sin issue. So, what does that mean for us?
Stay tuned to the bottom half of the episode, following our featured song (see below), to hear Carl share his wife's testimony on suffering and where it led her, followed by a connection with the "thief" on the Cross.

It's time to talk the walk again!
In the top half of this week's episode, we discuss various topics, including those occasions when unity becomes impossible, the importance of "running the race" cooperatively and without self-seeking, the very real power of the Spirit, and the difference between being "called" and being "chosen".
After the break, we continue our discussion from last week regarding the "mark" of the Most High; this time focusing upon the counterfeit "mark", and how it has made its way into the Body of believers.

It's time to talk the walk again!
In the top half this week we discuss our Redeemer's love for us, how that love works in tandem with (not against) His holiness, and we link that to a lesson and a cautionary tale regarding the Brass Serpent from the Book of Numbers chapter 21.
During the bottom half of the episode (following this week's featured song) we dig into the Mark, but not the "Mark of the Beast". We discuss the Mark of the Most High. Does He have a "mark" for us? What is it? And are we wearing it?
The answers might shock you. It involves the Sabbath, the Passover, and the Law...
