Students at Christ University (Deemed to be a university) started a radio program as part of the audio production course. This individual program is Travel that has been produced by students. As part of their academic program, students create radio projects every week.

For this week’s project, group 3 of MAMCS A did Travel. After background research, the destination of Talakadu and Somnathpur was decided upon. The main focus was to highlight a place that is conveniently near Bangalore yet not much mainstream. This historical place fit the criteria perfectly.

Travel is a very spiritual way to connect to oneself. This is a story of a homemaker set in early 2000’s, it express the internal state of her mind, how she finds her escape and travels on a spiritual self exploration journey, where she finds, that may what come she loves her mundane life which gives her a sense a comfort, a safe space, a sense of affection from the people she is related to, a place that she can call her home. This is a story highlighting the importance of internal travel, a way where you can give yourself some time to know yourself to know why you need to spend some time with yourself.
