Greetings to all the members in the Hive platform especially the Splinterlands community.

I will share today my battle entry for this week's Share Your Battle Challenge featuring the monster Disintegrator. It is a common non-element melee monster from the Chaos Legion Edition.

The featured battle is in the Silver League battle while the level of my chosen monsters is within the guide of the Bronze League because I want to maximize my the 600 DEC that is available in my account. Overall, the cost of my rentals reached 564.690 DEC where I rented all the cards I need in all the elements.

Here is the battle featuring the Disintegrator.

RULESETS

  • Unprotected: Armor stat is in all the players monsters are not available in the battle.
  • Broken Arrows: Range monsters can't be use in the battle.
  • 99 mana battle.

BATTLE LINEUP STRATEGY

  • For this battle, I expect the opponent that he/she will choose magic damagers in the battle based on his past battle records. I decided to choose Mimosa Nightshade as my summoner, reducing the range damage of the enemy by -1 range, giving my chosen monsters the Void ability to reduced the magic damage they receives, and gives the Affliction debuff to enemy monsters to nullify the healing capabilities of the enemy monsters.
  • For the first position, I choose Bone Golem, a rare melee damager with a stats of 3 melee, 1 speed, 2 armor, and 7 health. With the Void ability, it reduces the magic damage it receives.
  • Second position is The Gordolon. An epic melee damager with a stats of 4 melee, 1 speed, and 12 health. It can attack the first position monster of the enemy even in this position thanks to the Reach ability given to this monster.
  • Third position is the featured monster Disintegrator. A common melee damager with a stats of 2 melee, 1 speed, 2 armor, and 6 health. It reduces the melee attack of the enemy monsters thanks to the Demoralize ability.
  • Fourth position is the Dark Ha'on. A legendary melee damager with a stats of 2 melee, 3 speed, 1 armor, and 13 health. Because of the Taunt ability, all the attacks of the enemy monsters aside from the first position monster will attack this monster directly. it also has a high chance of evading melee and range attacks from the enemy.
  • Fifth position is the Sand Worm, a common melee damager with a stats of 5 melee, 2 speed, and 6 health. It attacks the last position monster of the enemy.
  • Last position is the Phantom Soldier. An epic magic damager with a stats of 2 magic, 3 speed, and 9 health. It has a high chance of evading melee and range attacks from the enemy making it a good backline defense monster.

BATTLE

Link to battle

In this battle, both the level of the monsters in the field is within the Bronze league guide. The affliction debuff is acquired my the enemy, and the Demoralize ability of the Disintegrator reduces the melee damage of the enemy monsters. In the first round, all the attacks of the monsters goes to the monsters with the Taunt ability in the field. By the second level, the opponent's monster with the Taunt ability died first. In the third round, the Dark Ha'on in my field was defeated. The last position monster of the enemy died also in this round. The opponent's Venari Knifer is defeated in the fourth round. The Gordolon is defeated in the fifth round. The attacks continues in the sixth round, and by the seventh round, the Disintegrator is defeated, the Sandworm defeated the enemy Unicorn Mustang followed by defeating the Goblin Psychic which make the Regal Peryton the remaining monster of the opponent in the 8th round which is instantly defeated leading to my victory, and earning me 5.063 DEC from the reward pool.

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?

The strategy in this battle worked efficiently. Thanks to the Affliction debuff given by my summoner to the enemy, the ability of the opponent's Goblin Psychic was nullified giving me a chance in winning the battle. With the Void ability, the magic damages that was received by my chosen monsters reduced making some of my monsters to last long in the battle. Both players in the field has a monster with the Taunt ability but because I choose the Dark Ha'on, it gives me an advantage in the health stat that lasted n the third round while the enemy lasted only in the second round. The ability of the Disintegrator also helps in this battle, reducing the melee damage of the enemy. With the mana capacity in the highest available possible in battles, I decided to choose all the monsters in my rentals in the high mana call cost with high health stat available.

DO YOU LIKE USING THE DISINTEGRATOR?

Disintegrator is a good card to use especially in between the 20 to 30 mana battles. I also like the ability given to this monster that I decided to use it in other battles aside from this battle. It is a good monster in the first position making it one of the card that I will rent whenever I wanted to play the game.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope that it could give you some tips on how to strategize in your battles. Wishing you all a satisfying rewards this season.

