A few days ago it was our 50th anniversary and in this spirit were numerous exhibitions of talents and lots more. We had people from the drama group, choirs, etc doing one or two things.
And on one of those days, came this little saxophonist.
This night was termed varieties night. People from all walks of life came doing what they know how best to do and this little girl wasn't an exception, in fact, she left people in total awe and some wondering when the little girl started her training to be able to handle the sax.
Although she was not so bold at the start, you could tell from the way she blew the sax that she wasn't confident at the beginning but when she gained her ground, she did it better.
She played about four different songs, but I think I only captured about three.
Among the songs were; Great Is Thy Faithfulness and The Old Rugged Cross
I will share a few lines of lyrics to the songs.

These are a few lines from the songs played by the girl.
It was such a delightful thing to watch this young one playing. Although she still has a lot to learn and a long way to go, it's wonderful seeing little children have a passion for music. I believe this little one future will be bright with this vision in mind.

I admire God's grace in his life.

First will like to apologize for the other time. Taking my viewers to the chicken farm without saying anything about the things going on there.
So this time I will try my best to explain what and what we often do over here in our poultry farm.
Firstly what kind of birds are this, am sure someone would love to ask.
Now this breeds of hens are called LAYERS their major duty is to lay eggs. Even without undergoing the normal and natural way of mating or servicing by another bird.
Feeding/Food
The young layers, that is the baby layer is given the feed called "starter" this will enable the young chick to start growing and building their bodies
Then after some weeks they are given another feed called "Grower" this is to enable their rapid growth, this is because layer birds are different from commercial agricultural birds which are the "broilers".
Again after like 5-6 months, when the birds start laying eggs, they are given the feed called "layer mash"
This is to help them in the laying progress and to enable them lay fine and bigger sizes of eggs.
Maintenance
Change the feeding and water troughs regularly. On a daily basis
The bird's bedding must be changed at least 2-3weeks
Cut the bird's peak when it is matured to avoiding them from breaking the eggs laid by them
Vaccination is required when rearing birds
Isolation of the sick birds and the barren ones to ensure and monitor their progress and response to treatment
wash the water troughs regularly
Importance
The layer birds are good for consumption
The eggs laid by the birds are good source of protein
The are source of income to the farmer
Even the bird's bedding or dung is a source of manure or fertilizer for agricultural farmland
Layer bird rearing generates more income than the commercial agricultural birds "broilers"
Meat gotten from the layer birds are rich source of protein in man's meal
The Layer birds are good breed of birds. This is why most poultry farm choose them over "broilers" which is only for the meat-consumption.
Today I entered my poultry farm๐ to collect my proteinous eggs๐
Today's meal will be wow! Yummy with lot of proteins. And don't forget Christmas is fast approaching, as we are going to Merry with our chicken... This is just getting sweeter๐๐

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!
Today's activity was a bit stressful, tiresome, and muscles shifting ๐
We processed our local garri today and I will be teaching you how that is possible here at home.
What is Garri? Garri is a product gotten from cassava. It can be used in making eba for soups. Actually a lot of products can be gotten from cassava but that is not our main emphasis today. The main thing today is garri, how to process our local garri from cassava.
Step by Step Processes
Harvest the cassava from the farm
Peel the cassava, wash off the dirt
Grind the cassava and put it in a bag, preferably Rice's bag or bird's feed bag so that the water from the grinded cassava will drain out
After that, lay the cassava bags on an engine or machine for pressing. You can leave it for a day inside the machine, so it can be well pressed and dried
when the cassava is well dried, you sieve it. By sieving the cassava, you are separating it from its chaff
After sieving the cassava,
You warm the pot for frying
Then scoop the sieved cassava into the warm pot and start frying. Fry until it is very light with fine texture
After frying, the garri is ready. You just need to scoop it out of the hot pot into a well conversed container for preservation.
And you can now use your fried Garri with hot to make eba for soup. As well as with cold water for sipping, with your condiments like milk, sugar, groundnut, coconut, chocolate, banana and lots more.
Remember making of Garri is always tedious and time consuming, so you can also get an extra hand to help in the process of preparation.

Today I thought of doing something different here on @threespeak
It doesn't matter how silly it may turn out to be but my joy is that I did something way out of the picture.
I chose to bring it here on steem.
Like every other thing, I love drawing. Am not an artist neither did I study anything art related in school. I just think its an inborn passion, since I was small, I could do things my agemate couldn't do at that age, I became outstanding among my equals. Not boasting though, I am not a profession artist, and am neither a master, am still learning everyday, I trying to be perfect even without going for a training. I am working on myself to be better. To draw and paint better than I did yesterday or when I was a child/teenager
Drawing to me is just an hobby, cause I find myself doing it every time I'm bored. Will just grab a pencil and start doing my normal business. In the end whether it turns out fine or not, whether what I actually sis has a define shape or not. All I knew is that I did something with the pencil; I drew. And that was all that mattered.
Growing up, I came across different artwork and piece, mostly amazing and lovely ones, I became really intimated that I often say to myself "You know you've really not started anything yet" just imagine that artwork, wow! Just take a look at that, can you even compare?
It's quite funny though๐ but the truth is I've always felt that way, anytime I come across amazing artworks done by others, especially the professional. Will just ask myself when I will reach that stage, of making an awesome and unique artworks like they do. Most times I usually thought its not even possible
But then, they are human beings like me, they are aliens, they don't have two head, its just one. Neither do they have a hundred fingers.
So if they with the same body features as I could make such wonderful things, then I too can do better if I put my mind on it.
I can do just anything with determination.
I kind of envy those artist who could bring out their thoughts, imaginations, feelings, emotions, ideas on paper through art piece. They got me tripping and yearning to learn more of artwork and do better.
They make me wanna take artwork more seriously than being just a hobby.
To all the artist out there, I admire and respect your works.
To every professional and great artist out here steem and other places, I appreciate your good works and effort, I receive special grace to be like you and even better someday๐๐๐

Woke up this morning and went to the poultry farm to do my normal business; feeding them and filling their water troughs
On getting there only to find the fowls shouting and making a hell of usual noises.
Running helter skelter, flying up and down and some even fighting themselves.
At some point I stood and wondered๐ when nothing came into my mind, I just went ahead to do what took me there.
