This month, we had an interview with another awesome brother from our community, Kengo Kawa! We learn so much from each guest we have and this time, I was so impressed by how Kengo incorporates prayer into his daily life! Thank you Kengo for sharing your journey! Can't wait for Part 2 in the future🙂
Bio: I was born in New Jersey 24 years ago. I lived most of my life in Orange County, California. I have 3 siblings: 1 brother and 2 sisters. I like to exercise and spend time outdoors. I did 2 years of GPA (Generation Peace Academy) before starting college at El Camino College. I am a current transfer student in Cal State Long Beach studying my last year of chemical engineering as an undergraduate. I am studying God's word eternally.

Bio: My name is Kodai Abe. I am currently 24 years old and was born and raised in LA. I am currently studying Business Management at CSU Fullerton. I have been helping out with CARP for 5 years now serving as a Regional Leader in LA. I have multiple spiritual children including a Christian pastor. I can guarantee I love Coca-Cola more than anyone.

He talked about this experience in Cheongpyeong for 14 40 days workshop, army, and what truly means to serve and love the country, TP and GOD. Born in Hayward California.
Moved to Oregon at 3years old
Loved Art, interested in Filmmaking since high school.
Went to Army at 17 years old
went to GPA (the first time it became GPA )
went to Cheongpyeong for 14 40 days workshop.) (felt spiritually born there)
lived in Korea for 2 years, (1 year in CP, then 1 year teaching English, and learning Korean, and also working on filmmaking.)
worked for HQ (NY) Media since 2015.
lived in LA for 5 years since 2015 (Autumn time)
Currently helping out the community with MEDIA and Filmmaking for the providence.

Hi my name is Myoyeon Yu, I’m 27 years. I’m originally from Kodiak, AK but I’ve been living in LA for the last 6 years. I studied International Relations at UCSD but currently, I’m going back to school for communications & preparing for the Foreign Service Officer’s exam for the State Department. I have always enjoyed being involved in the community whether it’s been with youth ministry, Sunday school, or even YAM. I have worked with different non-profit organizations such as LiNK & GPA and have a personal goal of starting my own someday. I enjoy traveling & experiencing new cultures, especially with family & friends.

Egiko Jung is here to share her roots and experience! She answered questions about her faith, the cultural difference between the USA, Japan, Korea, and also tips about how to raise kids. It was so nice to hear from our community's older sister who has many experiences!
Bio: Egiko Hiraide Jung
Born in New York, raised in New York, Colorado, mostly in New Jersey. Went to GOP and PREP program in Korea. Graduated from Dumont High School in NJ. Graduated from University of Bridgeport. Did STF and 40 day pioneer program in Poland. Blessed in 1997 2nd generation 400 couple. Raising a family with 4 children. Oldest in college. Youngest entering 6th grade. Hobby: outdoor and indoor gardening and watching history and science and anime shows. Enjoy ANY home made cook/meals that someone makes for me.
