What kind of a person could handle the task that Yahweh has just asked? I'm going to destroy the whole world, and I need your help. Who can step to that? How do you deal with this? What kind of man could swallow hard, take a deep breath and get to work? Well, let's take a look at the character of the Righteous Man who was asked to do just that.
Part two in our discussion gets out of the giant clans and into the therapist chair, ha! We go over the aspect of comfort and how we crave it. The bible is teaching us how to views life bumps and how to react. Our sorrow for what was in Eden can be a great posture to have in our day to day lives. We are not meant to "get through the day". Thats a terrible way to go through this life. This episode focuses on that and how to adjust. Noah had some first hand knowledge of sorrow and toil. Let's see how he did
If there is one bible tale that needs to be taken out of the children's bedtime genre and added to the horror section, it is this one. This is a tough topic, but a necessary one. This episdoe focuses on what the land was like at the time of Noah. What would it take for the Creator of the world to shake the Etch-A-Sketch and start over? How bad could it possilby have been? With the passing of Dr. Heiser, I wanted to get out this episode which is my interpretation of his Top Ten list. He did something similar on his podcast years again and I found it very helpful. If you are stuck in your spiritual growth, this can be a real boost to push through your current limits. Enjoy!
The last installment on the topic of Cain. This one focuses on some outside the box views of the story. We get into some Midrash, which is probably new to you so enjoy. We also delve into the topic of the Mark of Cain, which I bet you have heard a story on and never one like the way we see it here!