Players sharing their strategies in winning their battles to the forefront strengthens ones motivation to learn, and play the game. Having to figure out which card to choose and position to place, how will it complete the mana needed, the abilities that will help in your victory, and making decisions on how to proceed again in the next battle makes ones experience in the game more fun.

To be honest, I lost far more matches that winning since I start playing the game, despite that, I tried to learn some proper ways to choose a good monsters for my lineup thanks to the advices of my fellow players in the community as well as reading their battle experiences in the weekly Share Your Battle Challenge that is created by the Splinterlands team in the Hive platform.

For this week's challenge, the Splinterlands team decided to feature the Carrion Shade in the battles. It is a common card from the Death element from the Chaos Legion edition.

The level guide of my battle that I will share today is under the guide of Gold league while the battle is happening in the Diamond league.

RULESETS

  • Stampede: The trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled monster is killed.
  • Up Close & Personal: Only melee monsters may be use in the battle.
  • 38-mana battle.

BATTLE LINEUP STRATEGY

  • Because we could only use melee monsters, I decided to be in Death element, and choose Zintar Mortalis as my summoner so it can reduce the melee attack of the opponent's monster by -1 melee.
  • First position is the Haunted Spirit. A rare monster with the stats of 4 melee, 3 speed, and 9 health. With its heal ability, it could last longer in the battle so I decided to choose it as a tank.
  • Second position is the Shadow Snitch. A common monster with the stats of 3 melee, 4 speed, and 6 health. It could attack the first position monster of the enemy thanks to the Reach ability, and nullify the healing ability when the opponent monster acquires the Affliction debuff.
  • Third position is the Silent Sha-vi. A common monster with a stats of 3 melee, 6 speed, and 7 health. It sneaks an attack to the enemy with its Sneak ability, and reduces the target's health by -1 with its Cripple ability.
  • Fourth position is the Sand Worm. Another common card with a stats of 6 melee, 4 speed, and 7 health. It also sneaks an attack, and removes the fly ability of the target monster.
  • Fifth position is the War Chaang. An epic monster with the stats of 2 range, 3 melee, 3 speed, and 9 health. It has the chance to retaliate when attacked by another melee monster thanks to its Retaliate ability which makes is a decent monster to be positioned on the backline.
  • Last position is the featured monster Carrion Shade. A common monsters with a stats of 2 melee, 3 speed, and 2 health. It has the fly ability giving it a high chance of evading the range and melee attacks making it a good sacrificial backline defense to protect the War Chaang.

BATTLE

LINK TO THE BATTLE

FIRST ROUND

In the battle, the level guide of both players are within the Gold league guide but some of the opponents monsters were lower in level than mine which leads to me having an advantage.

The first attack started by the Silent Sha-vi attacking the Antoid Platoon, removing its armor, and causing the cripple effect. My Shadow Snitch attacks the Grum Flameblade after followed by the Sand Worm defeating the Antoid Platoon. The War Chaang attacked the Grum Flameblade, removing its remaining armor. The Haunted Spirit also attack the Flameblade in this round.

The opponent's Tenyii Striker defeated the Carrion Shade. The Radiated Brute attacked my Haunted Spirit causing some health to decrease. The opponent's Sandworm attacked the War Chaang in my lineup. The Grum Flameblade also attacked the Haunted Spirit.

SECOND ROUND

The start of the second round starts with Silent Sha-vi attacking the opponent's Sand worm causing a cripple debuff. The Shadow Snitch attacked the Flameblade, My Sandworm defeated the other Sand worm. Haunted Spirit healing itself so it can last longer in the battle then attacks the Grum Flameblade. Tenyii Stiker attacked the War Chaang. Radiated Brute attacks the Haunted Spirit. Grum Flameblade attacks the Haunted Spirit but misses.

THIRD ROUND

Silent Sha-vi started again the first attack in this round by attacking the Tenyi Strike and giving it the Cripple debuff. The Grum in this round was defeated by the Shadow Snitch. The Sand Worm also defeated the Tenyii Striker. War Chaang attacked the Radiated Brute. The Radiated Brute defeated my Haunted Spirit.

FOURTH ROUND

In this final round, the Silent Sha-vi defeated the Creeping Ooze of the opponent. The Radiated Brute attacked the Shadow Snitch. Sand Worm ending the battle by defeating the Radiated Brute.

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?

