Bold Venture was a syndicated radio series starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall that aired from 1951 to 1952. Bogart played boat and hotel owner Slate Shannon, and his then wife, Lauren Bacall, played Lady Sailor Duval, a young woman under Shannon’s protection.
