An educational and relatable podcast for those in the wedding videography industry & for small business owners. We share our successes, failures, and all the lessons we are learning along the way as we navigate growing our small wedding videography business.
In this episode I discuss the hard realities I've faced since going full time with our business, and how I ultimately lost myself in the need to succeed and the need for validation. It took me finally hitting rock bottom to realize something had to change. Now I am relearning and rewiring how I view this profession and how I want to operate moving forward. Is social media to blame? Is the economy or wedding gap to blame? Or is it actually myself? Let's talk about it!
Rob and Adalenne introduce Stanton Giles to help tell the untold truth of Destination Wedding Videography. They go through their past experiences in the industry with the hope that you will learn how to better prepare for all aspects of traveling. From gear, flights, and rental cars, they tell their learning experiences and how they navigated them.

In the second episode of For the Feeling, we discuss 10 things that we did in order to achieve our financial goals and make 6 figures in our first year of being full time with our wedding videography business. Transitioning out of a traditional job and being a full time business owner can feel terrifying. The key is to set your goals and make actionable steps to reach them. This looks like mentorship, education, tweaking your brand identity, restructuring your packages, raising your prices, leveling up your art and your client experience, and more. We hope this episode encourages you!
We are so excited to be relaunching our podcast with our brand new name, For the Feeling. In this episode, we dive into how we discovered our "why" behind our business and the art of filmmaking. We discuss our own journey and give some great tips on how you can discover your own why. We also dig into how you can start connecting with your couples on a deeper level so that you can help them feel more comfortable and willing to open up on camera. Breaking down that relational barrier opens up so much opportunity to tell amazing stories. We hope you enjoy the episode!

We are so excited about our very first episode of our brand new podcast! We hope you enjoy and subscribe to see a new episode every Friday at 12pm CST!
In our very first episode we tell the story of how we fell in love with videography & started our wedding videography business as 19 and 20 year olds completing our college degrees. We had no idea what it could grow into and how much there would be to learn. There's so many things we wish we had known from the start, and there's so many things we are learning with each passing day. We hope this podcast will be an encouragement for all those on a similar journey with their small business.
