The enlightened journey of life.
The enLIFEned podcast is not just about personal development or spirituality, we are going deeper and broader and my gosh we are going to have a blast along the way.
I am all about living the enlightened journey of life. It’s funny because there’s so much talk about ‘enlightenment’ and by trying to reach that state of being, we end up bypassing life! We are here, on earth, in this time and space in human form and the time is so short, and you'll come away feeling motivated, empowered and inspired to live your best possible life!
You’re going to hear stories, musings, and experiences from me personally, and I will be interviewing some absolutely epic humans that I know you’re going to love. We’ll be going to places that will transform how you think, how you view the world and there will be invitations to dive deep and do some self-enquiry so that you can come away from each episode feeling nourished in your soul!
Nothing will be off the table here! Be prepared for some raw, authentic, and vulnerable discussions, very likely explicit language and some pretty out there and woo woo things!! I am a giver and I want to give you so much epicness, not only through the airwaves but I will be releasing exclusive content for listeners to access AND prizes and giveaways!

Kelly is an ex-personal trainer turned transformational coach specializing primarily in body image and relationships with food. After being a personal trainer for several years, she dove deeply into personal development - originally for her mental health and for the success of her business - and started to realize that her perceived healthy lifestyle as a fitness trainer and nutritionist was just a very convenient way to disguise an eating disorder and abusive relationship with herself. Her journey of reconnecting back with herself beyond the conditioning of diet culture, the fitness industry and entrepreneurship was the groundwork for the work she does today in coaching women to feel at home inside of themselves and their bodies.
In this episode Jen and Kelly discuss:
Coaching is a journey of personal and professional development, and coaches often evolve their approach based on their own experiences and growth.
Many women struggle with self-criticism, self-doubt, and comparison, which can be traced back to early experiences of shame, rejection, and not fitting in.
Media and movies play a significant role in shaping body image and self-worth, often promoting unrealistic standards and reinforcing harmful beliefs.
Creating lasting change requires an integrated approach that includes examining beliefs, addressing subconscious programming, and embracing all aspects of oneself, including the shadow side. Give yourself permission to be and let go of self-judgment in order to explore your desires and motivations.
Affirmations and mantras are powerful tools, but they must align with your beliefs and be supported by compassionate self-awareness.
Acceptance of oneself and one's patterns is crucial for transformation, as it allows for a deeper understanding and the ability to make aligned choices.
Transformation starts from within and requires a shift in mindset and beliefs, as well as taking aligned action.
Identify and address subconscious fears and beliefs that may be holding you back from achieving your goals.
Finding meaning and purpose in life involves a balance between self-discovery and being present in the human experience.

In her ‘past life’, and for over 10 years, Amayra was busy climbing the corporate ladder until she hit her lowest health point – she burnt herself out and ended up in hospital.
After she was released from hospital, Amayra went from specialist to specialist to try to find answers to the long list of symptoms she was experiencing following her burnout. With each specialist appointment, Amayra became increasingly disempowered as she didn’t feel listened to – not one specialist was able to explain the root cause of her symptoms – rather, they kept prescribing her medication that yielded no results.
Amayra started to question every aspect of her life and realised that her time in the corporate world was over. She packed her bags and bought a one-way ticket to India to fulfil her dream of becoming a yoga teacher.
During her time in India, she became very sick and through a series of fortunate events, ended up at an Ayurvedic clinic. For Amayra, this was the beginning of the end because through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda she was able to connect the dots of her symptoms and find good health again.
Because of her first-hand experience with Ayurveda, and realising the power of this ancient medicine, Amayra went on to study Ayurveda. She now realises that her health challenges were a gift because it’s something she had to overcome to get to where she is today so that she can share her message from a place of experience, love, and compassion.
Amayra now understands that her Dharma (soul’s mission) is to help women holistically optimise their health so they can glow from the inside out. She loves working with women and seeing the progress and transformation they achieve through their hard work and commitment to change.
Amayra aims to empower women to see their kitchen as their pharmacy, sleep as medicine, movement as well-being, mindfulness practices as a powerful tool, self-care as vital and connection to Pachamama as healing.
Amayra is now based in Peru and a big part of her healing journey has been plant medicine. Through plant medicine she has been able to heal health issues, childhood traumas and has tapped into self-love and acceptance. She works at an Ayahuasca retreat centre and sees first hand the big impact plant medicine has on people. She understands that plant medicine is not for everyone and encourages only those who are ready.
In this episode Jen and Amayra discuss
What Ayahuasca is and why people sit in ceremony with it
The Spirit associated with Ayahuasca
Jen and Amayra shared their personal experiences with plant medicine and ceremonies
How to know when plant medicine is calling you
Amayra shares her journey that’s taken her to Peru to live and work at an Ayahuasca retreat
The importance of the dieta and the lead up to ceremonies, as well as the integration process afterwards
They discuss sacred sexuality and relating with a partner you want to energetically align with

Welcome to season 2 of the enLIFEned podcast!
To kick off a new season I am sharing the sh!tshow that was 2023 for me, which included a conscious-uncoupling (or a breakup as the lame kids say!), a Mary Magdalene retreat in the south of France, coupled with an absolute nightmare of an experience in Paris with my Mum prior to the retreat and afterwards.
In this episode I share my deepest feelings that I've never shared before when visiting the cave of eggs in Sainte-Baume in France, how Mary Magdalene had come to me during a medicine ceremony the previous year and I wasn't ready to work with her and then what unfolded for me to go on this trip. I also share details around the breakup I went through and how we made our uncoupling a sacred and soulful experience and I openly express all of the beautiful lessons I've learnt along the way!
The books I refer to in this episode are:
Mary Magdalene Revealed by Megan Watterson and Mary Magdalene Beckons: The Messages by Mercedes Kirk

Jamie is the author of 'Hope for the Hopeless' book.
About the book: Jimmy Blanco was one of the longest living survivors of the world’s deadliest brain cancer and he defied the odds without traditional medicine. In 1995, he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme grade IV and given less than four months to live. Given no hope of survival, Jimmy rejected chemotherapy and radiation and the doctor's death sentence for him. He self-treated with natural medicine, radically altered his diet, practiced visualization and other mental focus techniques, and had a healthy faith in God.
He fought EIGHT incredible years against the tumor and many doctors have called Jimmy’s story a miracle. He began writing a book about his journey but sadly did not finish it. Fifteen years after his death, his widow, Elizabeth, found the unfinished book he’d been writing and gave it to their daughter, Jamie. Now as an adult and award-winning journalist, Jamie knew what she had to do—complete her father’s work. She has investigated the biggest factors that contributed to her father’s miraculous remission and done a deep dive into the latest brain cancer research, both the great and the lacking.