My strategy worked well in this battle. I removed the ability of the opponent's summoner to give additional damage to its monsters. Because the opponent focused on choosing Grum Flameblade as its tank monster, most of the backline monsters are in the disadvantage making them easy to be defeated. Placing the Carrion Shade in the last position was a good choice because it protected the War Chaang from being defeated instantly. Reducing the health of the opponent's backline monster is an easy task for my chosen monsters with the sneak ability, leading to the battle to last in just 4 rounds.

DO YOU LIKE USING THE CARRION SHADE?

To be honest, I don't rent this featured monster whenever I wanted to play the game because in terms of my daily battle strategy, the Carrion Shade will be the least priority based on the ability in the higher league battles that will lead me into victory because I could just choose Cursed Slime under the Death element as my sacrificial defense, and once it is defeated, it activates its Redemption ability causing -1 damage to the health of the opponents monsters, or removing the Holy Protection given to them. Depending on ones strategy, the featured monster under the remaining 1 mana to complete the lineup is a good choice especially in the Melee Mayhem and Equal Opportunity together with the Little league ruleset, and low mana capacity battles.

Thank you for reading my blog about my battle experience with the featured monster. I hope that everyone have a satisfying rewards this season.

Good day everyone in the Hive blockchain community especially the Splinterlands Community.

I would like to share today my art entry for this week.

The fan art I created today is the Creeping Ooze. A common reward card with the ability to reduce the speed of the opponent's monsters.

I created the artwork in the traditional way so that my drawing skills could improve.

Lore of the Creeping Ooze:

For as long as anyone remembers, the fire mountain of Bren-Ha has spewed nothing but smoke and lava. Lately from its cracks, a small Creeping Ooze has been seeping. It cannot be stopped, and it absorbs anything in its creeping path. To make things worse, it managed to board a boat and escape Mortis.

For my art entry. I did a video about the process which you can watch in 3Speak. I created this work using paper and art materials available in our house.

Here is the process of my artwork:

  • I created first the outline and other details of the Creeping Ooze in the sketch paper. As you can see, I didn't follow all the details about the Creeping Ooze that is available in the web.
  • After creating the outline, I colored the outlines by the base color of the Creeping Ooze, and started to add more color details.
  • Once I finished adding some color details, I started to add more colors to my artwork.

Here is the final output of my artwork which I scanned.

I know it lack some colors but I'm satisfied of the outcome of my artwork with the limited materials I have.

Thank you for reading my blog and watching the video about my artwork entry for this week's challenge. I hope that everyone have a satisfying rewards this season.

Every team needs a strong frontline to take in all the damages caused by the enemy which makes choosing the monster to be a tank important. The tank monster defends the backline monsters in your chosen lineup, ensuring them to be alive in the battle.

For this week's Share Your Battle Challenge, the monster to be use in the battles is the Chaos Knight, a common melee attacker in the Life element from the Chaos Legion edition.

In this battle, I choose Chaos Knight as the tank, and all the monsters in my lineup is within the level guide of the Silver League.

Here is my featured battle for this challenge.

BATTLE RULESETS

  • Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit armor before reducing health.
  • Lost Legendaries: Legendary Monsters can't be use in battles.
  • 34-mana capacity battle.

BATTLE FORMATION STRATEGY

  • I choose The Peakrider as my summoner, giving +3 Armor to my summoned monsters, and removes -1 range damage to enemy range monsters.
  • For the first position or the tank position, I choose the featured monster Chaos Knight. A common melee attacker in the 5th level with a stats of 3 melee, 3 speed, 3 armor, and 5 health. It reduces the damage it receives thank to the Shield ability, and cause double damage to monsters with a 10 or higher mana call cost.
  • Second position is the Luminous Eagle. A rare melee attacker in the 4th level with a stats of 3 melee damage, 3 speed, 1 armor, and 6 health. It can attack the first position monster in this position because of the Reach ability. It also have a high chance of evading melee and range attacks thanks to the Fly ability.
  • Third position is the Feral Spirit. A common melee attacker in the 5th level with a stats of 2 melee, 6 speed, and 3 health. With the Sneak ability, it can attack the last position monster of the enemy.
  • Fourth position is the Divine Healer. A common magic card in the 5th level with a stats of 1 magic, 2 speed, and 5 health. It heals the first position monster thank to the Tank Heal ability.
  • Fifth position is the Venari Crystalsmith. A rare range attacker in the 4th level with a stats of 2 range, 3 speed, and 5 health. It also heals the first position monster with the Tank Heal ability.
  • Last position is the Silvershield Assassin. A rare melee attacker in the 4th level with a stats of 2 melee damage, 4 speed, 1 armor, and 5 health. Same with the Feral Spirit, it also attacks the last position monster of the enemy thanks to the Sneak ability. It also attacks twice because of the Double Strike ability.

