Today's episode is all about the Moon in Medical Astrology. This planet is the opposing energy of the Sun. So the Sun is hot and drying and the Moon is cooling and moistening. As the Moon governs the waters of the Earth, so she governs the waters of the body. We need the Moons influence to help bring hydration to the dehydrated areas of the body that the Sun creates.
The Moon is associated with the Yin, receptive, or feminine energy. She is receptive of the Sun's radiance so she can shine brightly in the night sky. Without that, she has no light of her own. She is the Queen to the Sun's King.

The Sun is our vital force, our life battery, and governs our cardiovascular system, our heart, our eyes, and our thymus gland.
It rules Leo and the Summer season. As far as AstroNutrition goes it has governance over Vitamins A and D and Minerals Magnesium and Iodine. Without these very important vitamins and minerals, our bodies can not function properly. When low this leads to sooo many health problems.
When in positive aspect in the chart, one is confident, humble, full of vitality, and cheerful. When in a negative aspect, one is egotistical, overbearing, rude, shy, negative, and/or depressed.
The Sun governs Rosemary, St John's Wort, Ginger, Hawthorn, Schizandra, and ashwagandha. All very important herbs for so many of the Sun ruled body systems.
Overall, lack of Sun in our physical lives can lead to many health problems that we see so commonly anymore in the world. Are you getting enough Sun in your life?

I felt my Spirit Guides wanted me to share this important message today regarding living in sync with the natural rhythms of Nature. The Moon plays a HUGE part in our lives and every 2.5 days it transits to a new sign.
When in a Fire or Air sign, we are uber productive and have energy for days.
When in an Earth or Water sign, we are tired, desiring to rest, and feel the urge to just do the necessities and nothing more. To really indulge in taking care of ourselves and families.
If we don't honor these built in rest periods, and are always go go going, we will burnout and find our body's making us rest. This rest is not going to be leisurely rest either. This rest is one that will be LONG, possibly painful, perhaps even in the hospital.
We NEED rest. It is not something to be earned. It is something to learn to embrace and enjoy.

Today, I talk all about Taurus and what it means for Natives (Sun, Moon, Rising) of this sign and their health. Taurus is a fixed earth sign. The Glyph is a circle with a crescent moon on top, forming the horns of the bull. Venus rules Taurus and as such lends is receptive, loving energy to Taureans.

Today's episode is part 1 in a 12 part series all about the signs of the Zodiac from a Medical Astrology Standpoint. We start with the first sign of the Zodiac- Aries. Aries is a cardinal fire sign and a very dynamic energy.
Aries rules the head, the adrenal glands, the upper jaw/teeth, the febrile mechanism and co-rules the iron in the blood with Mars.
Common health problems with Aries are headaches, sleep issues, electrolyte imbalances, injuries, adrenal fatigue/burnout/HPA axis dysfunction, stress related health problems, anemia.
Herbs to help with Aries problems are: Nettle, Ashwaganda, Cayenne, Elder • Antipathetic: Skullcap, Milky Oats, Passionflower, Licorice, Oregon Grape, Lavender. (Note: many of the anti-pathetic herbs for Aries are ruled by the Moon, which brings in the cooling, relaxing quality they often need)
Other holistic ways to help with common Aries problems are mentioned in the show as well.
Aries Sun placements are very dynamic, amazing people and when tending to their health in the way that is best for them, are one of the longest living signs of the Zodiac.

I realized a couple weeks ago that it had been a LONG time since I had felt insecure in my romantic relationship and been repeating the toxic patterns I was raised with and had been repeating for years prior to meeting my spouse.
