Amber Hudler brings a fantastic voice to our show as we discuss women in ministry — the why it matters and how churches can make a way. Now more than ever, we need all hands on deck to share the Gospel. Amber serves as the kids minister at First Baptist Church Owasso and has served the church in a variety of teaching and leadership roles.

As followers of Jesus, we should really lean into the depth of who Jesus is and how He taught. Join us today to hear from Peter Williams, a renowned Bible scholar and teacher at the Tyndale House Cambridge in the UK, a place where Bible scholars from around the world gather to dive deeply into the Word of God. In his most recent book, The Surprising Genius of Jesus, Williams explains how Jesus spoke to teach both the most simple of audiences, while also referencing things the greatest of scholars could have caught.

Peter also addresses some Q&A style questions, like what resources pair well to understand scripture more fully and how should we respond as Bible following Christians to the LGBTQ+ movement.

Trey Shaw is an IMB missionary in Budapest, Hungary. He is currently writing his dissertation on why Christians should think about death differently and why we should even think about our own end. Trey believes that as Christians, we need to take Christ at his Word and accept that we have an end. We choose obedience to God when we acknowledge our mortality because we believe that He has defeated death, so we don't have reason to fear it.

Grief isn't something we can always prepare for, but when we have hope in the eternal salvation found in Jesus, not all is lost when things fall apart.