BATTLE

BATTLE LINK

As you can see in this battle, there is a difference in terms of monster levels. My monster's level is on the Silver guide while the opponent is on the Novice/Bronze guide.

In the first round, the ability of the Peakrider activated instantly, giving all my summoned monsters with +3 armor. For my sneak monsters, instead of attacking the last position monster of the enemy, it attacks the first position monster because of the Taunt ability of the enemy tank. It is a good opportunity for my sneak monsters to remove the armor instantly. The damage of the Chaos Knight in this round has been reduce by half due to the ability of the Halfling Alchemist of the enemy.

Second round is where the armor of my Chaos Knight has been removed officially. The enemy tank is also defeated as well as the first healer of the enemy monster, making the enemy's Halfling Alchemist to be in the first position and unable to make a attack.

In the third and final round, the remaining monsters of the enemy were composed of only range attackers which were defeated instantly, leading to my victory with all my chosen monsters the one still standing in the end, earning me 13.664 DEC from the reward pool.

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?

The strategy I choose in this battle worked skillfully. With the ability of the Peakrider giving additional armor to my chosen monsters, they were more durable to the attacks of the opponent's monsters. Even if the armor of my Chaos Knight is removed in the 2nd round, the tank heal support of the Divine Healer and Venari Crystalsmith is outstanding, making the Chaos Legion to last longer in the battle, Also with the Double Strike ability of the Silvershield Assassin, It feels like I have another attacker in my lineup leading for me to have more advantage in terms of damage.

DO YOU LIKE USING THE CHAOS KNIGHT?

I don't often use the Chaos Knight in battles as the tank because I always choose between Shieldbearer and Pelacor Conjurer for the first position but for this opportunity of using the featured monster and sharing my experience, I find the Chaos Knight to be a good tank monster. I think it is a good monster to use in the higher league with its ability to give additional melee damage to its allies due to the Inspire ability which is available in its higher level. With the Melee Mayhem and Equal Opportunity ruleset, it can fully utilize its full potential in the battle.

Greetings to the players of the Splinterlands community as well as the different communities in the Hive Blockchain.

The latest Share Your Battle Challenge is about the Goblin Psychic. A common magic monster in the Earth type from the Chaos Legion Edition.

Thanks to this opportunity created weekly by the Splinterlands team , players were able to have fun while making a passive earning by simply being good at choosing proper strategies for specific rulesets. By completing and sharing these challenges, and using the rewards in the blockchain's transactions, the game at some point became more successful with the active players worldwide.

Here is my battle featuring the use of Goblin Psychic in battle.

RULESETS

  • Unprotected: Monsters do not have any armor even from the abilities and summoners.
  • Explosive Weaponry: Monsters have the Blast Ability.
  • 28 mana summon.

BATTLE LINEUP STRATEGY

  • In this battle, I choose to go in using the magic type monsters so I decided to choose Obsidian as my summoner to increase the magic damage by +1.
  • First position is for the Failed Summoner. A common card in 5th level with a stats of 2 speed and 7 health. I choose it in the 1st position to counter the magic damage it will receive thanks to the reflect ability.
  • Second position is the Goblin Thief. A common melee damager in the 5th level with a stats of 3 melee damage, 3 speed, and 4 health. With the sneak ability, it will cause a damage to the last position monster of the enemy.
  • Third position is the Wood Nymph. A common magic monster in the 4th level with a stats of 1 magic damage, 3 speed and 3 health. With the tank heal ability, it will heal the first position monster.
  • Fourth position is the featured monster Goblin Psychic. Another common magic monster in the 5th level with a stats of 2 magic damage, 1 speed, and 5 health. It also has the tank heal ability leading to a double heal strategy for the first position monster. With the affliction ability, once the target receives this debuff, it can't heal itself or with the help of other monsters in the lineup.
  • Fifth position is the Mushroom Seer. A rare magic monster in the 4th level with a stats of 2 magic damage, 3 speed, and 4 health. The Silence ability reduces the magic damage of the opponent's enemy monsters.
  • Last position is the Earth Elemental. A rare range monster in the 4th level with a stats of 2 range damage, 2 speed and 6 health. The heal ability will make it heal itself after each round, making it a good sacrificial backline defense for this battle.

