Entrepreneur Roei Samuel launches ‘Big Risk Energy’ podcast with star-studded guest list.

Former Dragon’s Den star Piers Linney among first guests to discuss how they approach and overcome risk.

London, X November 2022: Serial entrepreneur Roei Samuel has launched a brand-new podcast called Big Risk Energy to showcase the leaps of faith taken by some of the biggest names in the business world and beyond.

Roei, founder and CEO of startup ecosystem Connectd, built his first business RealSport into one of the biggest e-sports platforms globally, with over 8 million monthly unique users.

He has been an angel investor for the last five years and is passionate about mental health and neurodiversity, one of the reasons for launching his podcast. He’s now amassed an audience of over 20,000 followers on LinkedIn.

His first series of interviews include Dragon’s Den star Piers Linney, English rugby player Mike Brown, author Thom Elliot and ex-Depop and Deliveroo CMO, Yoann Pavy. He said: “Big Risk Energy will feature investors and entrepreneurs, academics and actors, musicians, politicians, scientists and everyone in between. I’ll be speaking to guests about the risks they’ve taken in their lives and careers, when they’ve paid off and when they haven’t, to educate and inspire listeners.”

Since its inception, Connectd has facilitated more than 26,000 connections between business founders, investors and business mentors, facilitating 1,200 funding rounds and placing more than 650 advisors.
