Cory is awful to me, and to help make amends, Blayne decides that the three of us should go on a hiking trip. In the middle of the trip, Cory decides to leave me behind as a cruel prank, and Blayne goes along with it. I’m lost in the woods but I find my way out. Blayne makes it up to me, promising that once he’s brave enough to come out, we won’t have any problems. I believe his lies until Cory bullies me at school and Blayne just stands there and watches. To get back at him, I convince Blayne to meet me in the woods for a romantic night. I trick him into getting lost, and the only way someone can pick him up is if he calls Cory and explains why he’s there.

It continues destroying things, including my big project for work. I’m pissed, but Henry cares more about HIS job and HIS imminent promotion. He invites his boss over for dinner (I have to cook, of course), and I sabotage it by bringing the cat back inside (which is what Henry wanted) and letting the cat destroy both the dinner and any hope for Henry’s promotion.

My friend Doug is supportive during all of this, and we start dating. He invites me to his family’s beach house for the break. I try one more time to reason with Dad, but when he still refuses to see me as his daughter, I take my mom and brothers and we have a great vacation at Doug’s beach house. He promises to make it up to me, so my best friend Sandra convinces me to get him to speak at my hearing in front of the school board. He feels guilty about what he did, so he agrees. But at the hearing, he’s a no-show, and I get suspended. I find out that Carl is secretly gay too, and he’s so afraid of outing HIMSELF that he didn’t show up.