BATTLE

| OPPONENT'S LINEUP | MY LINEUP | | --- | --- | | Obsidian (4) | Obsidian (4) | | Flesh Golem (3) | Failed Summoner (5) | | Magi Of The Forest (3) | Goblin Thief (5) | | Khmer Princess (4) | Wood Nymph (4) | | Queen Mycelia (2) | Goblin Psychic (5) | | Spirit Druid Grog (2) | Mushroom Seer (4) | | Djinn Biljka (2) | Earth Elemental (4) |

BATTLE LINK

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?

My strategy in the battle worked efficiently. My lineup have the advantage in terms of speed which makes the Goblin Thief to instantly defeat the Spirit Druid Grog in the battle while inflicting damage to the enemy's target adjacent monsters thanks to the blast ability. The opponent chose to also main in magic damage but thanks to the ability of the Mushroom Seer, it reduces the magic damage which leads to my Failed Summoner to last a long time with the help of the tank heal abilities of the Wood Nymph and Goblin Psychic before it is finally defeated. Also, thanks to the Affliction ability of the Goblin Psychic, the Flesh Golem's Heal ability became invalid leading for my victory in the end.

DO YOU LIKE USING THE GOBIN PSYCHIC?

As a new player, Goblin Psychic will be one of the monsters that I will use in my future battles. The tank heal ability is pretty much good in an infinite or semi-infinite healing combination strategy with the Wood Nymph and Pelacor Mercenary in the higher battles depending on the rulesets.

What I like in this battle is that the monster advantage isn't just about choosing the monster with the highest possible damage, it's also about using the monsters with desirable abilities against your opponents in a respective ruleset that will win you in battles.

Good day to the Splinterlands community as well as the other members of different communities in the Hive Blockchain.

I would like to share today the quest that I completed which is not using the Neutral element monsters. The daily quest is quite easy to complete because it requires only 3 battles of not using any neutral monsters in the battle.

As we all know, Neutral element is one of the major types in the game and can be use together in any elements in the game, making it one of the important factor in creating your desired deck of monsters for your future battles.

Here are the featured battles that completed my daily quest.

FIRST BATTLE

In this battle, the rulesets were Target Practice and Holy Protection. I choose Yodin Zaku as my summoner for its Blast ability to instantly remove the Holy protection ability from the enemy. Serpentine Soldier for the Dodge ability for higher chance to evade the attack of the enemy monsters. Kobold Miner for the sneak attack for the last position monster. Goblin Shaman to reduce the speed and health of the enemy. Lord of Fire to increase the health of allies while reducing the magic damage of the enemy monster. Goblin Fireballer another range damager. Imp Bowman for the backline defense due to its Fly ability to have a chance in evading the attack of the enemy monsters.

SECOND BATTLE

In this battle, the rulesets were Stampede and Odd Ones Out. I choose Prince Rennyn as my summoner to increase the range damage for my range summons, speed, and health. Pelacor Mercenary as my tank due to its high armor and health as well as the Fly ability for the high chance of evading the attack of the enemy monsters. Mushroom Seer to cause underhand damage with magic while reducing the magic damage of the enemy. Child of the Forest for the range damage. Brownie to increase the speed of allies while serving as a sacrificial backline defense.

THIRD BATTLE

For the final battle that will complete my quest, the rulesets were Armored Up and Noxius Fumes under 46 mana summon. I choose Yodin Zaku for the Ability to instantly reduce the health of the enemy monsters. Living Lava as the tank with the Shield ability, reducing the melee and range damage it receives. Lava Launcher as the reserve tank tanks to the Close Range ability. Goblin Shaman to reduce the health and speed of the enemy monsters. Scavo Chemist to cleanse the first position monster in the lineup. Ettin Spearman for the high range damage. Molten Ash Golem to serve as a backline defense thanks to its high health.

After completing the daily quest, I immediately claimed the chest giving me rewards composed of 10 DEC, and 3 common reward cards. A fair reward for my efforts in completing the quest.

Some may say that the daily quest aren't fun because of the rewards given to them but there is an overwhelming feeling when you receive a good drop after completing such tasks, making it a smart way to attract players to come back everyday working towards the long term goals of collecting and earning that keeps the game alive and active.

Hope you are satisfied with the rewards given to you in your respective daily quests, and learning new strategies everyday in battles.

If you are interested in playing the game then I invite you to start playing. Just click on my referral link to sign up. This is a play to earn game so you will need to invest in a spellbook, tokens, and cards to start playing and earning.
