On this episode we will spotlight Customized Employment, a process where new pathways are created between employers and people with special needs. We will talk with Customized Employment professional Corey Smith, of Griffin Hammis Associates. We discuss the process of Customized Employment and his experience working in the trenches finding disabled people meaningful employment.
We will begin by discussing the core belief that each person has personal genius, and if a person wants to work it is the role of the Customized Employment Specialist to discover how to get them work that fits their goals and abilities. Then we will get into the nuts and bolts of how the Customized Employment process works and discuss specific examples.

Interview with Douglas Stevenson, a long-time resident of and volunteer spokesperson for The Farm, a well-known intentional community located in Summertown, Tennessee. The rich 50-year history of The Farm is about hard work, intelligence, perseverance and the embodiment of higher principles.
Douglas, a successful entrepreneur, musician, author and speaker, was one of the people instrumental in transforming The Farm from a struggling hippie community into a sustainable ecovillage.

This episode features an interview with Dr. Ray Webber, the founder of Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens, along with Teresa Mankin the Events Coordinator. Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens is located in Williston Florida. It is built on a former lime quarry that was transformed into a breathtakingly beautiful botanical garden.
