Sounds clickbait right? It's not. I've lived this formula as an 18, 19, 20, 21 years old with no qualification, no experience and no funds to start with.
The Formula allowed me to :
Live in France & Austria plus travel across Thailand, Vietnam, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and many more, all while being financially better off than when I started.
I truly wish that every young person who listens to this episode really takes onboard the knowledge because it was the best 4 years I could've imagined possible and I would love for you to have the same memories which last a lifetime.

Ski Holidays in a big group is great fun!
It does however come with its challenges. Often, some of the group are avid skiers (and skied since they took thier first steps) and others may be completely new to the sport.
When the group hasn't made a plan on how to overcome this - it causes FRUSTRATION and / or INJURIES.
From years of first hand experience living on the mountains, I will unpick a couple of good advice on how to make sure everyone is happy and is skiing on terrain that they are comfortable with.

A literal ICON of mine! I've watched Stan's Salomon TV and GoPro ski films ever since I learnt to ski and had the privilege to sit down and talk to him this week about all things mountain related.
We discuss more recent cultural ski trips to Japan & Georgia, his career and how his immediate family had passed on their DNA which has shaped Stan into becoming the pro skier that he is.

Imagine convincing a colleague in a ski resort that the hotel you worked at had adopted a cat - to the point that we had to tell her the cat never existed, before her allergic reaction to this long haired feline had actually caused an emergency.
That's the placebo effect in full force...and also one of my funniest season mates.

Mainly, we got to ski nearly as much as Ski Instructors BUT without the upfront £7,000 training fees...this ones free - well in fact you get paid to train!

This episode is all about booking a ski holiday on BUDGET!
As everything keeps inflating in price, we are generally becoming more frugile with our money. No better time to explore the alternative resorts which, although are less popular, are better value for 'dosh'.
Upon lengthy research, with help from Lonely Planet, Europe's Cheapest Ski resort lies in the heart of the Bulgarian mountain range, Borovets. Way more information inside the podcast episode on this hotspot for budgeters - but I will mention the accommodation I found through Booking.com 'Villa Sueti Dimitar'. Looks to be great value!
On the other hand, jet setting for 12 hours from the UK lands you in Georgia, with the optimal ski resort being Gudaira. Again, the accommodation on Booking.com is called 'White Rhino Hostel' - so cheap too!
I hope you pick up some good tips along the way. Using Skyscanner for flights, Booking.com for accommodation, and general advice from Tripadvisor is always a good shout when planning these sort of trips!
